Fleur don't think I will actually see her in person over Christmas, so that may be a bit easier for her. Will definitely give her a call a week or so before my scan then.

wantto I agree a heads up would be appreciated imho

Sarkymare · 19/11/2014 09:34

How's everyone feeling today? I woke up feeling quite nauseous but still no actual sickness as of yet. Since yesterday my sense of smell seems to be so much stronger. I spent 15 minutes this morning hunting around for this sweet sickly smell. Only to realise it was my deodorant, that I always wear. I'm sure it doesn't usually smell like this but then I usually can't smell anything unless I practically shove my nose in it so who knows haha.

Number3cometome · 19/11/2014 09:36

wantto defo give the heads up, that's the best idea.

TouchPauseEngage I had a good run yesterday, I think it is actually helping my headaches?

Don't want anyone to think I am one of these gym-mad people, I am not, I am a size 10-12, 5ft 4 inch lady with a BMI of 25.
I have to go gym, or I will end up 14.5 stone like I did with my daughter.
I also have high bp so have to be careful :(

no one enjoys the gym haha!

Morning to all the new ladies! waves!!

I had no symptoms yesterday, but today I feel like I have battery acid in the back of my throat, the smell of my own deoderant is making me feel a bit queasy and I fell asleep at 8pm last night (usually a 1am kind of girl!)

WantToGoingTo · 19/11/2014 09:37

Feeling pretty symptomless today other than the usual sore boobs! Few light cramps but nothing to speak of really. Also continue to have a lot of cm, have done since ov and it's still here! Glad to hear that symptoms come and go otherwise I would be panicking! I also sooke to my Mum who said she had no sickness in pregnancy so maybe I won't...

My sense of smell is also heightened, sarky. I keep holding my nose in the street or sticking my sleeve over it, which might look a bit bonkers. But exhaust fumes are vile!

No sickness for me yet, either, just a frequent weird taste in my mouth, like you get sometimes just before you feel nauseous.

I'm so excited to see lots of older mums on this thread. I'm 38 now so will be 39 when due. Nice not to be lonely.

owlsandbadgers · 19/11/2014 09:49

Hi, Can i join this thread please? Just found out I'm pregnant with DC2, due 24th July! We are so excited!

Sarkymare · 19/11/2014 09:54

welcome and congratulations owl. No need to ask of course you're welcome to join! Grin

Out of curiosity do we have any under 25's here?

Fleurchamp · 19/11/2014 09:54

Welcome owls

I am having no symptoms again. Bit worrying but I guess I shouldn't complain.

Number3cometome · 19/11/2014 09:55

owls welcome and congratulations!

I was under 25 when I had my first? doesn't that count? haha x

Sarkymare · 19/11/2014 09:56

Also for some reason this thread doesn't appear under 'I'm on' does anyone know why or how I can get it back? I had to go back to the old thread to click the link as I just couldn't find it anywhere.

Littlelady33 · 19/11/2014 10:00

Welcome owl. My symptoms come and go too - some light sickness but not so much yet. I'm super tired but that's probably caffeine withdrawal too! I think they'll really kick in for us all around six seven weeks

owlsandbadgers · 19/11/2014 10:00

Thanks guys!
Sadly I'm not under 25, baby is due a week before my 30th, good timing!

Overtiredbackagain · 19/11/2014 10:03

7 weeks today and having a bad day, I definitely seem to alternate days, which I can live with. Struggling with the tiredness and headaches more than anything else.

Honestly, who would think such massive changes so early on?!

Leela5 · 19/11/2014 10:04

Welcome!!!

WantToGoingTo · 19/11/2014 10:05

sarky I am 23, will be 24 when baby arrives!

OP posts:
Sarkymare · 19/11/2014 10:07

I'm probably the youngest at 22 then. Will be 23 a few months after baby arrives.

MrsC143 · 19/11/2014 10:10

Can I join? Had been holding off as 6+1 with first and want to reach the 12 week scan before I believe this is actually happening but couldn't resist any longer! Anyone in West Sussex?

Raines100 · 19/11/2014 10:10

I'm tired and dizzy (normal for me in pg) and my boobs hurt. Nothing else so far; I'll only be 4 weeks pregnant tomorrow! It almost doesn't count yet! Smile
Haven't even thought of booking in. I'm going to wait a couple of weeks and make sure the sickness starts and the symptoms build up first. That's the one benefit of HG- it's a very good indicator of a sticky bean. Didn't have it with my first pg and had a MMC at 12 weeks, so in a way, I'll be reassured if I'm puking my guts up again.
I'm in Surrey, too- West Surrey. I'm hoping for Frimley Park again, as had my other 2 there.

sdyer · 19/11/2014 10:18

Morning all just had scan Baby has a heart beat but sac is small in relation to baby so higher risk of miscarriage which could happen in next 2 weeks

Overtiredbackagain · 19/11/2014 10:23

Wow, is there something in the water in Surrey??!

Fingers crossed for you sdyer, will you be scanned again?

Leela5 · 19/11/2014 10:36

Fx that everything is ok sdyer

mrs I'm West Sussex, booked into East Surrey

WantToGoingTo · 19/11/2014 10:44

Similar ages though sarky! :)

OP posts:
sdyer · 19/11/2014 10:45

Thank you. They didn't offer another scan just gave me a number to call if I had any concerns and I guess it's a waiting game now. Hopefully the sac will grow with the baby?
