My kicks are getting massive- junior seems to have been swinging a foot back and forwards all day, I've even seen it through my clothes earlier!Smile

Bangonthedoor · 31/10/2014 15:42

Why are my feet aching and throbbing so much?! I'm 26 weeks and remember this first time round but not until much further on. I'm not even on my feet much with work or anything. I've just been tidying up upstairs only for half an hour or so and I'm having to sit down to rest my feet as they're throbbing like I've walked miles!

Anyone else?

PeppermintInfusion · 31/10/2014 16:02

Bang, I normally walk a lot, but went into the city last night to start my Christmas shopping and my feet were absolutely killing me by the end- probably only waked a couple of miles max at a leisurely pace!

Memphisbelly · 31/10/2014 16:29

hanflan · 31/10/2014 16:44

Oh no memphis! Was that picked up during a routine MW appointment?!
Let us know how you get on, hopefully it'll be something that's easily sorted.

jenmcspen · 31/10/2014 17:03

Hope ur ok memphis and they let you go home soon... do they think it might be linked to the headaches?

jenmcspen · 31/10/2014 17:03

oops overlap! :)

Bangonthedoor · 31/10/2014 17:12

Sorry to hear this memphis I hope your bloods come back all fine. Let us know how you get on Thanks

GeekyHybrid · 31/10/2014 17:16

Thanks for the new thread hanflan. Marking my spot!

Memphis hope they diagnose / sort you soon so that you can still have your party. A bit pants that is Flowers

We're off out to dinner - bah humbug and all that. We just can't be bothered with trick or treaters. Normally we avoid them by my working late doing the Halloween trail of terror at work, but that was last night (allowing clear up today before the weekend) so I'm absolutely knackered and would rather collapse but hey ho.

Memphisbelly · 31/10/2014 17:27

i am not into halloween but ds really wanted a 'party' basically lots of treats and a carpet picnic and opening door to trick or treaters as he is too scared to go to an actual party

freneticfox · 31/10/2014 18:11

Sorry to hear you're in hosp Memphis, hope you're on the mend soon!

We're having a night with the lights down low and watching some horror films! Not really in the party mood thanks to pain. Got a very lively bean tonight though, perhaps he likes Halloween...

bagofsnakes · 31/10/2014 18:15

My husband is American and our neighbours are Canadian so it's been all go on the Halloween front here today. DS dressed as 'Ghost boy!' - it's a kind of super hero. Had a couple of other little boys around this afternoon for a ghost hunt and so games - shattered now! Even though my neighbour did all the hard work.

I went to the doctors this morning to find that my chest infection hasn't shifted as expected and so it's more antibiotics and steroids for the asthma. I really can't believe it, I'm normally so fit and healthy and being ill for this long frustrates me to tears. I swear that I've seen more doctors and had more tests over the past month than I have in my whole adult life. Sorry for the rant, tis just getting me down.

Goodness, we're a sick bunch aren't we? And some of us aren't very well either... Grin Sorry...

BanglesSpangles · 31/10/2014 19:02

Nooo- hope youre ok memphis

Currently debating whether to pop out for more trick or treat chocolate, or turn all the lights off and pretend nobody's in

Bangonthedoor · 31/10/2014 20:32

Any update memphis? Hope you're ok

Memphisbelly · 31/10/2014 21:04

longbottom · 31/10/2014 21:19

My labour with DD was 9 hours, she was back to back and came out face first! I had the gel to get things started as waters broke and had meconium in them. I was strapped to bed for about 16 hours! I'm hoping for a better, slightly easier birth this time!
Hope the tablets work quickly Memphis!
DD had a halloween party, I am pooped and off to bed!

Memphisbelly · 31/10/2014 21:54

They did say I am measuring 2 weeks behind which isn't a concern until you hit 3 weeks below so they were happy wnough, my inly thought on this is 4 weeks ago he was on the perfect size for week so in 4 weeks he has only grown 2, one worry consultant had was my placenta starting to slow down at 30 weeks onwards so I am glad they are monitoring me from 30 weeks!

JacktheLab · 31/10/2014 22:21

Reporting in, terrible sleep last night madam is kicking much more than her brother ever did so off to my bed, hope everyone has had a good Halloween night and glad your home Memphis Grin

amyandtom · 31/10/2014 23:21

LittleMissSunshine33 · 31/10/2014 23:43

Thanks for the new thread!

Glad youre feeling better Memphis!

I've had friends round for drinks all with young children but children were at parents etc and already all gone! More looking forward to a nights sleep without kids! All that effort but I'm slightly glad as tired now lol I am determined to have naps when Christmas parties come so I can at least last til 12!!

Bangonthedoor · 01/11/2014 06:54

Sounds good that they're monitoring you from 30 weeks memphis. Fingers crossed for you all will be just fine.

I've got to leave for work in half an hour but still sat in my dressing gown.....really really can't be bothered!

thingsarelookingup · 01/11/2014 07:32

Glad to hear you are home Memphis.

We didn't get any trick or treaters last night so we've got all the chocs left over for me Smile.
