I'm sorry (((hugs))) it is so so hard, and there is unfortunately nothing you can do but wait.

I really sympathise, went through so many mc's and early scans.

Be kind to yourselves this weekend and next week, it is fine to cancel social engagements, even at Christmas.

Just been on the phone to my mum in Australia - too far away right now.

Don't give up hope anyone, its such a scary time, but just stay positive.

I'm going to ask for a re scan on Monday and their opinion and go from there. Maybe a glimmer of a chance, so blessed to have supportive friends, family and my mumsnet ladies :)

I will second those saying the scan was inconclusive.

Just because you had a +ve on OPK doesn't mean you actually ovulated on that day. I think I've read somewhere that ovulation can happen up to 5 days later. So your dates could well be off.

I don't understand why they would say that given the fact that you were only measuring 6 weeks - you can't always see the hb at that stage, and they know that. If you were measuring 8 weeks and no hb then I would understand. But this is too early too jump to such conclusions especially if as they don't have an earlier scan to compare to.

Definitely request another scan.

Thanks ladies, I've posted more in the MC thread, as I don't want to dampen anyone's joy on this thread, it doesn't seem fair and I don't want to worry anyone.
I shall keep you updated though and know to ask for repeat scans and bloods to see where I'm at.

Nausea has declined a bit, but my boobs are still tender, I'm just going to try and focus on a good outcome,but also mentally prepare a little for another.

I'm signing myself.off work until the new year, I just can't face it right now. They'll just have to accept that

MrsB I had 2 x mc's this year. So I know your pain.

If the outcome is the worst then when you feel strong enough look at the TTC after mc thread in conception. The ladies on that thread were a god send in my darkest hours x

Fingers crossed mrsb that's it's just because you're not as far in as you though. There's still hope.

Haven't been on for a while as my bunny rabbit has been poorly sick. Found out yesterday she has uterine cancer Pretty devastated as she's been my baby for the past 7 years.

My sickness has been up and down this week. Feeling pretty uncomfortable around my belly and lots of constipation! Lovely!

Had first midwife appointment yesterday, was pretty non eventful. Waiting for a letter from the hospital now with my scan date on. Hopefully it will be a fairly early one so they can check my cervix is up to the job as I had a pretty extensive loop excision 7 years ago that removed most of it. So this is a major concern for me.

Hope everybody else is doing ok.

Otter I'm worried about exact same thing. I've had a letz procedure and a cone biopsy and got lots of scarring on cervix so no idea if mines up to it either!!

Hey brummie. Have you mentioned it to anyone? The midwife was pretty dismissive but I wouldn't be budged. I wanted to be referred to the hospital that fixed the mess the first hospital carried out. They told me they wouldn't treat me if I got abnormal cells again as I wouldn't be able to carry a baby. So I kept repeating myself and eventually got what I wanted!

I'm sure it will all be fine, but these things need to be checked. This little bean is too precious.

I'm still waiting to hear from the midwife!!!! In my previous pregnancy I was given a consultant appointment straight away but due to mc never made it.

Have now moved house to a new area and still waiting for community midwife to contact me.

I've got my early scan tomorrow morning. I'm so nervous

Thanks blue. I've had no problems but we'd like to tell our parents and siblings over Christmas so it's for reassurance.

Oh that's lovely, and great you haven't had anything to give cause for concern.
Do you know how far along you are and what you're expecting to see?

By my calculations I'll be 6+6 tomorrow. I know a bit early to see too much but really hoping for a heartbeat!

My lack of symptoms is actually worrying me a bit too!

Um, I'm not even 4 weeks yet!! AF due Monday ish I think, but positive test came up early, I just 'knew'.

I'm new to this thread. Got my bpf last weekend and think I'm about 5 weeks. Been having horrendous stretchy, pulling niggles the last couple of days- don't remember this with my first. I'm a little more apprehensive of this pg and desperately trying to connect with it a bit more. I'm sure I'd joined the day I got my bpf with my DD (18 months)

5 weeks today!!! I phoned my gp on Friday afternoon who said they don't deal with booking in appointments anymore and I was to phone the hospital between 9-12. Here it starts!!! I also wanted to talk to my gp about the meds im on for asthma and allergies! They seemed less than interested. I spoke to a chemist that suggested I phone nhs 24 if my gp won't review my meds immediately!

What should I do? Anyone else on Fluticasone inhalers (purple ones)?
And are there any antihistamines I can take? I'm in agony (urticaria triggered by food allergies)

Hi everyone. Hope you don't mind me joining in! Im also about 5 weeks Bunnychan. I had really bad cramping last week for a good few days, much worse than any period but no bleeding. Since then my boobs have got really sore and cramping has eased so I'm hoping that's a sign everything is moving along as it should be. I'm naturally a nervous person anyway so constantly seeking reassurance! This is my first. Nice to see how everyone on here supports each other and good to know there is always someone to talk to. I daren't tell anyone yet except my husband althought I'm itching to share the news x

I should get my blood results back today to check the pregnancy hormone was increasing but as all spotting has stopped and I'm feeling nauseous I'm feeling positive anyway without the results.

6+2 today. Feeling fat because I've had so many social events on that have involved food and I've put about 4 pounds on just in bloat. Also the sickness makes me want to eat because it helps it.

Hope everyone else is OK
