Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

hi all, welcome to the new joiners Smile

Treacle fwiw with mu ectopic I didn't get any pain until 6 weeks, I don't think a 4 week baby, which is the size of a poppy seed would be causing you any pain if it were in your tubes at the moment. Also ectopics are quite rare (1/100). So stop worrying Grin Grin It's as easy as that Wink

booboobeedoo11 · 11/01/2015 13:41

Nope, never even used fmu treacle could slap myself for even doing it in the first place! Just came across it while tidying out the cupboard and thought why not. Then read the instructions afterwards and it said about being best 7 days after missed period while the others I used were all early tests for 4 days before.

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 13:53

Thank you terrys! That's what I was thinking. Stupid doctors.
There you go the booboo! Don't stress :)

booboobeedoo11 · 11/01/2015 14:23

Thanks treacle its not even that faint now that I've looked at it again...and again haha. Think I need to lay off the sticks for my own sanity!

Another 4 weeks til I see any kind of health care worker....gona be a lonnnng few weeks!

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 14:46

Hi deladion whispers congrats :)

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 14:57

Hi deladion :)

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 11/01/2015 15:02

Oh tiny Sad Flowers

Do you have anyone supporting you in RL?

GinFace · 11/01/2015 16:12

Hello lovely new people.

Tiny - how are you doing?xThanks

DeladionInch · 11/01/2015 17:21

FWIW it's a lot easier to get in to see the nurse at my surgery than to see a Dr. If anyone's worried, it's worth trying that route for some reassurance!

brickiemum2 · 11/01/2015 17:25

Do any of you poas addicts know the sensitivity level of various tests? The one I used was 15ml U/ml and I've no idea how that rates compared to some of these expensive ones like frer.

ShootTheMoon · 11/01/2015 17:31

Brickie there is a list which is shared on MN sometimes! Try the first Jan bus thread if you can find it Smile

ICs say they are 10miu, but often have very little dye.

FRER is I think 25miu (mine was paler than my IC test)

Many others including some ClearBlue are 50miu or higher!

So 15miu is pretty much as sensitive as it gets.

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 17:35

People online have said frer can be as sensitive as 6 miu. I'm really not sure. Clear blue digi with conception is 25miu.

AliBingo · 11/01/2015 17:55

Superdrugs own is something like 10, they're really good.

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 17:58

I have the Internet cheapies and they're 10mlu but this hatch seem to be incredibly faint.
CB digi with weeks is 25mlu
Frer don't say on the leaflet.

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 18:00

Stuff online says frer are 15miu

Maths88 · 11/01/2015 18:03

It's a mine field!

I have discovered that I actually like decaf tea so that's a weight off my mind as I cannot be without a brew!

The wait for weeks to pass and constant worry about everything is killing me. Why does time go so slowly?!

Gonna take a final digi tomorrow and hope that it says 3+ - cannot guarantee that if it doesn't I won't be buying another pack lol!

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 18:09

That's my plan tomorrow too maths
I know I was thinking earlier, the weeks go sooooo slow when you're pregnant! How am I only 5 weeks tomorrow? I should be at least 10 weeks by now I'm sure ;)

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 18:10

Don't worry if not maths, your hcg has to be over 20000 to get 3+ according to the brochure.

brickiemum2 · 11/01/2015 18:15

Where's cheapest to buy these ones with the weeks on then? I've only bought supermarket own brand lol. The 15mlu ones were morrisons.

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 18:20

I get mine from amazon brickie - 2 for £12 I think it was.

NatalieBee · 11/01/2015 18:34

Brickie when I got mine Christmas week it was from a Gordon's chemist, but it was like 7.50 on offer for 1 then Smile

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 18:35

Tesco have them 2 for £12 or £13, sainsburys are the same. Don't get the 'countdown' ones like I did by accident! They're 2 for £10 :/

LittleSesameSeed · 11/01/2015 18:35

Welcome to all the newbies! I too am a Poas addict- I did a cheapie strip thing this morning and line was as dark as the control so I hoping I can relax and stop spending money on the damn things for even just a short time!!!
I'm sorry to hear ur news Tiny x hope you are doing ok!!
I've got an achy pain in my lower back / side today- desperately trying to ignore it and not worry- any idea what it could be?

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 18:39

Might be of help for the hcg levels :)

September 2015 Ante-Natal thread.
Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 18:41

spam that's really odd. If you look at the brochure on the clear blue site it says 3+ doesn't appear until 20000 plus.
Good to see some outlines though :)
Possibly round ligament pain sesame?
I'm having it too.
