Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

I'm the same deeply!
Thing is I have no interest in healthy food. The thought makes me nauseous.

nutelladipper · 12/01/2015 22:11

Hi all,
Gosh you can all chat! I've not read back yet.
I'm having a tough time trying to stop being haunted by my previous nightmare births. I've written another post about it yo get some other thoughts but I'm not sleeping at night which is not helping the exhaustion!
Looking forward to seeing mw next week so I can talk through my anxiety.
X

Mummyboo30 · 12/01/2015 23:40

Sorry to hear that nutella, I've not read through your post about the trauma, but can relate somewhat to the anxiety about having another nightmare birth. Did you have a postnatal discussion with the hospital to work through how you felt about the births?

I have been feeling apprehensive about this one after my last as well, so can understand where you're coming from.
I hope you manage to switch off the actual nightmares soon, and get some well deserved sleep. Flowers

TinyPawz · 13/01/2015 00:49

Deeply I had a bit of constipation the other, quite uncomfortable. Completely unrelated I had bean on toast for lunch. Well, sorry if tmi, but my insides left me. Moral of the story, I recommend beans.

NatalieBee · 13/01/2015 01:23

Oh god Tiny I had beans yesterday and had THE worst trapped wind ever Confused I thought I was dieing walking around tesco lol!!

I swear I find something new to concern myself about everyday! Im a size 14 and now paranoid I won't have a bump! Bit early for me to be concerning myself with that lol! Smile

Sorry your beans didn't have the same effect as mine.

Size 14 you will definitely have a bump, don't worry. When I had dd I was a good 18 and bump was fairly obvious. This time I'm not so sure. Size 22 here. As long as baby as happy and healthy don't really mind if bump isn't visible. That said, I've been driving myself a little batty looking for plus size over bump boot cut jeans. I swear they are the holy grail.

Maths88 · 13/01/2015 04:51

This thread moves so fast!

I'm quite an anxious person too treacle - that may already be quite apparent to some on this thread - and I keep stupidly googling statistics that certainly don't calm me!

I have G cup breasts too so have no idea what's going to happen to them during pregnancy?! Roughly when should we be moving to wireless bras?

On a positive note I just used my last cb digi and got 3+!!!! I am nearly 6 weeks by my dates but I'm still so ecstatic that its moved up again!!!

mrsatkinson · 13/01/2015 06:15

I keep thinking my symptoms aren't symptoms! I too am bloated to hell, and at my booking in appointment, midwife said even though I'm not quite 5 weeks (tomorrow!!!) you store fat deposits as soon as you become pregnant so weight gain early in is normal. I'd kick started my post christmas diet before finding out!
I'm also knackered. going to bed at about 9 pm.
and i'm really thirsty on a night and getting up throughout which isn't like me. strange how something so tiny can do so much. Smile

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/01/2015 06:29

Glad I'm not the only one who's REALLY thirsty! I think my boobs are looking bigger as well.
I'm exhausted at the moment but then can't sleep properly. I get too hot or thirsty and wake up and DH's snoring makes it difficult to get back to sleep!
I'm really not the best teacher at the moment Hmm

brickiemum2 · 13/01/2015 07:15

I actually cried last night at my giant beer belly. I wasn't slim before (size 12 but very wobbly lol) but I could hold it in and look ok. Now it just sticks out and jiggles about. I've even caught both of my kids looking at it quizzically and my 5 year old keeps trying to poke it Sad

ShootTheMoon · 13/01/2015 07:30

Good morning ladies and welcome elio!

I had my first good night's sleep in ages - no insomnia, no waking up dreadfully thirsty and no toddler waking me up! I feel like an actual humanGrin

I too am unexpectedly thirsty. And definitely bloated. Also very tired most of the time (which could just be the sleep thing, or how ill I have been this winter).

Struggling to get of bed though!

Treaclepie19 · 13/01/2015 07:40

I'm also paranoid I won't have a bump. I'm a size 16 :/
Although I'm getting really bloated in the evenings and not wanting to eat as much. I'm keeping to what I should be eating in a day but I've already lost 2 lb... is that ok?

Another one here who is incredibly thirsty and don't want to get out of bed as I feel like I've been hit with a truck!

DeladionInch · 13/01/2015 07:42

mine didn't change last time, i just got a couple of cheap primarni ones. I'm another with saggy greying nursing bras, they got a bit battered over 15month lol. hoping my mum might treat me again Wink

spamanderson · 13/01/2015 08:09

treacle I suffer with (medicated) anxiety. I've stopped taking my tabs as there are risks to the baby. I'm doing better without them that I normally do. If I ever miss a day of them, I know all about it. Maybe because I've got a baby in there, I'm coping better? I can feel the worry creeping in but am keing it at bay at the moment.... Oh and at size 16 you'll definiteky have a bump :)
I thought the tiredness had hit me a couple if days ago.... I was wrong! It's really hit me this morning, I feel like a zombie :( going to ha e to attempt a nap today inbetween putting cakes in!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/01/2015 08:14

Yup, thirsty, bloated, sore boobs (also a size 16)! I have never felt so attractive! Wink

Treaclepie19 · 13/01/2015 08:19

Haha ladies I have never felt less attractive. I'm on ppa this morning and thank goodness as I have an upset stomach, nausea and generally look terrible!
My boobs aren't sore though :(

Glad to hear you're doing well spam :)

duckbilled · 13/01/2015 08:38

Morning everyone! I am another feeling bloated, I actually feel like violet in Charlie in the chocolate factory this morning lol!
I am taking dd to the docs tomorrow and will make an appointment with the GP to get the ball rolling....it feels more real now!

nutelladipper · 13/01/2015 09:06

thanks mummuboo i didn't speak with anyone after it and i wish i had more so my first birth with my son. After a bad induction and awful assisted delivery i was determined the birth of my dd would be better but again an assisted delivery and tears going the oppositve way to the first birth so i look like a road map down below as two tears and two episiotomies aren't pretty - literally. I kind of feel this time i don't have that determination. I feel like its inevitable i will tear badly as the current scars must surely be weak points. I worry about permanent damage.

Anyway i wont go on as i don't want to put the fear of god into others - sorry. its good to off load though.

i'm a size 18 and was a 16 & 18 with my first 2 and had a definate bump so don't worry about that ladies.

x

missthebubbles · 13/01/2015 09:09

Warm welcome to new faces Smile!
DS2 just started at nursery last month. Yesterday I went to pick him up and found him rummaging through the bin eating dirty tissues and waste food. They said they had told him not to earlier in the day Hmm, he's 11 months ffs!
Spending today off work looking for a new nursery grr.
I never go for non wired bras, cake do some quite good wired maternity bras. Also you can buy bra extenders on Amazon, life saving and only cost a couple of £!
Thanks llama for the spreadsheet! I don't have access to a computer outside work right now and would be eternally grateful if anyone can be arsed to update my stats please.
Due 03/09/15
Booking app 20/01/15

Mummyboo30 · 13/01/2015 09:17

Has anyone had any particular cravings yet? I've not had lots (more aversions that cravings) but can drink orange juice like its water at the moment!

ditzzy · 13/01/2015 09:25

Morning everyone! Just checking in before everyone forgets I'm here (this thread moves so fast! It's taken me half an hour to catch up just from last night...) although being on the lovely spreadsheet should give us half a chance of remembering people.

I need to call my midwife today - the GP said they'd send me a letter from the GP referral but the receptionist took me aside and gave me a number to call. Grin I was just too scared to ring it last week as I was still in disbelief that I'd still be here by now!

I think I need to go bra shopping at the weekend and my current ones are barely containing me any more... Other than that, symptoms are pretty ok at the moment, all the stretchy crampy feelings have calmed down at last so I'm still exhausted but at least able to sleep again Smile

Hi! To all the new ladies - it's lovely to see so many of us! Even though it does get confusing on here...

lovesmycake · 13/01/2015 09:37

I'm wondering how long it's going to be before someone catches me throwing up at work Confused I really would like to keep it too myself unless something goes wrong but will just have to see I suppose.

mummyboo last night just before I went to sleep I had a really strong craving for japanese rice crackers (well first of all I craved dry uncooked noodles)
