No this is my second, DD is 14 months. I think there are a few people on the thread due on the 7th Smile.

Number3cometome · 28/01/2015 09:17

So the weekend was great, didn't feel sick, haven't been sick for a week and no nausea, just the usual hunger pangs.

Yesterday I felt a bit iffy, headache and tired.

Today I feel crap again! Had a bad night's sleep, feel so tired, headache and nausea again.

Just feeling sorry for myself really.

I'm waiting for baby to kick me this morning and remind me that I am being a drama queen Confused

Stinkylinky · 28/01/2015 09:23

Is everyone feeling kicks and baby moving?

I felt a definite movement after swimming last week but not a lot since. The midwife did say baby is sitting quite far back, will this make a difference to what I am able to feel?

Fleurchamp · 28/01/2015 09:28

I have felt nothing at all!!! 15+2 now

My baby bible book says I should feel movement 18-20 weeks and so I am ignoring you lot and sticking by that Grin

I have an appointment with a consultant next week about my fibroid. I assume I will have another scan, what do you think? DH is humming and hawing about coming with me (clearly he is sooo important at work that he can't have a couple of hours off Hmm) but I would feel a bit odd if I had a scan and he wasn't there. I think if I insist and there is no scan he will be a bit annoyed!

Number3cometome · 28/01/2015 09:38

Fleur Maybe just leave him to come to the 20 week scan?

I have my consultant appointment on Monday, I did want OH to come with me as I have had bad pregnancies before so wanted him to be aware (it's his first child) but he isn't coming. He is coming to the 20 week scan though (he missed the 12 week one as was on a school trip)

Don't worry about not feeling anything - with DC1 I didn't feel a thing until 20 weeks.

I felt this one early as I know what it feels like, otherwise you probably wouldn't know it was movement.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 28/01/2015 09:44

Fleur I had an emergency scan a few weeks ago due to bleeding and DH wasn't there as he was looking after DD. He planned to be at the hospital with DD in case I needed him but I ended up sitting waiting for 3 hours so he had to take her home for lunch/a nap. It was fine, a bit strange to be there on my own but generally ok. If he comes to this one will he then struggle to get time off for the 20 week scan? I think id prefer to have DH there for the 20 week one if possible. Although if you're feeling particularly anxious about the appt then insist he is there!

I've had a few fluttery movements but they're not at all regular. I probably wouldn't have noticed if I didn't already know what it felt like from DD.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 28/01/2015 09:48

Number3 I feel exactly the same, headachey and nauseous and just generally ill. So sick of it!

TouchPauseEngage · 28/01/2015 10:30

18 weeks today and I'm still not convinced I've felt anything at all. if I have it's very very gentle! Funnily enough I've got my PGP belt on this morning and its squeezing my lower stomach and I think I can feel something moving but it could be my 5am breakfast moving about!

luckythirteen · 28/01/2015 10:51

I'm not feeling any definite movements yet (17+5). I really hope to soon and am on the lookout constantly, but both babies have an anterior placenta, so I think that'll be muffling any movements. Anyone else got an anterior placenta and waiting to feel movement?

Thepurplegiraffe · 28/01/2015 10:56

Still feeling really crap here too, not sure when it is going to let up.

Is anyone else not on their first not feeling movements yet? Still nothing here since 13 weeks (16+4 now) and getting increasingly anxious.

naty1 · 28/01/2015 11:11

Im not i dont think. Mw was listening to hb yesterday and said 1 noise was a kick- i couldnt feel it.
I had anterior placenta last time and didnt feel anything till over 20w.

Really hope its not anterior this time as DD was Op and apparently thats more common with anterior :(

Number3cometome · 28/01/2015 11:15

How do you know if your placenta is anterior? Did they tell you at the scan?

At my 12 week scan baby was just facing the wrong way!

Threeplus1 · 28/01/2015 11:29

For those not feeling movement yet, don't worry! I'm on dc4 and have only just started feeling kicks in the last week (I'm now 16+4), but was starting to feel anxious as so many first timers on here were talking about flutters from so early. Same with the bumps appearing. Mines only just started to appear but some were saying they had bumps way before 12 weeks even.

Everyone and every pregnancy is different

naty1 · 28/01/2015 11:32

With Dd they said at 20w scan when i said id had no movement. Mw looked on my notes from 12w scan with this dc yeaterday but it doesnt say anything about placenta.

Fleurchamp · 28/01/2015 11:44

DH and I have the day off for our 20week scan (it's our 10 year anniversary Grin) so no problem there.

I have a definite bump!

sarkymare · 28/01/2015 11:45

Good afternoon ladies. Remember me?

Just dropping by as I've been wondering how you have all got on. It seems like many of you are at the movement stage. Exciting!!

I hope to be re-joining you in the pregnancy club soon. 5 days and I can test!

Best wishes all. Sarky x

SophieBarringtonWard · 28/01/2015 11:57

purple I didn't feel movement with DC2 until around 18-19 weeks, later than with my first. I think I may have felt movement in the past few days (will be 18w on Friday) but have decided not to worry until I'm over 20w!

Good luck & best wishes sarky

Stinkylinky · 28/01/2015 12:24

Sending you lots of positive vibes and well wishes Sarky Smile

broodylicious · 28/01/2015 12:56

Aaah hi sarky! How you've been? Really hope you will get your bfp soon xx

broodylicious · 28/01/2015 13:08

Re movement - I possibly could've felt something (not bubbles, more squirmy) but nothing as definite as a kick yet. I know people say if you're on the second or subsequent pg, you feel it earlier but for once, I'm not panicking about it - one of my friends is expecting twins and she only just started to feel movement a few days after her 20 week scan. My little apple - which is how big bubba is today apparently - will show up when they're good and ready.

sarkymare · 28/01/2015 13:19

Thanks all. I am well broody I'm driving my self bloomin insane waiting for Monday though! I'm so impatient! This will be out first month of trying again. We have DTD a lot during ovulation so fingers crossed!

How is everyone?

Jenbird5891 · 28/01/2015 13:29

Hi everyone. I'm having a grumpy day today! Didn't sleep well last night so really tired and everyone at work getting on my nerves big time!! I'm annoyed as bought duo harmony wedge pillow and been trying to sleep with it to stop me going on my back but it's useless! Just sent ranty email to try get a refund and am gonna buy another one later!! Dream genii anyone? Any other suggestions to help sleep on my side? Don't want to spend loads but am worried I keep ending up on my back!! Also slightly grid question but feel I can ask you here! 16 week midwife apt is in the afternoon and need to take urine sample. Do I need to take early morning one and save it for her in my handbag at work??! Or can I do a ' fresh' one when I get there!! God I sound like a weirdo! Just worried that I haven't been asked for one at all yet not even at booking and I know I'm higher risk for pre-eclampsia due to twins!
Thanks ladies xx

BadIdeaBear · 28/01/2015 13:31

Hey sarky, great to see you! And fx on the test!

Definitely more movements today for me too, but then I've had squirms for a couple of weeks. Bit worried about this maybe meaning a really kicky baby later!

16+3
