Oh no Mship so sorry to hear this Thanks

Sweets27 · 24/04/2015 15:31

Oh no, I'm so sorry Mship. Thoughts with you. Really hope to see you on another one of these buses very very soon Flowers

So sorry mship and swimming, big hugs and wish you both all the very best xx

sweets great news

chops I think it is likely still internal but they might try external first as they prefer to do the least intrusive way. Annoying thing is you need empty bladder for internal and full for external! Maybe worth asking them.

toadierocks · 24/04/2015 16:44

mship So sorry to hear your news Flowers x

chopsface they will try external first and then if they can't get a clear view they'll go in with internal. Internal is fine and nothing to worry about. I have a retroverted uterus so they can't see much on the external.

Sweets27 · 24/04/2015 16:50

chops, they started my scan externally but then asked me if I was happy for them to do the internal so that we could get a clear view. It was fairly un-traumatic Smile

serenity, congratulations on the positive scan - I'd been wondering how you were doing - how exciting for you!!! You must be so relieved and overjoyed Grin

chopsface · 24/04/2015 16:54

I've had 3 internal scans already from fertility investigations. I'd prefer one to be honest so I don't have the full bladder issues! Urgh hate that, especially when they run late!

I really fancy curry tonight, but we've got meatballs :-( Defrosted the meatballs specially so can't get a curry.... Can I?!

megarobotdiscoparty · 24/04/2015 17:16

sweets mine was only 5cm - hospital scared me about it but as I said the consultants at the clinic were utterly unbothered and couldn't understand where they'd got the operation thing from! My friend's colleague's was bigger but friend can't remember how big. I'm sure it will be AOK. My best tip is to give it a ridiculous pet name (I called mine Cyril which made it seem much less worrying!) When do you see the consultant about it?

whatsforye no way! How about a great big lasagne with extra cheese to go alongside? We should open a cafe...

So sad to hear your news mship - wishing you an express ticket onto the next bus Flowers

Hi serenity - wonderful news about the scan! Another bean on the bus!

Crossing everything we will be joining you ladies with positive scans on Monday. At my dad's tonight so think we might tell them. Hope the reaction is better than my mum and step dad's - grumpy that their house won't be big enough for all the grandchildren now! Don't think they're on board with even more chaos...

Withalittlesparkle · 24/04/2015 18:28

Chops I'd call it a craving and then you'd have to have a curry

Jcandy · 24/04/2015 18:43

That's what I've done with fish and chips! Dp is just out getting them now Smile

Sorry to those with bad news and congrats to those with good scans. I've mainly been lurking but I'm reading every day. It feels good knowing people have the same hopes and fears as me

TerryTheGreenHorse · 24/04/2015 18:45

Mship sorry to hear your news and wishing you a speedy recovery and a few smoldering looks x

MarkingMyPlace9 · 24/04/2015 18:58

Urgh, first bit of 'Morning' Sickness just hit me, thank god the Kitchen Sink was empty!! And so tired Sad Couldn't even read Bedtime Story to DS, and the Sickness came on as I was putting Him to Bed. Oh the Joys!

Withalittlesparkle · 24/04/2015 19:25

Marking I have strategically placed bowls around the house just in case! And being sick is exhausting

Honey85 · 24/04/2015 19:50

Hi ladies! I've been keeping up to date but not posted much!

I'm so sorry to hear about those going through a tough time, my thoughts are with you xx

Lots of nausea and tiredness here, along with eating everything in sight! Had booking in appointment on Wednesday so now just waiting for the scan!

This might reassure a few that are spotting etc, with my dd I spotted for about 5/6 days with mild cramps at about 9 weeks and was referred for an early scan. All was fine and she's now a bouncing 2 year old. thats not to say I wasn't in a state at the time though! Even after the scan as I was still bleeding.

Off on holiday in 10 days and none of my clothes fit!!

WaitingForEgg · 24/04/2015 20:10

Honey85 thanks for the reassurance. Fingers crossed no more spotting since the 2 spots yesterday so really hoping that was it but trying not to be too hopeful. When is your due date?

oceanlady · 24/04/2015 20:43

So sorry for those going through hard times. Flowers

Had my booking in today, twelve week scan booked! 22nd May. God that seems so far away!!!! Sad

First waves of nausea kicking in but nothing too bad as of yet...however.....F'in hell my boobs hurt and I swear my nips have doubled in size the last few days!!!!

ChandlersFarang · 24/04/2015 21:03

Just had a mammoth catch-up session and my heart goes out to the ladies that have had losses or are currently in limbo. I've been there too and it sucks. But despite all the bullshit and waiting I went through I managed to get this second BFP just two months after my loss - if you're ready to try again soon then please stay positive that you'll be back on the AN threads very soon! ThanksThanks

Honey85 · 24/04/2015 21:29

Waiting Sounds like a good sign and great that you are being so calm too :)

Due date currently is 30th November but I'm pretty sure it'll be 2nd December as know when it was hehe!

Sweets27 · 24/04/2015 21:55

megarobot lol, I love Cyril the Cyst! Will think of a good pet name for mine. Grin No news yet on when I'll see the consultant, GP apparently going to write me the referral fax on Monday. Good luck for your scan on Mon!

Hope everyone's having a nice evening and not too horribly affected by morning sickness. I am still in the office, boo. My job sucks.

ChandlersFarang · 24/04/2015 22:09

I'm over in Tokyo with crazy jetlag and just read all your delicious foods posts at 3am whilst munching on a stale multigrain bagel that I flew here from Canada... Confused definitely not up to the job!!! But feel good for having eaten. Haven't been sick but def starting to get a bit nauseous when hungry or tired as others have said. I'm 6 weeks today! So excited to have held on to this bean so long!! Grin

Has anyone else been feeling nauseous at the sight of adverts for food they really don't fancy?! There were some really gross ones in North America for things like a fast food restaurant burger with a 'pocket of molten cheese' inside the grey meat - bork!!!!!! ConfusedConfused

Sweets27 · 24/04/2015 22:12

Oh dear god thanks for that chandlers, I just nearly threw up reading that cheese burger description... so no, you are not alone! Smile

ChandlersFarang · 24/04/2015 22:19

Haha sorry sweets!! Glad to hear your scan went well by the way, even despite your as-yet unnamed cyst. I have polycycstic ovaries (not full-blown PCOS though) so will be interesting to see what mine look like when I have a scan. In the past they've all been pretty tiny (around 20 each side!!). Amazing I'm pregnant at all GrinGrin

For the stats page I'm currently living in Asia so I won't have NHS appointments until we move home to London in the summer... Talking of summer, I'm going to Glastonbury festival at what will be 14 weeks, if I'm lucky enough to still be preg then!! Anyone else got tickets? Or to any other crazy not-very-pregnancy-compliant events?! Shock

BoobsTooBig · 24/04/2015 22:41

Very sorry Mship :( I love how you described your husband just looking at you smoulderingly and you get your BFP :) good luck for next month xx

orangemouth281 · 25/04/2015 06:18

chandler I went to Glastonbury 2 years ago when I was 9 weeks pg and people thought I was mad but I loved it! It was a very different festival experience to what I was used to as I was tucked up in my tent by half 11 every night! I developed a craving for crumpets and even left half way through the rolling stones on a mission to find some! Luckily I didn't have any nausea, I don't know how I would have coped with the toilets if I did. I'm very jealous that you get to go this year.
