Thinking about you kitty. I will be having a cvs next week so good to hear that the procedure is not too bad.

Glitterball86 · 06/03/2015 15:58

Ahhh Mrsdos this is true :)

Sorry to hear you are feeling rubbish, I'm at the end of
My third week of work due to severe HG and whilst I do feel guilty as others have to pick up the already stretched workload (3 of us doing the work of 8 people) It is important to look after ourselves for the sake of our babies and I'm sure, once we have given birth, this will be a distant memory which we would all do again 1000 times over :) x

misssmilla1 · 06/03/2015 16:08

Was going to tell my parents this weekend, but can't decide whether to wait until this time next week when I'll have the results from the Harmony test back Confused

Also having to restrain myself from buying baby stuff in the Boden sale as I feel it's still a bit early; am going all soppy eyed at the prospect of 3 month old snowsuits...

SpamAnderson · 06/03/2015 16:35

mummy the girls were very happy! Showed them the body suit and they couldn't figure it out, thought it was ready for when we have a baby. Had to give them the scan photo to make it sink in :)

Toffeegirl39 · 06/03/2015 17:23

Hi All, I'm 15 weeks today and feeling a bit less tired- still in bed by 8.30 most nights though!!
Just wondered if anyone else is having odd nasal symptoms- when I blow my nose ( in the mornings it's awful) it is often bloody on the tissue, but not a nose bleed as such. Guess it's a minor thing, just wanted to check I'm not the only one!!

SpamAnderson · 06/03/2015 17:26

toffee my nose swelled up a few weeks back and bled so the whole nostril scanned up. It's apparently due to pregnancy hormones expanding the blood vessels :)

SpamAnderson · 06/03/2015 17:38

*scabbed not scanned :/

Stanway · 06/03/2015 18:13

Toffee, yes very congested nose over night and often small amount of blood in tissue. Apparently normal.

Snowflake15 · 06/03/2015 18:20

toffee I have the same

elio · 06/03/2015 18:49

Thank you for reporting how the CVS went kitty. Got told today that my bloods came back with 1:18 risk of downs..
So am booked to have CVS on Monday. Feel flattened as had just allowed myself to get a bit excited after the scan when the NT was low. On the plus side was really impressed with the lady that called from the hospital, she was utterly brilliant explaining things and generally really kind. Apprehensive about the results and nervous about the procedure, the only positive was that as the odds were so bad it made deciding to have the test simpler.;

Toffeegirl39 · 06/03/2015 19:23

Ah thank you! Don't recall this with previous pregnancies so good to hear it's normsl. One other thing .. I'm sure I felt movemenrs last week, but now they've stopped?? Not worried as such, but wonder if the uterus has moved 'up' so it's got more space now, hence I can't feel anything. Just my weird theory probably.

Mummyboo30 · 06/03/2015 19:54

I've got the congestion and slightly bleedy nose too. Not worrying though.
Spam that reaction sounds funny, I bet you laughed! :)
Elio and Kitty keeping everything crossed that your results come back clear.

Jessica32 · 07/03/2015 08:12

Toffee I've had the same since a couple of days after I found out at 4+2.

Elio and Kitty I'm thinking of you both and really hoping things turn out better than expected. I think you're both being remarkably brave.

Moffit · 07/03/2015 08:43

I'm not a regular poster, but I had my 12 week scan this week and it's made it feel all more real. After two previous losses, I feel as though I can start to get excited now! We decided against any 'big announcement', so we are just telling people as we see them or speak to them. My dates were spot on, so due date is confirmed as 15th September (however I will take this with a pinch of salt, as my daughter was over 5 weeks early)!

Sorry for the ladies who have had bad news or awaiting test results, you are very brave and you know there is tonnes of support on here if you need it!

GoooRooo · 07/03/2015 14:19

New bras arrived this morning. I've gone up a cup size and it's so nice to have ones that actually fit properly!

In other news, someone asked if I was pregnant. I'm only 10+6 and on the (very) chubby side so I'm surprised they could notice, even though I can feel my belly popping out now.

BeautyBoo · 07/03/2015 15:47

Glitterball my scan is the 23rd aswell, I'll be 13+1 then. It does feel like ages to wait which is why I booked a private one for yesterday!

BeautyBoo · 07/03/2015 15:55

Here's my little peanut Grin

GoooRooo I'm holding off for a bit before getting new bras but some days I just can't manage. I'm currently sat at work and desperate to undo mine. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, I don't wear bras at the weekend any more Grin

StrawberryCheese · 07/03/2015 16:00

Awww cute beautyboo

Guavasforbreakfast · 07/03/2015 16:27

Strawberry get bra extenders! Otherwise you end up buying so many bras in pregnancy, seems such a waste. I went between so many sizes through my last pregnancy and 18 months of breastfeeding, I cringe at the amount of money I must have spent so this time I'm making do with what I've got and bra extenders.

shinjuku09 · 07/03/2015 16:38

That's lovely beauty

Thinking of you both elio and kitty
