Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Oh wil that sounds awful Sad broken sleep is terrible! I seem to struggle more with broken sleep now DD is older than I did when she was a baby because I'm not expecting it and I'm used to sleep!

lildottie · 07/12/2014 08:18

bother how are u doing this morning ? hope ur being looked after.

hi juni, ur v lucky to have such nice parents!

wil that's horrid. hope she gets on the mend soon

wilmabedrock · 07/12/2014 08:24

I actually feel more bad for her. She at least lies in in the morning when she's been up. Have tried sudocreme and thrush cream but nothing is working. Have to go to GP I think.

Ooh well done Juni. I feel like that about most stages. You want to freeze time and capture it somehow.

BothersomeB · 07/12/2014 09:42

Morning all. Thanks for your support and kind words - they do help. Hope to be back with you soon. Heading back to js fred - you ladies take care of yourselves and your beans. X

JuniDD · 07/12/2014 10:38

take care bother

My parents are amazing, I am very lucky. And glad I wasn't relying on MrJ as he took ill for the two hours it all took. Hmm He just had to say he didn't want to come!

Hope miniwil's botty is better today.

RPopz · 07/12/2014 11:10

Hope to see you back here very soon bother xx

Poor miniWil! Nothing worse than a dodgy bum. Hope you manage to get some naps in today.

Haha juni bless you for turning up for 20 minutes! Hope you enjoyed your brief freedom Wink

Anyone got any exciting plans for today? Am still feeling all warm and glowy after the baby showering yesterday... and simultaneously weirded out by the fact I don't have to go to work tomorrow... someone needs to remind me not to set my alarms tonight!! Hmm

Leela5 · 07/12/2014 11:15

Poor little miniwil that sounds sore :(

Hugs to you bother I hope we will see you back soon xx

juni enjoy your wee one, well done for getting out and about a bit

popz tell us about your shower!

Leela5 · 07/12/2014 11:40

My bro came to stay last night and I found out I'm going to be an aunty! My sil is due one month before me!! How crazy is that? I'm delighted because they've been living in different countries and I know they are desperate to start a family and haven't been able to. They conceived by accident (typical when I took 16 months!) when they met up in September.

I'm so pleased because she's in her 40s and I know they were worried about getting started ASAP.

They haven't told my dm yet. This is going to blow her mind!!!

wilmabedrock · 07/12/2014 11:40

Thank you. Just hoping for no more dirty nappies!

Yes tell us about the shower Popz. Very jealous of your mat leave.

wilmabedrock · 07/12/2014 11:41

How exciting La! Does he know you are too?

ZylaB · 07/12/2014 11:52

bother take care of yourself xx

wil I hope miniwil's bum gets better!

popz tell us all about the shower!

juni I'm impressed at you getting out :)

I need to know if I'm being unreasonable with my pregnant rage today, or if I'm actually justified, but im not brave enough to post in AIBU so you ladies get it instead Grin

We were meant to be going round the Christmas markets yesterday, but DH had come home early from work with a bad foot on Friday. It's a condition which flares up occasionally and is very sore and painful. He sat with it up with ice on it on Friday and yesterday said it was still too sore to go out and again we iced it and he put it up (no problem).

He had said if it was better we'd go out today instead, so I asked how it was this morning and he told me it still hurt, not as much, but he didn't think he should go round the markets on it. Ok, I said, but he noticed I was upset and said we could go if I wanted to. I told him no, as I don't want to feel guilty that I've made him go out if it does hurt him.

Turns out he's still going out to rugby this afternoon though, and when I said it wasn't right, that either his foot was ok to go out on, or it wasn't, he said rugby was different as he wouldn't be walking much. He can't bloody sit there with it up though can he?!

So I'm pissed off and told him it's either good enough to go out on, or it isn't. I know he thinks I'm being unreasonable and I suppose I am, I'm just upset as I'd been looking forward to going around the markets and he still gets to do what he wants! (Though he's now said he won't go to rugby, but I'll just feel guilty about that instead Sad )

Leela5 · 07/12/2014 11:59

zyla yanbu - I would find that very double standards too. Regardless of sitting down at rugby he will be walking lots and standing. If he can do that at rugby he can do markets.

Can you compromise with a shorter market visit?

wil yes it was good he had a read of mr Las dad's survival guide. He's not seen his wife yet since they found out so was getting excited :)

wilmabedrock · 07/12/2014 12:19

That must be so hard that they don't see each other for ages.

Zyla I am undecided. Do you suspect he didn't actually want to go to the markets? I imagine he had no intention of cancelling the rugby at any point. It could be the case that walking round the markets and also doing rugby would be too much, which I can understand. I probably wouldn't cancel something I had already arranged (if I was meeting other people). However if you think it was more an excuse because he couldn't be arsed then I would be pissed off.

ZylaB · 07/12/2014 12:31

I dunno wil he says he does want to go to the markets with me, but I'm well aware it's more my cup of tea than his. The rugby is on a season ticket, he never arranges to go with others, but there's a group of regulars he sits with and talks to when he does go. I was going to go to rugby as part of the initial plan, but my toys are still thrown out of the pram and I've said I'm not going!

RPopz · 07/12/2014 12:41

YADNBU Zyla I'd definitely react the same... (maybe we're both unreasonable Wink )

Ah La how lovely and exciting!! Bless them not having seen each other yet, that'll be one heck of a reunion Smile

Baby shower was lovely! Lots of tea and cake and nibbles and fizz (not so much fizz for me... Sad Lol). We played a game another mum friend lent me - 10 ultrasound scan image cards (like zoomed in ones) with parts of them circled. Had to match the cards up with a list of body parts e.g spine, leg, umbilical cord etc... Surprisingly hard! Then guess the baby food flavour (chicken and veg, spag bol, cauliflower cheese, mango, chocolate and banana), everyone was very good and actually tasted them. Then for the last game I'd printed some blank baby faces out and loads of pictures of me and DH to cut up and stick on the faces, and everyone had to create their impression of what minipopz might look like... With terrifying consequences lol! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and got on really well - no awkwardness between different friendship groups or anything, and the games didn't come across as too cheesy so I was pretty chuffed Smile Definitely didn't need to resort to the chocolate bar nappies Grin Got some nice gifts too - including an amazing homemade crochet blanket Smile AND there are currently 5 bottles of prosecco in my fridge which is pretty impressive considering I only started off with 3 - and plenty was drunk Wink

Shattered today though, people started coming round at 1pm yesterday and last people didn't leave til 9.30pm Shock

ZylaB · 07/12/2014 13:07

Glad you had a good time popz it sounds lovely :). Also, yay to ending up with more prosecco, that's never a bad thing!! (I miss fizz...)

lildottie · 07/12/2014 13:15

mmmm prosecco. I've given up everything already. it's like I'm pseudo pregnant! grr!

zyla you are pregnant, under no circumstances can you possibly bu!

wilmabedrock · 07/12/2014 13:15

Ah yeah season ticket is a bit different if he's not actually cancelling on someone. In that case I may also be tempted to be in a passive aggressive grump with him.

The face game sounds funny Popz, I am sure MiniPopz will be much cuter than they ended up!

RPopz · 07/12/2014 13:20

I hope so... they were quite sinister haha!!

Aw Lil it'll be good practise heh! I don't think I actually miss wine so much nowadays. Unless I have a glass... and then I want ALL THE WINE Shock

lildottie · 07/12/2014 13:39

haha. it just seems like cruel fortune that the abstinence can't end when the of does! damn rugrat needing to be fed!

ZylaB · 07/12/2014 14:16

DH came and apologised, said he didn't mean to upset me and that his foot is a bit better than he thought it was. He said he wouldn't go to rugby and would take me to town instead, but I (in my wisdom) said no cos I don't want him to make it any worse and I'm still in a grumpy mood and wouldn't enjoy it now. He kept offering but I told him to go to rugby, just need to try and cheer myself up, might put some leaves on the tree in the nursery!

RPopz · 07/12/2014 17:14

Quiet in here today!

Ah that's so annoying Zyla Sad Will he take you next weekend? Hopefully a bit more graciously??

Me and DH have spent the whole day scarfing down baby shower leftovers... Done bugger all else!

wilmabedrock · 07/12/2014 17:35

I've done nothing at all except put the tree up. Unfortunately no leftovers to scoff.

ZylaB · 07/12/2014 17:52

Yeah, we'll either go to the late night bit on wed, or go next weekend. I'm over it (mostly) now, nursery is nearly done!! I'll finish it tonight and post some pics tomorrow in the daylight :)

Leela5 · 07/12/2014 18:13

Just put tree up! It's very bright and untasteful. Love it!
