Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

what a bargain lauren!! I would tell him it was full price at least to start with... but I'm terribly mean :P We worked out that as we're due in april we can use the Feb and March where no direct debit goes out for the council tax to buy a whole bunch of the baby and hospital bag stuff I want need without us taking much if any hit which has made him panic less about the cost.

Pisghetti · 05/12/2014 14:14

Boo I think I love you! Mulled apple juice is the shit. Mmm mmmmmm!

Cold pizza and (warmed) bombay aloo for lunch - destroying all evidence of multiple takeaways before DP comes over Grin

Thanks viroids! Wouldn't mind giving birth in the Millenium stadium actually - especially if we win the Triple Crown Wink

That's a whopper of a refund Lauren! I was happy to go second hand but only because I won't be using a pram much. Ultimately it was up to ME though so I think it's fair enough you stuck to your guns!

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 14:37

Boo that's very sensible! I got a second hand one with DD and as this baby will be getting DDs cot, swing crib, Moses basket etc (that were all second hand to start with) I've stuck to my guns about wanting a new pushchair. It'll get used for years anyway because of my job Grin

Pis I do that hiding takeaways thing Grin DP has wisened up though and outright asks me now and I'm a terrible liar so he knows my dirty little secrets Grin

TheBooMonster · 05/12/2014 14:56

lol pis I am going to have to take out shares in apple juice, DD and I mostly me are getting through 2L a day!! I've almost forgotten about how much I like mulled wine :P

I have accidentally taught DH all of my take away hiding skills when hiding takeaways bought on the credit card from his parents, so now he knows my tells, I've taken to putting all evidence of take outs in the neighbours bin!

lauren Mum had some money set aside to spend on things for her first grandchild so the travel system was one of the things I put my foot down about buying new last time because I planned to have two so I wanted it to be something that I was sure would last. poor baby this time round isn't getting anything new except perhaps a new blanket so the early baby photo's actually look different because all of the stuff from DD was saved >.

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 15:36

Lol boo! I was ruthless and gave away all of DDs clothes! I'm regretting it now massively!

Loving that other people hide takeaways I thought it was just me!

TheBooMonster · 05/12/2014 15:39

lauren I wasn't allowed to throw things away! DH and PiL insisted on saving everything that wasn't stained, so we have everything through from prem baby clothes till 1 year, after that it gets a bit wobbly because she's still in some of it because she's teeny... I realised the other day though that this meant somewhere in storage are her tiny Ugg boots, and I got ver excited by this revelation

ChatEnOeuf · 05/12/2014 15:42

I love mulled wine, tell me this apple juice imitation recipe?

Lauren - claim tax back on the pram as a work necessity and you will have gotten it for free Grin

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 15:43

I did keep DDs uggs! She never wore them and this baby is an April spring baby but it WILL where them Grin

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 15:43

Chat you're a genius! GrinGrin

teejayem · 05/12/2014 15:58

boo I just asphyxiated from cute there!!!

TheBooMonster · 05/12/2014 16:25

chat I initially used the tesco's fancy pants packs of mulled wine spices and cooked them up in 1L of apple juice, now we're just sort of winging it. A couple of cinnamon sticks, 6 or 7 cloves, a couple of cardamons, some juniper berries because they were in the spice rack and a star anise. leave the whole thing simmering away for about half an hour then ladle out the juice, you can reuse the spices a few times.

tee thank you, DD's Uggs were the envy of DH's office that xmas :P

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 18:05

Loving the Xmas decoration wars!

God I feel sick. So so sick.

Is anyone else craving ice lollies? I start thinking about them around 2pm and have to have one when I get home!

Awful day today. So tired, training went well but I felt so sick and tired standing and talking. Plus needed desperate wee through 2nd half and stood with legs crossed. Was seriously frightened I was going to wee myself.

Too tired to go to tesco as planned at lunch so rang dh and said look I'll bring car for you to town tonight and get bus home coz then I can go to shop as I've got friend coming for dinner. But can you please tidy up, put washing away etc? Yes yes he says.

Got home. Friend due 6:30 and I've still got to take car, bus home, make dinner. He's been home most of the day (with hangover). House is a tip, his breakfast dishes in sink, washing still on rack, stuff everywhere.

So I've just rung my friend and we are going out for dinner instead. Texted dh who goes 'I did the shopping online though'.

Wow. Fucking wow. Give the guy a medal.

Anyone want my dh? Comes with free eau de booze.

Thanks so much ladies for contributing to my horse post! I'm a bit scared it's going to out me so I might remove it. Still in quandary but will see how things go.

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 18:07

That's quite a refund Lauren, brilliant !

I've been offered my friends full baby set up. I'd still like to buy new cot and buggy but otherwise it's brilliant!

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 18:21

Oh la your DH is being an arse Shock especially when he kept you awake last night too! Good plan to eat out though! People seem to be concentrating on the financial side with their advice when you've said you're fine with that bit! Confused

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 18:26

I've just got a Christmas card from the elderly man across the road. He's addressed it to Lauren, DD...and baby? Grin I love how risky people get as they get older! I do have a bump but at 20 weeks it definitely could be lots of mince pies! And I haven't told any of the neighbours I'm pregnant. I wonder if he's been put up to it by the others to find out the gossip Grin

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 18:29

I know :(. I'm hoping I'll earn same as I do then as now, coz once credit cards are paid we can afford part livery for him. When he's in a routine he's more manageable.

I just don't know what to do. I love him but in my heart I know what the sensible thing to do is :(

wilmabedrock · 05/12/2014 19:11

That's so funny Lauren Grin . Imagine if you weren't pg!

La, MrWil would totally do that too, you have my sympathies. Enjoy your dinner. Do you think you need to drink more? Could explain the ice lollies.

I'm SO full. And I used too much garlic in my cooking so my mouth tastes a bit rank. Anyone have exciting weekend plans? How's Brussels Dulcet?

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 19:14

:) that's cheeky but sweet Lauren

wil I'm drinking loads but perhaps?

Minion · 05/12/2014 19:23

Hi gals
Baby is head down, facing the right way (not back to back) and looking to be around 7lb so far. No c sec needed

Still couldn't see the sex but hey ho, not long to go.
Have to have a growth scan on Tues as today's Mw was still training and didn't want to give me false info but she said it looks good.
So that's one thing of my mind now.
Just have to try and get festive more and decorate our 2nd tree. First one in ten years of the real variety.

La I thought I would have to sell my mare when I was pg with DD. I advertised her but cried every time someone came to see her, I just couldn't go through with it! I decided that that would be a final option and it was something I could do if when the time came I needed to. I never needed to in the end! Obviously it's a little different for you in that his loaner would have him. But if you needed to down the line you are likely to find another good home? Sorry for the thread overlap!

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 19:28

Excellent news minion Smile have you not been able to tell the sex the whole way through at any scan? Shock

ZylaB · 05/12/2014 19:43

min that's great news :)

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 19:58

Aww that's fab news min!

lildottie · 05/12/2014 20:45

viroids I've decided I'm gatecrashing. I'm in limbo. I'm not a jser, I'm not a grad. there is no place for this viroid so she's going to keep one feet in each door Grin

RPopz · 05/12/2014 20:47

Great news Min Smile Any twinges??

Maybe it's the coldness La? I craved ice cubes and super cold drinks. Anything remotely lukewarm made me boke. Plus the epic thirst.
