Afternoon ladies,
Zahrah5, I feel movements low in my pelvis, flutters that I think are rolls. This is where the head was on my scan. I also get much quicker more pronounced movements under my ribs, which is where his legs/feet were on the scan (and the little monkey had his feet jabbed right in my ribs as well!)
Misty I work full time and commute, so I'm out of the house 12 hours a day. Short answer is, it's hard. I'm carrying on with it because I have a Plan. Basically, when I'm back after Christmas I plan to use my holidays to only work a 3 day week, which I think I will be able to cope with. It's only 3 weeks until Christmas, and I have some annual leave coming up so won't have worked a full week this month either. And I do an office job which I think is easier than a physical job. If it wasn't for those points, I don't think I'd be able to still work full time!
I have been lucky (?) in that I drink a lot so I've always got up in the night to go to the toilet, so it's nothing new to me. I don't properly wake up and can go back to sleep when I get back into bed. It's if I wake for any other (or no) reason that I can't go back over, and that seems to have started again recently.
When I moaned mentioned to DH that I was uncomfortable in bed, he bought me this pillow set from Argos. The wedge has been brilliant for supporting the bump, and the V-shaped one is much more solid than it looks on that picture. It has helped a lot, and it's only £12 at the minute! Would definitely recommend.
Strangely, having always slept on my side, I have recently found myself waking up laid on my back because of the pain in my hips
