We're not going to find out. It.won't change anything we do.so will hold off and wait for the surprise!

Went to pre-natal fitness last night and loved it. Mix of aerobics, stretching and relaxation. Very nice!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 18/03/2015 06:26

Well, that was interesting. Still didn't get enough sleep. Still woke up every four hours. But had some 'interesting' dreams last night. If I recall Friends correctly that's a thing, right! Wink

THEworrywart · 18/03/2015 06:48

Good luck to everyone having scans today!

Really sick of crappy sleep now and waking up with headaches! It would be nice to feel refreshed one morning.

stolemyusername · 18/03/2015 07:06

I think we might find out this time

GoooRooo · 18/03/2015 07:27

FINALLY 12 week scan day today!

Treaclepie19 · 18/03/2015 07:38

Me too Goo, hope all is well for you today.

Bumpkin I train vets to use X-ray equipment as part of my job, I have frequently walked in to see pregnant vets having a scan of their bumps!

We are going to find out, but last time they were 95% girl and she'd seen girl parts and we had a boy..

Snowflake15 · 18/03/2015 07:58

Good luck Gooo and treacle it's so exciting

GoooRooo · 18/03/2015 08:31

You too Treacle! Look forward to the scan pictures later

Jessica32 · 18/03/2015 08:37

Good luck Goo and Treacle enjoy it!

Shinjuku it was the Park Hyatt I stayed in from Lost in Translation and it was amazing. I don't think one's experienced amazing service until you've visited Japan. I loved it too.

amusville · 18/03/2015 08:46

I work in an x-ray dept too so having scans every few weeks because I can. Decided i want to know the sex incase I find out by accident anyway.

monkeymoonpig · 18/03/2015 08:51

Woke up this morning and for first time quite interested to know sex of babba.....simply to help DS understand easier. He's not too impressed by the whole idea at the moment so wonder if we said "little brother" / "little sister" it may make more sense to him than just the abstract word of "baby". Will have a ponder and maybe see how 20wk scan goes, here we have to have a whole extra scan for finding out sex (at a cost)

Whatabout · 18/03/2015 09:50

Amusville I'm a radiographer, every department I've worked in hasn't allowed staff additional scanning for various reasons so lucky you!

THEworrywart · 18/03/2015 09:54

Whatabout - my hospital allows staff to have ultrasounds whilst in work but it's logged in a book how often.

amusville · 18/03/2015 10:06

That's ashame. U/S is the only thing I don't do but the girls are very good and will scan whenever you want. Otherwise I would just do it myself :) didn't get anything before my 12 week though just to be sure.

sauvblanc21 · 18/03/2015 10:12

Very excited for you Gooo and treacle! Smile

I haven't made it into work yet today - booo. My 4.30pm bedtime yday did nothing to help, woke up feeling like shiiiiiiite! I thought this morning sickness was supposed to skip off into the sunset after week 12, grrr. Xx

Cornberry · 18/03/2015 10:24

I'm thinking I might find out because having been so so sick the whole time my overwhelming feeling is of being ill rather than pregnant, so finding out might make me feel more connected to the pregnancy I hope. Does that sound weird?

sauvblanc21 · 18/03/2015 10:30

Not at all weird Corn, totally understand your thinking - esp today! Even though I don't want to find out, I'm considering forking out for a 16 week scan just to see the little peanut again! But hopefully hubbo will be able to talk some sense into me! Xx

ShootTheMoon · 18/03/2015 10:31

argh, my friend is in labour with #2 and I haven't heard anything since midnight! She had a shocker with #1 and was aiming for a home water birth this time - I'm so hoping things are going well! It's making it all very really all of a sudden.

In other news - 14 weeks tomorrow and I'm certain I just felt the first few flutterings. I've had several in the last two weeks but it's pretty familiar and distinctive and I'm actually sitting still this morning and feeling the odd kick down low, just on the left. I didn't feel much at all until well after 20 weeks with #1 because I had an anterior placenta - here's hoping this one is posterior! Makes it much easier to feel kicks and wriggles, even in the last trimester.

Treaclepie19 · 18/03/2015 11:36

All is fine with little one!
Dated ahead (which is odd!) So due date is now 19th September :) (not DH'S birthday anymore) 13+4 today
Nuchal was 2.1, had all my blood tests and everything. Consultant says I can be midwife led.
Little one was very fidgety and upside down, they kept sitting up straight and headbutting me :p 20 week scan is on the 11th May.
Eek :D

That's great Treacle.

Yes I definitely know what you mean Cornberry. Am desperate to have some sort of bump to actually feel pregnant not just very ill!

Sooo jealous Jessica! That hotel looks amazing!

THEworrywart · 18/03/2015 12:09

Seriously need an energy burst I've had to get back in bed I'm drained and lightheaded this can't last the entire pregnancy surely Sad

sauvblanc21 · 18/03/2015 12:31

Great news treacle Grin xxx

lovesmycake · 18/03/2015 12:47
