Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

I'm 4 weeks 5 days x

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 12/01/2015 06:33

Totally normal mrs - don't worry. Everyone is very different.

With DS1 i became really sick almost overnight at 6 weeks, no symptoms until then. This time round I'm getting waves of nausea from 4wks so am petrified I'm going to be that sick again Sad

brickiemum2 · 12/01/2015 07:15

Did a test yesterday afternoon that was a decently strong positive. Got up this morning and thought I would just do the other one in the pack with fmu. The line is quite visibly paler. This is what happened before my last mc.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 12/01/2015 07:20

Just got my BFP! EDD 18th September. Bit scared as this is first positive since my MMC in December 2013.

SomewhereovertheRainbow02 · 12/01/2015 07:25

Where they different brands of tests Brickie? that can explain it if one is more sensitive than the other.
I'm a bit in panic mode myself. had a bit of pink spotting on the loo roll yesterday. nothing since but praying it's just some kind of implantation and I don't get anymore.
feeling very tired and a bit nauseas thus morning. Would love the day off work Sad

TerrysNo3 · 12/01/2015 07:55

mrsatkinson I'm also 4 and a half weeks and my only symptom is sensitive breasts so far. I wrote about my pregnancy with DD from the beginning so I read back that I didn't get any other symptoms until 7 weeks. Let's enjoy it while we can Smile

Maths keeping my fx that the cramping is just your body making room.

GinFace how are you feeling? When are you getting another scan?

Welcome everyone new Grin

TheMidnightHour · 12/01/2015 07:57

Morning all!
Tiny I'm so sorry to hear about your P's extracuriculars. I'm not suggesting you should or have to talk to him, but if you do choose to, perhaps to discuss child support or access, it might be worth having a third party present. Relate are very good, and get you in for a first session PDQ.

Reading all the POAS stories is making me worry a bit. I did a cheapy about 4 days after AF was due, then realised it had expired! (Peril of TTC for so long.) Did another from the same batch, then nipped out and bought a good one to do with FMU. I'm not clear - would POAS show a problem, if one was developing? I thought hormones stayed washing around for a while after, from one of the TTC threads I was on.

Mummyboo30 · 12/01/2015 08:02

tiny sorry to hear that, you definitely shouldn't be feeling embarrassed, it's absolutely not a reflection on you.
Brickie I hope everything turns out ok. It could be just a dodgy test.

My symptoms are still minimal and im 6+4, I have the odd tender boob and pulling pains in the tummy. Oh and the spots... I look like a Dominos special! Blush

spamanderson · 12/01/2015 08:16

5 weeks today :D seeing the dr today to 'confirm' as obviously we couldn't possibly be able to tell for ourselves and book in with the midwife :/ drank loads of tea yesterday so I'm sure the Dr will be impressed with my fmu which closely resembles undiluted orange squash :/
My boi a have been really sore, got too big for my bra so I've stick on my old falling apart one that the underwire came out if, oh the comfort, I may look like I have saggy boobs but damn I'm comfy ha ha!
Feeling rather nauseas again this morning though which is good and bad I suppose!

TinyPawz · 12/01/2015 09:05

Had a very strange symptom last night. A pressure or full feeling in my tummy. Anyone had anything similar?

Only real symptoms I've had is exhaustion and aching boobs. Still waiting on booking in appointment. Wish I could fast forward this it.

TinyPawz · 12/01/2015 09:25

*bit

brickiemum2 · 12/01/2015 09:53

It was the same brand of test rainbow (is that what we're shortening yours to??) But I now kinda think I flooded it a bit as I did it mid stream rather than collected fmu. I'm sure I held it in for about 6 secs when the pack says 2-3 secs. Looking at it the pos line is much darker at the edges than in the middle.
Happy 5 weeks spam hope you're docs appt goes ok.
Only symptoms I've currently got are a 4 day headache (had constant headache/migraine with both of my kids) and constipation Blush the joys eh?
Welcome Donna

lovesmycake · 12/01/2015 10:15

Tiny sorry to hear about everything you have going on, FWIW you sound like your being amazingly strong. I have had that full feeling though for me it was connected to the dreaded pregnancy constipation!

ginface I hope this week goes quickly for you.

Well I am 7+1 today and have been suffering from sickness for about a week I'd forgotten how bad it was, does anyone have any recommendations for what to eat when you don't feel like eating anything?

NordicDreamer · 12/01/2015 10:38

Hi everyone! Haven't posted for a while and need to read back. Thank you Loves for the Norway specific advice :)
I'm 7 weeks today and feeling rotten. Pushed through last week but I gave up and just had to leave work before lunch today. Pleaded flu symptoms! I don't want to tell them yet...I'm feeling so sick and exhausted, I just want to be lying down in bed Confused
Loves I'm eating a lot of grapes. Especially for breakfast it's the only thing I can face. And ryvita with butter! If I can eat something every couple of hours it seems more manageable. What are you able to eat? Feel like I have the worst hangover and need to be sick...but never actually am! Urghhhh!

TerrysNo3 · 12/01/2015 10:42

see Mrsatkinson let's be grateful for the lack of sickness!! Grin

But for those that have it, it's a great sign so enjoy it Grin Grin

I have made a terrible mistake today... I am wearing a very thin bra and my nipples feel like ice and I'm at work so I can't even cup them to make them feel better. Blush Ouch

lovesmycake · 12/01/2015 10:51

Things I'm eating - anything salty or pickled I'm off anything to garlicky and apart from that it changes hour to hour right now I feel like my life won't be complete unless I eat a subway sandwich!?

Hope you survived the hurricane ok nordicdreamer we had it pretty bad out here!

threeberries · 12/01/2015 11:03

Morning everyone sorry to read about everyone that are having a hard time.
I am currently feeling really rough and trying to decide what might help. subway sounds like a fab idea!

threeberries · 12/01/2015 11:04

Although from past pregnancies less of a good idea when it makes a reappearance, might have to stick to toastSad

NordicDreamer · 12/01/2015 11:15

Serious maccy d's craving here! Survived hurricane thanks loves, good excuse to stay put on the sofa all weekend Wink
Awww Terrys I'm laughing my head off at your thin bra/sore nips comment!! Ouch!! Poor you!

NatalieBee · 12/01/2015 11:30

Oh my word Nordic, Maccys sounds amazing.

Thank goodness I'm on a late shift today! I am laying in bed trying not to vomit Hmm the only way the sickness eases even slightly is if I'm laying flat..tmorrow will be fun, being a nurse in early pregnancy is a killer Shock

How's everyone else feeling today? I have my booking in appointment after work tmorrow afternoon. Wooo Grin

GinFace · 12/01/2015 11:48

Ha ha terrys that's my big preggy thing, very easily erected nipples :/ super sensitive to the cold, had a top on and a coat as thick as a duvet in the supermarket and my nipples were poking through my coat :/ I remember my manager giving me a very strange look as I sat at my desk rubbing my nipples. DH worked there too and had a giggle as said that I had erect nipples he he.
loves I'm eating everything drenched in balsamic vinegar nom nom nom. Had a panic earlier when I could find the bottle! DH had stuck it in the fridge :/
Weeks drs in less than 4 hours. Why am I excited?! He's not going to tell me anything new.... But still! My stomach is very tender, wondering if that'll concern him...

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 12/01/2015 12:07

ShootTheMoon · 12/01/2015 12:08
