They are fantastic odds little and every day from now on is a bonus, I'm so so happy for you x

LondonSuperTrooper · 18/01/2015 13:55

Congratulations Little. I'm really liking the odds Grin

Shetland · 18/01/2015 20:11

Those are great odds little
Will they give you steroids anyway at any point or only if you go into early labour?

LittleBairn · 18/01/2015 20:17

shetland I've had them already at 24 weeks nothing says good morning like a big needle in your bum. Grin
If I'm still pregnant 30+weeks I've to have another set they try to time it so baby has them as close to being born as possible.
But they didn't want to risk leaving it to late as they suspect I will labour quickly so I got them at 24 weeks just to be safe.

LittleBairn · 18/01/2015 20:22

Thank you for all the well wishes too it means a lot to me.

lila35 · 18/01/2015 20:29

Great news little!!!

LIG1979 · 18/01/2015 21:22

Those odds do sound good little. From 27 weeks they scbu takes babies at my small local hospital but before that they have to go to a London teaching hospital. I know last time it was a significant milestone to know that if dd was born after that point she would have a chance without extremely specialised care. Are you feeling any better?

Finally got a bit of time to sit down today whilst dh took dd out for 30 mins. Dh was working over the weekend and then played football this morning. dd is lovely at the moment but won't nap and keeps falling out of bed so I haven't slept well either. She is really cute but wants me to do everything with her. Do get a little resentful as dh gets to sleep in whilst we work/go to nursery and will moan if he doesn't get 8/9 hours sleep. I wish!!!!

LittleBairn · 18/01/2015 22:01

LIG I'm feeling much better struggling more with the reflux today.
We actually chose to go further afield to the large city teaching hospital over the local hospital for more specialist care.
A bloody expensive choice when it comes to petrol (not forgetting all the other little costs) for DHs daily journeys.
I hope your DD lets you get some sleep tonight.

Good luck Tiny

I'm feeling a bit weird I've been dizzy since I woke up, must be the sinus pressure.

smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 19/01/2015 10:49

Good luck tiny

I've got today off of work and have only just got up, my mum is doing the horses so I've got a whole day of doing nothing, usually I'd be climbing the walls but today I'm happy to sit and watch daytime TV Grin

Shetland · 19/01/2015 12:30

Good luck tiny

Enjoy your day smiling :)

TinyTear · 19/01/2015 13:25

Growth scan fine!

Give or take 25% (not much then) she weighs 1.7kg already... and has a big tummy (like her mummy) Grin

awesome news, TinyTear! scans are so wonderful and nerve-wracking, aren't they?

TinyTear · 19/01/2015 14:20

yep, i think they will be nerve-wraking till the end

LittleBairn · 19/01/2015 15:45

Great news Tiny
smiling hope you enjoyed your rest day.

Turns out my scans tomorrow, thankfully DH was listening. The nerves have already set in it's quite possible I could go in for scan and be immediately sent for C-section.
I really can't be arse, I'm not sure if it's normal to feel this way but seriously I just can't be bothered I haven't shaved my legs, the house is a bomb site, I've barely slept all week and I still have a cold.

But I do think it's going to be soon I feel leaky (hard to tell when my bladder control is so poor) and I'm starting to feel the way I felt before the stitch with the throbbing and pressure sensations.

My mum thinks she's getting 'signs' too from Robins apparatly they are following her. Hmm
It first started in August just when I told her I was pregnant she was followed down the street by one and now they are back again every where she goes they are there it's must be a sign.
I swear she wasn't this bat shit crazy when I was growing up!

LittleBairn · 19/01/2015 15:47

I should add Robin one of my favorite girls name but DH has vetoed it.

LondonSuperTrooper · 19/01/2015 16:22

Best of luck Little. I wouldn't worry about the house etc. I'm assuming that the baby will be sharing with you and all you need is clean bedding for her :)

I think that we now have a final list of girls names, but some of them are very common & is in top 10 names in the UK..... not sure whether I should stick to my guns & choose the name that I like or try and find a less common one Confused

LittleBairn · 19/01/2015 16:37

London Names I've totally given up we just can't seem to find any girls names we love so will probably go with a compromise name.
I would go with one you love your going to be saying it for a long time.

our house is in serious disarray we were in the middle of moving all 3 bedrooms around, currently our bed is downstairs because we felt it would be safest for me at home to be all on one floor and quicker easier access for ambulance crew if needed.

But it's silly things that are bothering me I can see that my books are all crooked and messed in the bookcases I'm desperate to straighten them all since I spend all day looking at them. But I know once I start I won't stop.
The washing arghh DH has finally made friends with the washing machine, occasionally even remembers to dry the clothes but he hasn't managed to get to the stage of putting them away yet.

TinyTear · 19/01/2015 17:44

I think we have the name, just still working on the middle name...

LittleBairn · 19/01/2015 17:54

My cousin has just given birth a little girl she had 3 names, I'm jealous I can't find one never mind 3!

tannyLoo · 19/01/2015 18:59

Glad everyone is ticking along. I wonder how babie is getting on...

Baby tan seems unable to decide which was is up, and is usually to be found lying transverse or oblique (had to look that one up), and a bit concerned that at 34 weeks time is ticking to get it settled into position. Another thing to whittle about...

TinyTear · 19/01/2015 19:09

Tanny, babies just posted an update of fb. She is home but will probably have to go in again soon

OP posts:
smilingthroughgrittedteeth · 19/01/2015 19:27

tanny I also have a baby that likes to be transverse or breech, in fact not once has he been the right way up, I've been told I'm probably looking at a c section.

little my mother has also gone crazy and is saying the same thing about robins, perhaps it's an old wives tale we haven't heard of, she's convinced it means he will arrive soon.

I've basically slept all day, apart from a brief visit to the shop I haven't moved from the sofa and must have slept for at least half the day Blush

tiny glad your scan went well.
