Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

Ignore me. That matches :p

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 18:46

Don't shoot the messenger ;) he he, saying that I did get 3+ on my CB digi when I tested with dd2. I took that as 5 weeks then at scan I was put back 2 or 3 days so guess it can come up earlier :) I'm going to do one tomorrow and hope for 3+ but if it doesn't come up, now I know the levels, I won't panic, just leave it a week and test again. Saying that, there's no way my dates can be wrong by more than day as DH and I have only DTD 5 times since he became fertile again. I shall punch the sonographer if they dare try to put me back again ;)

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 18:49

Hehe fingers crossed for your 3+ spam :)

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 18:50

Ha a treacle here is the time we always have an excuse for any wrong words, it's baby brain and I wish I could say it gets better :/ Im so much worse this time than I ever was with the other 2 ??

Kittykitty05 · 11/01/2015 19:15

Getting frustrated now...saw doctor two weeks ago and she said she will arrange early scan due to previous mmc's but heard nothing, and as i'm about 7 weeks should have booking in app at 8 weeks but not heard back from mw in over two weeks. Is this just laid back, or cause to start jumping up and down?

Also, what does frer stand for?

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 19:22

Hehe definite baby brain spam!!!
Full on nausea tonight too.

kitty I'd be straight on the phone!
Frer is first response early result test.

TinyPawz · 11/01/2015 20:07

I'm fine. Trying my best to ignore text messages and phone calls from himself. He thinks he can talk me round. Boy, does he have another think coming. I've not told anyone in rl. Too embarrassed that I am in the situation again. I think I'm destined to be on my own. The men I seem to pick turn out to be arseholes.

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 20:09

kitty you're very patient, I would have been jumping up and down after a week or more like 2 days as I'm notoriously impatient! definitely get on the phone in the morning!

GinFace · 11/01/2015 20:13

Tiny don't you dare be embarrassed. You have not done this to yourself. He's done it to you. You have NOTHING to be embarrassed about.

Telling someone in RL might be hard to start with, but having someone to talk it through with will give you that support you need at the moment. Thanks

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 20:14

Oh Tiny :( make sure that any talking you do do is on your terms, if you don't want to talk, you don't have to. Just because more than 1 guy has treated you badly doesn't say anything about you, it says a lot about them. Concentrate on yourself and your baby, bet you when you're totally happy on your own, your perfect man will appear. I had a few rocky relationships, 1 being pretty violent, got out of it, was finally well away being single, never been happier, then DH rocked up :)

Dailylurker · 11/01/2015 20:14

Kitty - I called the EPAU myself and self referred for a early scan, explained why I needed one and they booked me in for 2 days later, is that an option? xx

misskatamari · 11/01/2015 20:16

That's rubbis kitty! Definitely get on the phone and start mithering them!

I'm a total poas addict here too. I dread to think how much I've spent. Especially as my first dating digi one didn't work as I skim read the instructions grrrrr. I like to think I'm done with them now but I highly doubt it. It would be good to do one in a couple of weeks (yeah right, next week I'm sure!) and see the week number increasing :D

Think I might have had some nausea today, hard to tell as I had a shed load of anxiety, which was horrible, so hard to know if it was just a symptom of that. Damn hormones. I've had anxiety in the past but usually manage quite well but today was awful. Thankfully I had a warm bath and a nap and that seems to have set me right. Dd is finally in bed too so I think some herbal tea and telly is in order before I head to bed myself!

I hope everyone has had a good weekend. And good luck at work tomorrow those of you who are suffering the dreaded pregnancy symptoms. I've got my sea bands at the ready, and my bracelet which covers the one not hidden by my watch. Ugh I couldn't even look at it until recently without vivid nausea flashbacks from my first pregnancy.

For anyone who is hit bad by it, I found acupuncture a big help last time. It didn't get rid of it but it helped me cope better (and not stab the next person who asked me if I'd tired flipping ginger biscuits!)

Dailylurker · 11/01/2015 21:01

I've never suffered 'morning sickness' in any of my pregnancies but this time I keep having waves pass over me. I seem to have worked out that it happens more when I'm absolutely knackered so I'm going to spend this week testing my theory and having a nap everytime my 13 month old sleeps :)

I managed an hour this afternoon whilst watching the football with my big boys and I'm back in bed shattered already... This blooming 1st trimester has stack loads to answer for Grin x

Kittykitty05 · 11/01/2015 21:31

Thanks guys, I will get onto doctor/epu tomorrow.

The sickness for me has been so different on each pregnancy, my ds had me being sick most days, then with mmc it was horrendous, prob technically the really bad sickness thing! Then with dd it was just waves of nausea, nothing too bad. The next mmc nothing nausea wise at all, this time I'm back to the waves.
I'm finding eating about every 10 mins keeps it at bay, but will mean I'm the size of a whale before soon!!!

NatalieBee · 11/01/2015 21:44

My nausea has turned into morning nausea everyday from when I wake up to 2. It's horrific Hmm all worth it tho and reassuring :)

Is anyone having trapped wind? My stomach is bloddy killing me!

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 21:55

Me natalie!
I'm pretty sure a lot of these cramps are wind pains.
I am so dreading work tomorrow!!!

NatalieBee · 11/01/2015 22:02

Treacle I am so glad somebody else is the same! My cramps are most deffo wind, it's horrible and so unbloddy comfortable..the joys of eat pregnancy eh?

NatalieBee · 11/01/2015 22:03

Early* Blush

UptownFunkYouUp · 11/01/2015 22:07

Has anyone else developed a spotty chest?! I don't remember this from last time. I've had no further bleeding today (yay) but am desperate to book an early scan when the EPAU opens tomorrow to see if things are still on track and am currently obsessing about whether I am experiencing symptoms (note-must stop groping my own boobs once back in work tomorrow)..could the spotty chest that has just developed today be a positive sign?

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 22:12

Ugh definitely natalie, glad to have some symptoms though as I feel symptomless!
Very dizzy and headachey tonight though.
Uptown, hope all goes well tomorrow. Generally spottyness is a good sign I think :)

NatalieBee · 11/01/2015 22:12

Yay for having no more bleeding Funk Grin

I have been getting really spotty boobs which is strange! They are like weird red marks! I've never had that before but this is DC#1 Smile

ShootTheMoon · 11/01/2015 23:02

NatalieBee, unluckily for you you sound like me - red spots all over my chest, no doubt soon to erupt on my face. I do not bloody well glow in pregnancy - I look awful!

ShootTheMoon · 11/01/2015 23:07

I didn't read back over the thread there at allBlush.

So sorry for those with worry and fx that everything works out well!

I have some things to try for nausea:

  1. Take your folic acid in the evening as it makes me feel nauseous, so if taken in the morning I feel sick all day (pg or not!)
  1. If not vomiting, are you 100% certain it is nausea and not heartburn? Or at least not heartburn alone? In my first pg I thought it was nausea but was never sick, until someone suggested heartburn and Gaviscon and Omeprazole became my favourite ever thing. Helped a lot and stopped me eating so much.
  1. Cut down carbs - sugar but particularly white bread and pasta which can be mega-bloating which pushes acid out into the oesophagus. Not easy to do with carb craving (I know!) but this has made a major difference to my life in general.

Hope it may help someone!

Maths88 · 12/01/2015 04:43

Didn't use my digi this morning as I had to get up in the night to pee so didn't want to use it on a not many hours held sample.

I woke up in the night with the worst cramps ever - they were low down so definitely not wind - and so painful! I'm so scared now that something is going to happen today! Just need to try and get on with my day because what will be will be!

mrsatkinson · 12/01/2015 06:18

I'm getting quite nervous after reading all these comments.
my symptoms, though I've had indigestion once, nausea once and my.boobs are sore don't seem as severe as everyone else's. This I my first so I dint know if this is normal? x
