Sorry about your car giving up arete. What an absolute pain in the bot. Good news you've managed to rope in SIL to do the lawn. I've been slack in the gardening stakes recently, although I did plant an apple tree the other day and boy did I feel it a bit later! dd loves watering the plants, might have to impose a ban soon before she drowns them!

This is why I leave home and work early before the rush hour. However I may not have a choice, but to ask someone next time to get their arse up so I can sit down Grin

Good news fatty re baby movement, such a relief.

I am now slightly confused re WC vaccine, not sure I ever had a vaccine or recall seeing it on my baby medicals (Which my mum kept for a while Smile, I was not born in the UK, might have to ask my Mum. Only concerned now if I'm given a booster jab on tuesday and its not effective. Instead of stressing, I will speak with nurse, bet they will have the real vaccine to hand.

I am going to be very discipline today and go to bed early, might help in getting through the day.

Thanks Broody
The only positive is I may actually get a decent car !
And here here to being slack in the gardening dept, currently awaiting DH to finish with his new shed so I can restore some order in back yard.
I have plans to spend a lot of time out there when lo arrives, if the great British weather permits Grin

Fattycow · 16/04/2015 17:03

I am having my dad over tomorrow to do my garden... Blush

Aretepetite · 16/04/2015 17:14

Needs must Fatty Wink

broodylicious · 16/04/2015 18:10

Yes I'm also wanting to spend a fair bit of time in our garden this summer arete. It's the one compromise we've had to make in moving house - our old garden was huge and not overlooked at all but this one is an odd shape, smaller and is overlooked - so I'm quite determined to make the most of it by making some changes. We've already added some French doors to the dining room and these will hopefully soon lead on to a decked area instead of a tatty old concrete patio. I want to get a shade sail to create a bit of shade for baby and toddler so they will still be able to play outside even when it's bright, hot sunshine.

zampa I am suffering from PGP and spoke to a midwife over the phone who told me to contact physio dept & explain antenatal dept had referred me and I was given an appointment within 2 weeks. I am Midlands based, not sure if this will help or not!

Hope everyone else is doing well. I am also going to get the WC jab as decided it was recommended for a reason and needles don't bother me, so no reason to avoid it Wink

8 weeks to go then start Mat leave - can not wait!

Fattycow · 16/04/2015 18:36

I am tired... Probably due to all the worrying earlier and then the relief. Emotions are exhausting!

NotPennysBoat · 16/04/2015 18:38

So much confusing information! You would think that as we are all only having the WC vacc to protect our babies NOT ourselves, that everyone gets the same and it passes to the baby just the same?

Zampa · 16/04/2015 18:51

Thanks Lost. I'm seeing the midwife on Monday so will raise then. Hope that you're not feeling too poorly with it.

Aretepetite · 16/04/2015 19:02

Sounds good Broody, we are in process of decking over a slabbed area too. I'm super excited to be having a summer baby - The garden is my area. Smile I would be found out there by older DC with my book and a glass of wine on a summer evening, avoiding the humdrum indoors Grin

smallgreenbanana · 16/04/2015 20:07

My London commute is wearing very thin, mainly due to the physical discomfort (actually pain) I now suffer sitting on the train for nearly 90 minutes. Luckily I already work from home 2 days, but I'm thinking I might need to go to 3 days.

On a happier note, saw the midwife today and she showed me how to feel where the head and bum are lying. It was lovely to feel my funny squirmer. Grin My iron levels are borderline though and I'm measuring 27cm at 28 weeks, but not too worried.

Decided on colours and some wall stickers for the nursery - just need to get on and clear it of boxes so we can get on with it!

smallgreenbanana · 16/04/2015 20:10

Oh and I passed the glucose challenge so no GTT for me Smile

jmojo · 16/04/2015 20:29

Good news small! I am just in the middle of doing the nursery! I want to finish it this weekend if I can! Smile

Fattycow · 16/04/2015 20:38

Nice one, small!

Lewaney3 · 16/04/2015 20:44

Hi ladies!

I see there is a lot to catch up on in this thread.. Just marking for later :)

Hope everyone and babies are well! I'm finally 25 weeks and following consultant appointment I've been told most likely the twins will arrive at 35/36 weeks but they won't let them go past 37 weeks... That's possibly ten weeks away! Scared but so excited at the same time! :)

LostSoulsForever · 16/04/2015 20:44

Not too bad thanks zampa. It was worse earlier on but I became more worried when I started getting pains in the bottom of my bump as I didn't know they were linked. Hope you manage to get yours sorted. I have a tubi-grip to use as a support when walking & exercises to do twice a day.

Aretepetite · 16/04/2015 21:40

Good news Small :)

Aretepetite · 16/04/2015 21:43

Flowers & Cake Lost & Zampa may it not get any worse ! X

MustBeLoopy390 · 16/04/2015 21:44

Brill news small!
Lost and Zampa hoping your pgp stays mild and doesn't get any worse, it's a nightmare to deal with Flowers

Aretepetite · 16/04/2015 21:44

Angry at horrible commuters/passengers also !

smallgreenbanana · 16/04/2015 23:49

Hi lewany exciting news about your twins!

Much sympathy lost and Zampa I've had it mildly from the start but largely ok. It's my back which is starting to go - couldn't get up from the couch at the midwife - rather embarrassing!

Lewaney3 · 17/04/2015 00:33

Thanks small lovely to hear about you being able to actually feel babies head and bum position!

My sympathies to you all doing the London commute!... Fortnightly visits to UCH remind me of how selfish people can become! Hats off to those doing it in rush hour :)

Also I like all the talk of wall stickers and nursery decorating... Is anyone decorating a section of their main bedroom for the babies?... We're planning on having our twins in with us for the first 9 months at least... So I'm tempted to decorate their "corner" if that makes sense!... But something temporary... Any ideas?

Also thanks ladies all the convo on here regarding WC has reminded me to book in for it!

smallgreenbanana · 17/04/2015 06:57

lewany the vinyl wall stickers we are getting claim they can be peeled off and reused, so you could consider a few of those (although I've got no first hand experience yet!). Cute animals and birds? Grin

Thepurplegiraffe · 17/04/2015 07:30

Lewaney my sister did that for hers and just used some removable wall stickers that came off pretty easily. They can be very cheap on Amazon.
