Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

Also sorry for not catching up on the whole thread. I hope everyone is doing well BrewThanks

Treaclepie19 · 10/01/2015 19:06

So sorry tiny :( sending hugs.
Gin what a tough day you've had. I have my fingers crossed for you x

TinyPawz · 10/01/2015 19:09

Himself set up an online dating profile within the last week. Claims that it is ages old. One of the pics is one I took last week! Still he tried to tell me black was white. The trust is totally gone. It'll be tough but ok.

Allypin · 10/01/2015 19:21

Hello, hope it's ok for a lurker to join...I've been chickening out of posting but had another lurk and plucked up the courage as you all seem very lovely!

I'm due on the 1st Sept I think! This is my first pregnancy, although I think I had an early unconfirmed MC in October. I've been feeling pretty lousy since week 4, sore boobs, lots of cramps, tired beyond believe and then this week as I started back at work morning sickness kicked in, just to ease me back in.

We're trying very hard not to get too excited about things as it is so early but it's hard not too.

ShootTheMoon · 10/01/2015 19:32

Welcome allypin and it sounds like all is well!

ShootTheMoon · 10/01/2015 19:35

Ginface what a worry for you, but I very much hope that all is well at the next scan. The dates are so close at this stage that it's best not to dwell too much. Ov could be a few days out and the embryo implants in different places so maybe it's just a bit lower down and happened a bit later.

The NHS date for me is a few days out from what I thought and a few days means a lot at this early stage!

spamanderson · 10/01/2015 19:36

Fingers crossed gin that it's exactly what she said, just your dates a few days out. I was put back 3 days with dd2 and an almighty 2.5 weeks with dd1! I'd tracked my dates and everything with dd1 so my dates should have been spot on but looks like I must have ov'd twice or incredibly late. When you get a positive ov it can be that you ov up to 36 hours later, plus sperm can survive for days so is quite easy in theory for our dates to be correct but the biology of it to be a few days out :)

Oh tiny that's awful :( you'll be fine, us girls are made of strong stuff and we can handle anything!

Bornfreekp29 · 10/01/2015 19:38

Hi,

Just got a bfp today. First baby and am a bit clueless! Have worked out I'll probably be due early-mid September ?? be good to have others in the same boat to chat to, although don't know half the jargon/abbreviations so bear with me!

I am 30 and live in Manchester with hubby and surrogate baby (a westie!)

NatalieBee · 10/01/2015 19:39

Tiny how awful, as if you need anymore stress. Sending hugs your way Thanks

Gin, she could be right with the being a few days later wth ovulation. She put my dates back a week when I had my early scan I couldn't believe it. Hopefully the week flys by for you Envy

I have serious heartburn and a McDonald's craving..not good! Blush

brickiemum2 · 10/01/2015 19:57

That's awful tiny Sad

deeplybaffled · 10/01/2015 19:58

tiny - so sorry to hear that. You must be in bits. Is there anyone you can talk to?

gin , will keep my fingers crossed that it's just a dates issue.

x

GinFace · 10/01/2015 20:01

Thank you girls. You are so lovely. You've bought a tear to my eye. I really hope I get to carry on this journey with you all.

God I could do with two bottles a glass of wine...

Mummyboo30 · 10/01/2015 20:16

Tiny what a crappy thing to do to someone. Do you think it was a panic about the baby? Or is he generally a lying sod?

Gin what a worrying time, like early pregnancy isn't worrying enough. Fx'd that it is just a dates issue, as the others have said. I've been spending my spare time staring at embryo development charts to see
how/when everything grows and it really does change so fast. Flowers

TinyPawz · 10/01/2015 20:19

I think it is the former but can't discount the latter. Trying to put a brave face on. Thank you all for your kind words.

Mummytogoldie · 10/01/2015 21:25

Gin can I just ask if they told you the measurement of the sac? I had a scan Friday cos had mc 1st December and positive test 27th dec. bloods took on Monday when according to dates I was 5 weeks showed high hcg of 17500. Scan on Friday only showed sac of 13mm with nothing in so I to have to wait for a scan in a week. Epu said it may just be to early and dates might be wrong but are confused by such high pregnancy hormones xx Tiny how awful, sending hugs x

GinFace · 10/01/2015 21:37

Hi goldie. The sac measured 12.1mm x 5.4mm x 1.8mm. Not sure how big the fetal pole was.

Fingers crossed for you too Thanks

UptownFunkYouUp · 10/01/2015 21:48

Hi,

I'm going to join although I'm not sure that this pregnancy is going to last much longer. I found out on 27th Dec, and EDD is 3/9/15. I'm 33 and already have a 4 year old son.

For the last week or so, on and off, I've been experiencing small amounts of brownish discharge and today it was dark red, though still not a lot of it. I'm having no cramping as yet and still have slightly sore boobs and a bit of nausea so I'm trying to stay positive, but with the colour change today it's harder to do so. (My pregnancy symptoms aren't usually very pronounced which is great under normal circumstances, but it means it's difficult for me to tell whether I still 'feel' pregnant or not iyswim).

Anyway, going to try and get an early scan through the early pregnancy unit next week, so hoping for some good news then, fingers crossed I'll be on this thread for the duration!

ShootTheMoon · 10/01/2015 22:37

welcome to the ground uptownfunk. It's different for everyone, but I had a couple of days of thick red bleeding/spotting (not much) at 30 weeks with my first child, and it was actually from a cervical cyst and was absolutely fine. And people do have little bleeds from clots or even just from hormones. I really hope it works for you. Would it help to try a digi test to see if it shows the right hormone level? Fx you can get a scan soon to give you a hint.

I'm just over 3 weeks and still actually before AF was due, so am worrying a bit that it will just turn up! I haven't had my usual two days of spotting which is a good sign, but not much heartburn to speak of for the last couple of days and I don't really get sore boobs in pg so I feel a bit in limbo. Peeing a lot though, I think. Anyway I'm just trying to get on with it and see how we go for now. And may have ordered some digi tests to see if it will show up.

mrsatkinson · 10/01/2015 22:38

Hi everybody!
I'm currently about 4 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first child. was so anxious at first but have calmed down a lot now.
sore boobs and heart burn were my symptoms this week, currently experiencing my first bout of nausea which is horrific.
anyone have any other symptoms I might expect at this stage?
x

NatalieBee · 10/01/2015 22:44

As for symptoms girls everyone is so different! My symptoms only started at about 5 and a half weeks.

mrsatkinson, I have nausea, heartburn, stretching pains, headaches, (Tmi) increased clear discharge, peeing more (for a nurse is killing me! No time to pee and I usually have a super bladder), constipation, burping and exuhstion.

I seem to have hit the mother load lol!!

NatalieBee · 10/01/2015 22:44

Woops how did I forget the boobs. My sport bra is my new fav thing Shock

ShootTheMoon · 10/01/2015 22:45

hello mrsatkinson Grin you found us!

I'm a week or so behind you but just have wet CM at this stage and a bit of bloat - though I did have heartburn which is easing off a bit, weirdly (I'm sure it will be back - haunted me through my first pg).

Mummytogoldie · 10/01/2015 23:14

I am now worried as they couldn't see anything in the sac at 13mm and saw something in yours at 12 mm ginface. I hate this worrying :/

TinyPawz · 11/01/2015 04:04

Sleep is eluding me again. Could cheerfully smother dp.

Treaclepie19 · 11/01/2015 06:58

Oh dear tiny, what's he doing?
I just tested on a digi - 4 weeks today and 12dpo and got 1-2 weeks pregnant :D
still have my cramps mind.
