Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

Omfg, I'm in work and went to put my uniform on and can hardly do up my zip. How am I going to hide this until 12 weeks? I'm only almost 5 weeks lol

TerrysNo3 · 12/01/2015 12:12

snappy I'm so so sorry, I had av ectopic in July and it is horrible so please take care of yourself and take time to heal. I have just conceived again after 5 months so it can happen with just one tube. Thanks Thanks

Moffit · 12/01/2015 12:14

So sorry for your sad news snappy!

lovesmycake · 12/01/2015 12:14

Flowers snappy

Moffit · 12/01/2015 12:20

I am 4+6 today and still showing no symptoms?! Except I am very tired!! Is it right, that most symptoms dont kick in until aroud 7 weeks?

I think I'm very paranoid following my mmc last May that no symptoms are bad news. I've had some stretching, almost period type pains, but after 5 tests, they are all still positive (poas-aholic.....me?). Why do the first few weeks go so slow? I'm away on business from tomorrow until the end of the week, but I agreed with my DH that if all is still well next week, I will book it with the doctor and then we will book a private scan for 8 weeks, hopefully that will make the time pass quicker!

DeladionInch · 12/01/2015 12:32

Thanks snappy

5 weeks (possibly 6 due to actual conception dates? Roll on 12 week scan!) and the background nausea has hit. Thank fuck for it being a nursery morning Hmm

My tip for morning sickness is plenty of fluids - water, squash, tea - at least that way if stuff does decide to reappear the path is smoothed iyswim Wink

NordicDreamer · 12/01/2015 12:34

Oh no snappy poor you Flowers hope you recover quickly

spamanderson · 12/01/2015 12:44

So sorry to hear that snappy

brickie I'm the same :/ my massive duvet like coat is getting stretched on my belly when there used to be a tonne of room :/ I had a proper obvious bump at 10 weeks with dd1 so my hopes of hiding it from certain family members until at least 16 weeks is looking less and less likely :/

moffit my only symptom with dd1 until about 8 weeks, was tiredness and a funny taste in my mouth. With dd2 all I had was the Metallic taste at 5 weeks. All people and all pregnancies are different. Mine started at 6dpo this time which shouldn't be possible but I had the acid and nausea plus really sore boobs. I really wouldn't worry! I had basically nothing with my last 2 pregnancies, was sick max of twice with dd1 and once with dd2, that was it. No sore boobs, no really morning sickness, no cravings nothing and they were perfectly happy healthy babies :)

threeberries · 12/01/2015 13:09

Thanks snappy

Moffit · 12/01/2015 13:48

Thanks Spam! It's so worrying in these early days, especially when you have suffered loses before! Glad to know I have you lovely ladies to reassure me until the scan!

bonzo77 · 12/01/2015 13:48

My sympathy and sorrow for those on this thread who have had losses, in this pregnancy and in previous ones. It's a very hard place to be.

I'm 37 and this is my 4th pregnancy, I have 2 DSs and had a MMC inbetween. We tried for about 16 months this time, and can hardly believe it's happened: DH certainly is a bit Shock. Bit nervous as no significant morning sickness, which was a huge feature of the first trimesters with both my boys, but non- existent with the MMC. The timings not that good, as DS2 was born at 35 weeks, and we have a (UK) holiday booked for around that time.

LittleSesameSeed · 12/01/2015 14:13

So sorry to hear your news snappy x

brickiemum2 · 12/01/2015 14:16

TinyPawz · 12/01/2015 14:25

Flowers Snappy. Look after yourself.

Things like this certainly puts my situation into perspective.

Maths88 · 12/01/2015 16:00

I've had no more pains and no blood so I'm hoping that means everything is ok? Do you think I should contact my doctor still?

Gonna do my digi in the morning and as long as it still says 2-3 or had gone up to 3+ I'll be happy. Booked a scan for the 29th - I think the wait is going to kill me but should be 8 weeks then if my dates are correct so seems a good time to have a scan.

Maths88 · 12/01/2015 16:00

booboobeedoo11 · 12/01/2015 16:02

Kittykitty05 · 12/01/2015 16:23

So my nearest hospital called today to say sorry, they can't fit me in for an early scan for a few weeks! Rang the next nearest after work and surprise! They'd finished for the day!!!! Rahhhh

Ktdnn83 · 12/01/2015 17:04

Good evening ladies !!!!! So .... I'm due sept currenty 4 weeks .... Cramping and gassy.. Extremely hormonal already! Luckily for me I have a very patient partner , not sure how long for. Would love the cramping to stop ... Makes me paranoid with worry ! Anybody else suffering with bad cramping ? Xx

butterflycats · 12/01/2015 17:40

I am ktdnn83 got a scan tomorrow as I had some bleeding on Saturday... Very nervous xx

spamanderson · 12/01/2015 17:47

Oh boo kitty :(
Had my drs appointment today (rather useless Dr, he seems very nervous rather than just not caring the like most!) thankfully his test came up positive. And my blood pressure is perfect which always seems to surprise HCPs, I think because I'm so overweight! He makes me due on 10th September but I'm sure it's 14th September. I'll just use my date until the scan dates come up :) midwife appointment is booked for 2nd February :D got to go on my own this time as DHs work can't let him have a half day or anything as the other person his level has booked every mon and tues off for like the next 3 months :/
