So jealous of everyone having early scans id love to have one!!

I to was very ill last night spent all night with cramps and on the toilet.

Ive been feeling quite nauseous and retching a bit but not been sick yet.

Hope everyone feels a bit better soon!

karatekimmi · 19/12/2014 16:12

I've finished at work for Christmas, and now the fun of trying to hide the fact I'm not drinking begins!! This is the trouble when your normally the first at the bar!!

All the early scans sound lovely, we are thinking of finding the gender out (we had a surprise with number 1) but won't be scanned until 12 weeks

mrsb0710 · 19/12/2014 18:12

No good. No heartbeat. Booking in to hospital on Monday for options. Devastated but we'll get through it.

Frolicacid · 19/12/2014 20:17

mrsb Flowers

I'm having a similar evening emb. I would usually have been out since lunch time!

bluewisteria · 19/12/2014 20:39

Hello I would love to join you ladies

First of all Mrsb I am so sorry Flowers for what you are going through. My DD1 had none at 6+5 scan but a week later it was there. Fingers crossed for you Flowers

I think I might be straddling two birth boards! My cycles are 28-31 days and I don't know for certain when I ovulated. So I am due 31st August-2 September!

I have DD's about to turn 5 and 3, and just got my very early bfp this morning! It is very faint though and prior to DD1 we had 6 early mc's, so I know the odds are stacked against us a bit.

But here's to positive thinking!! And trying to break my compulsive POAS habit!! I haven't had a positive on a cb digital yet, so it's going to be an expensive week!! Hoping to put a digital test in my husbands stocking come a Christmas morning Smile

birchwoods · 19/12/2014 20:51

So sorry MrsB. How far along are you? As others have said could you just be earlier than you thought? Fingers crossed for you. Thanks

mrsb0710 · 19/12/2014 21:11

My first day of last period was 27 Oct, but it was my first AF after implant removal. Think I ovulated around 11/12 Nov.
First BFP was 26 Nov, clear blue showing 1-2 weeks.

I thought I was 7+4, but measurements showed just on 6 weeks, although the sac was bigger.

I just don't want to give up hope, but I also don't want to be optimistic.

I have an EPU appointment Monday, guess they'll scan and decide whether to wait,or D&C.

DH and I are so upset, the worst has been updating those who knew.
Maybe there is still a Xmas wish to be had.
What do.you think about dates?

mrsb0710 · 19/12/2014 21:14

Gestational sac 20.3
CRL 6.3

bluewisteria · 19/12/2014 21:17

I think if you aren't certain when you ovulated then definitely wait at least a week to try and get a heart beat, if not 2 weeks. It might be agonising and not get you anywhere but at least then you will be certain. And you can compare growth and size to this scan. I definitely wouldn't go for a D&C just yet. Flowers

bluewisteria · 19/12/2014 21:18

Oh those numbers don't mean anything to me but I hope they will to someone else.

bluewisteria · 19/12/2014 21:21

Was it an abdominal scan or vaginal? As apparently that makes a difference (according to the website I'm on).
radiopaedia.org/articles/mean-sac-diameter

bluewisteria · 19/12/2014 21:30

Sorry, not sure if I'm helping, I'm just researching. If I find anything relevant I will post it ((hugs))

mrsb0710 · 19/12/2014 21:30

Both.

birchwoods · 19/12/2014 21:33

Mrsb I only had one AF after implant was removed before I got my bfp but that took over three months to arrive and I ovulated on about day 34 of my cycle! I wouldn't assume that your cycle had settled into a perfect 28 day cycle so quickly so you could quite easily be a couple of wks earlier than you thought! Were you tracking ovulation/temp/EWCM at all to indicate when you may have ov'd?
Really hoping it's all ok for you.

mrsb0710 · 19/12/2014 21:34

I think I ovulated about the 11th as I did an OPK. Not sure where that puts me

bluewisteria · 19/12/2014 21:39

Ok every statistic I can find says both your crl and your sac measurements show you to be about 6.5 weeks. Most heart beats can't be seen till 7 plus.
If you don't know when you ovulated you may well be just too early I the scan.Smile

See if you can get a scan at least 7-10 after this one to check.

bluewisteria · 19/12/2014 21:41

Vaginal and abdominal scans give different figures apparently.

I really don't think Anything is conclusive. Flowers
