Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

The worrying is hideous, isn't it mummy.

I had a shit night's sleep, not knowing if my baby is going to make it and just having to wait to find out. Sad

misskatamari · 11/01/2015 08:32

Finally caught up with be thread!

The worrying at this stage is be worst! If forgotten about it from having DD. I can't believe I'm actually wishing for symptoms like nausea. I was so ill with nausea and sickness first time round that I pray I don't get it as bad again. Don't know how I'll manage work and a toddler if so. It would be good to feel pregnant for the reassurance though. So far my boobs are a bit sore, but I'm still breastfeeding so don't know if it's just from that. Feel a bit nauseaus on and off, but it's such early days I don't think I can expect many symptoms yet. I think last time sickness and nausea kicked in about 6 weeks and got progressively more intolerable until around 18 weeks. Fingers crossed it's better this time!

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 09:29

mrs you're nearly as bad as me! I've done at least 20 cheapies, a frer, a CB digi, 2 cb digi with week indicator and just ordered another 2 pack of the week indicator as I'm desperate to see the 3+ appear so I can relax a bit and see that things seem to be progressing right. I did just do another cheapie this morning and got the best line they've given me. Even at 4 weeks, the line was ridiculously faint and made me worry! I am a complete POAS addict and will keep using them until the scan or a bump appears if it can find its way out from under my masses of fat. I have got period type pains now, sharp pains through my bits (sorry tmi) so really hoping that's not a bad thing :/ anyone else had that?

Oh gin it's horrible isn't it :( we've all got our fingers and toes crossed for you that you just conceived a tad later than expected, it does happen, I've not known anyone to not be put back a few days at their scans. How long until your next scan?

I'm right there with you ladies!

Ha ha treacle I've hidden mine away in my lock box(for my business cash) so the kids don't find them. Threw away my week indicator tests though as it only shows for a couple of days : boo, you'd think they'd show for a week wouldn't you!
Just did the nhs checker online as says to see a GP today because of the sharp pain :/ what exactly a gp can tell you I really don't know! Going to see how I feel later and see if it eases off. Fingers crossed it'll bugger off and leave me in peace!

ShootTheMoon · 11/01/2015 09:57

I just did a CB digi which said 1-2 weeks - phew! I was going to test again in a week's time, but I was fooled by Amazon into buying a two pack which is actually one digital and one normal CB plus - how annoying!

So I will leave it at that I think unless I get any worrying signs. I have pretty much no symptoms right now except occasional ligament pain. But only 3+5 so that's quite normal I think Smile.

GinFace · 11/01/2015 10:07

Thanks spam. My scan will be on Friday. The waiting is literally hell.

I hope your pain eases soon. I thin period type pain is totally normal.

Why can't pregnancy just be easy?!

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 10:14

I'm off to the doctors now just to get checked as the one sided pain is worrying me.

I'll do another digi next week :p my tests are getting darker each day :)

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 10:33

Good luck treacle let us know how you get on

missthebubbles · 11/01/2015 10:36

Just catching up and wow, early pregnancy is stressful! Thinking of you all waiting for repeat scans etc.
Spam, I had that pain exactly all through my pregnancy with DS2, I described it as feeling like a knitting needle stabbing me up there ??
Tiny, what a TWAT he's been Angry. It definitely sounds like a baby panic. We're currently having relationship counselling and it is great. Would highly recommend, especially before baby arrives, we are finding it hard to organise child care but it's still worth it. X

Hi Ladies...mind if I join?

I'm 31, this little bean will be #2, got my bfp on Thursday (almost as darknas the control line) at 12dpo and 13dpo (I think!), Got 1-2 with digital on Friday (afternoon sample) AF was due Fri/Sat. EDD 19th September!

Feeling really nervous as its early...feel like I should be peeing on some sticks for another few days!

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 11:29

Congrats boo!

NatalieBee · 11/01/2015 11:31

Goodluck treacle! Smile

Welcome Tom! Lots of new BFP this week Grin

NatalieBee · 11/01/2015 11:32

autocorrect silly phone! I meant Boo Shock

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 12:14

Well that was a complete waste of time.
The health care assistant took a urine sample (obviously negative) then said "I just want to show you this test". I'm like ok I have done lots, I'm only 4 weeks. To which she said "if your lp was 14th December you can't be 4 weeks til 14th January".
It was then I realised she was a complete idiot. We had a bit of a stand off and then went to wait to see the doctor.
The doctor went through the same stuff. Felt my tummy (very hard prods, ouch) and he could find the bit that was tender.
He said could be bowels but can't rule out ectopic and to keep an eye out for bleeding. Then asked if I wanted to go to the hospital.
Seriously?
So moral of story - should've stayed at home.

Thank you Tori :) was it sort of if you go from your left hip to the right? If that makes any sense.

I'm going to see my own doctor at some point but glad that it could just be that :)

spamanderson · 11/01/2015 12:26

Grrr treacle oh dear she's obviously a bit of a moron! The out of hours people aren't always much use im afraid. We've been given wrong advice by the out of hours practitioners before and been told by the normal gp or nurse that what we were told was rubbish! If you are still worried, I would go back tomorrow to see your normal gp Andy maybe take your test in. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and seeing my gp so going to take a fresh test I do in the morning with me just in case their tests are really poop and don't show up!

Thanks spam that's what I'll do :)
Thanks Tori, i guess I have to just keep an eye on the pain, make sure there's no bleeding and see how I go.
I get so worried that it might be ectopic though. I shouldve known going wouldn't help me.

TinyPawz · 11/01/2015 12:54

Given the nonsense that my exh put me through, I've said cheating or attempting to cheat is a deal breaker. I have to try to protect myself. Definitely not strong enough to ugh to survive another incident like with exh

booboobeedoo11 · 11/01/2015 13:07

Treacle what a nightmare! Maybe I'm wrong with my counting but I would count weeks as in 7 days, for me not 13th dec - 13th jan, I'm counting mine as 4wks + 1 as my lp was 13th dec.

After torturing myself with the 2ww for months, I've now replaced it with the 'what ifs' of being so early on! On thursday and friday I got bfp's which were almost as dark as the control lines on 12/13 dpo and a digital on friday afternoon which showed 1-2 weeks. Today i found a wee cheapy from the pound shop in my cupboard and thought I would POAS again...wish I never! It was positive but only faint compared to the last ones so now my mind is racing! The instructions on these ones say best used 7 days after missed period though, so I'm thinking they just might not be as sensitive? Anyone had experience with this? My head is just working over time as I've never found out this early on!

Thanks spam great to see some familiar names on this thread!

DeladionInch · 11/01/2015 13:20

Got a bfp last night this will be dc2 - ds is just 2.

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 13:27

That's how you should do it booboo, she was just an idiot.

That test probably wasn't as sensitive, and did you do it with fmu?
