Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

On another note noticed next doors back window is wide open with a chair under it- going to have to go and investigate shortly I think. Hope to god the house hasn't been broken into!

WilHarlot · 23/04/2015 09:02

Sorry about your granddad but great he had a good night. Please be careful if investigating a possible break in Pixie.

I still don't get why a guy would have an opinion on childbirth. If they were going for a medical procedure, you wouldn't sit there telling them what drugs they were allowed to take. I know childbirth isn't a medical procedure as such but if you're having drugs, it turns into one. Whoever's body is going through the trauma decides, surely? I think I quite appreciate MrWil's couldn't-be-arsed-to-learn-anything-about-pregnancy-and-childbirth approach.

Fattycow · 23/04/2015 09:07

Be careful, pixie!

Oh buttocks, I have missed so much. Here are my stats again, do forgive their ridiculous lateness (page 23? really?)

Name: Rhi
Age 33
DCs: DS 5 and DD almost 3, currently baking a third and at 15+3 today.
Due: October 12th

Will have a read up and get back to you with something insightful and important when I've thought of something :)

ChatEnOeuf · 23/04/2015 09:37

Hi Rhi! Welcome back, how's things?

Pixie be careful! Sorry to hear your grandad is so poorly Flowers. IME, there's often a wonderful lucid period before old folks pass away where they seem better - impossible to know if they are rallying or it's this. May be a good time to pop over? Or not if you don't feel you want to.

DH knows better than to offer anything resembling an opinion on delivery matters...apart from not wanting to cut the cord as it freaks him out, he's delegated all decisions to me. Good thing, with it being my body that's doing the work.

Pud I wouldn't worry too much about nutrient balance at this stage - whatever keeps you from nausea and vomiting is good. I ate a lot of cheese last time around never really stopped and bizarrely for me, a few yogurts. I normally can't stand them. Just about balanced the lack of milk in tea, which I couldn't stomach for weeks on end Sad

couldntbebothered · 23/04/2015 09:56

Good luck to the rest of you due this week. Am currently sporting the most enormous boobs as milk has come in and baby is feeding non stop.

Prefer not to post names and photos on forum (sorry guys!) but suffice to say she is lovely.

batfish · 23/04/2015 10:21

Has anyone had problems with stabbing pains in the side when sleeping/lying down? I've had it a couple of times now where I wake up in the night (seems to happen when I'm lying on right hand side) and then when I turn over I get a horrible stabbing pain in my right hand side - it is quite high up so I don't think it's anything to worry about in terms of the baby. It's like when you get stitch but a million times worse, I have to hold on to my side really tight to be able to turn over. It happened last night and now today I've got a slight ache as if I've pulled something. Just wondered if it's likely to be pregnancy related or if I should see a non baby doc!

RhiannonElward · 23/04/2015 10:50

Hi Chat, I'm doing alright considering I'm surrounded by ill children. DS is off school with some sort of disgusting mucus producing disease a fever and a sore throat and DD has the same without the fever. I'm waiting for my turn. Hope you're doing well too :)

Pixie I fully understand wanting to remember your Grandfather well and healthy, but having recently lost a grandmother and having another in the late stages of terminal cancer I've learned that guilt eats you up afterwards. Do whatever you feel able to do for him is my advice, because when he's gone you might regret every missed opportunity to spend time with him and it's shit, honestly. I know the last thing you need is other people telling you what to do, but having been there and regretted it I thought you might like to know. Thinking of you Flowers and please be careful investigating burglaries, just ring the police if you have any concerns, they can investigate for you.

Pud seriously don't worry too much about what you're eating, getting anything to stay down at this stage is a bonus. You'll be fine. I went off milk but managed to eat things like cheese sauces and yoghurt at least some of the time. Honestly though, eat what you fancy and you'll be okay.

Pain relief in labour is not something I take opinions on, I will do what I need to and I will be happy to just have a go at a vaginal birth and therefore be given a choice about what happens next. Dp really wants me to have a natural birth too just so we get to experience that but he'd never tell me not to have an epidural, even though he damn near passed out the only time he saw the needle they use. Bloody wimp.

teejayem · 23/04/2015 11:12

Might be round ligament pain bat? I used to get it if I stood up too fast or rolled over in bed, it's your uterus support system having a bit of a stretch....

WilHarlot · 23/04/2015 11:13

I used to get that bat - presumed it was structural.

Hope you avoid the bug Rhi.

I have been scrubbing tile grouting this morning such is my exciting life. I have managed to do about 1/16 of the floor due to small people interruptions. Envy

batfish · 23/04/2015 11:25

Ah yes tee I do get a very mild version of it if I move too fast so I guess it's just one of the many pregnancy joys Smile It was really painful, nearly made me shout out but I didn't want to wake the hubby and panic him! Felt like something was going to rip!

LaLaLaaaa · 23/04/2015 11:42

Hi everyone! I've missed too much to try to catch up properly sorry, you chatty bunch!

Pixie I'm so sorry to hear about your grandad. Do be careful - would it not be better to knock on front door then phone police if no answer?

Wil - put your feet up! Cleaning is no fun Smile

Hosted book group last night which was fun but they stayed and lingered...my poor bump was hurting so much, I just wanted to lie down. They eventually left at 10, then the weird heart racing started. I woke up not able to breathe properly and palpitations. Not pleasant. Woke dh up who rubbed my back which helped to being heart rate down a bit.

Poor baby was obviously a bit upset, he was bouncing around like a lunatic.

Got Physio appointment today to discuss hips.

How are you due viroids? Anyone getting twinges yet? prepares pom poms...

Bat I think those are round ligament pains I got them around the same time. V sore!

batfish · 23/04/2015 12:39

You poor thing la, the heart racing and sore bump doesn't sound fun! A girl at work is 33 weeks which is further than you I know but I keep looking at her just thinking it must be so painful having that great big heavy ball hanging off the front of you!

teejayem · 23/04/2015 12:46

I shouldn't have looked on the stats list, I don't want to be 7th :( one of my apps cheerfully reminded me today that I have 'Maybe less than a month to go!' and while I can't wait to not be in pain anymore, I am so not ready for this!!
Booming few weeks we have coming up tho, lots of JS babies.

Yeah, it's a funny feeling bat! I kept thinking I'd done myself a proper mischief! Mine went off about 20 weeks and I occasionally get them now while Tiny porky Tee is piling the pounds on.

Stupid prize for me this morning: Had nice lie in with cats, Went to get in shower thinking something not right, turned temp up on shower, no, not that, checked to see if window or doors were open as might be draught, no.. none of the above.
I'd left my boxer shorts on. Blush. This is what I've become. Showering fully clothed. Dick.

WilHarlot · 23/04/2015 12:47

It's not painful Bat unless you have hip/pelvic issues.

Good luck at physio La.

Can't find the garage key to get the double buggy. Rage.

WilHarlot · 23/04/2015 12:49

Tee no offence but you fucking numpty Grin Grin

teejayem · 23/04/2015 12:50

Tell me about it wil I'm basically too stupid to have a baby. That's what I've decided. I'm giving full custody to the cats. He can be raised like one of the pride.

DulcetMoans · 23/04/2015 13:33

I showered fully clothed once... I was off my face on cider though! Not sure you have that excuse tee! I think you are better off staying under the cat today!

What book you reading la?

I have a new favourite cleaning product that did wonders for my grouting wil, but it's for mouldy bathrooms so might not be suitable. It is one of the few things that it actually does what it says. I was so impressed!

splodge77 · 23/04/2015 13:50

its not pom pom time here yet. God I feel flippin enormous though - not helped by my mum going "i'm sure you werent that big last time, I was NEVER that big!" Most of it is probably ice cream and cake to be fair - I've been eating like a horse this past week.

Wondering now if this one's gonna be as late as DS was (9 days). Hope not! you've reminded me that I need a shower - didn't manage to fit one in before taking DS to nursery this morning. I'll try to remember to take me clothes off first!

gaggiagirl · 23/04/2015 13:55

Aw I cant access the stats but I always like to know who's next to pop. Is it you splodge?

Fattycow · 23/04/2015 15:40

Minimoo is due tomorrow, couldbeanyone is due the 26th, MrsNM and Splurge the 27th, Catsofa the 30th.

OP posts:
RhiannonElward · 23/04/2015 15:50

splodge I just misread your post and thought you'd said you didn't fit in the shower this morning. I hope it never gets to that stage for you. Tee I wouldn't worry, it's a way of doing your laundry while getting yourself clean, innovative is what I call it. Plus, if I remember correctly it can be hard to find underwear in the last trimester, land below the bump becomes impossible to monitor and is eventually left to rule itself and return to nature. Maybe that was just me though :)

LaLaLaaaa · 23/04/2015 16:44

Hello! I'm placing bets on mini next then splodge readies pom poms

Just back from Physio and have the answer to all my questions!

I do have SPD and it's result of my hip dysplasia, so I have exercises to help strengthen hips and new sleeping positions to let me sleep.

Heart palpitations are due to baby growing upwards and putting pressure on my organs, making me breathless and stressed, which increases heart rate.

My bump pain on top of bump that feels like sunburn has a name! It's called rib flare. Here I was thinking I'm going mad coz no one else here had it. It's due to my rib cage being pushed out by baby.

I don't have carpal tunnel, it's a ganglion.

Ta daaaaaah!

Oh and I got told that I should be finishing up work earlier than 28 weeks and should try to work from home 2 days a week from now til I finish.

I like having answers Grin I don't like not understanding things.

LaLaLaaaa · 23/04/2015 16:45

Tee meant in the kindest way you are a numpty!

Although I tried to phone someone with the TV remote last week

PixieChops · 23/04/2015 17:09

Glad you've got answers La!you should find the exercises should start to help Grin
Been two weeks now since me and OH dtd and he's just informed me to be prepared to be pounced on later.. Woo I'm on a promise!
Unfortunately after going round next door and being Sherlock Holmes I saw the front door had been had away with a screw driver, the house had been broken into, rang the police straight away who turned up within half an hour and have only just left about an hour ago as they've been doing forensics all day. My neighbours come back looking miffed to say the least but the good news is it looks the police have found the shit bag that has done it already and they have someone in custody!
Can't help feeling guilty that I didn't do more early on this morning though when I heard all the banging but just didn't think!
Grandad seems to be getting better, it's very odd, I feel this may be a flash in the pan. I appreciate everyone's comments and concern a unmumsy net hug for you all!
