Frenetic thats great that you finally got seen. Thats a great attitude to have about weight gain too, im not too fussed on weight gain in pregnancy I didn't diet or anything after ds just went on lots of walks with pushchair

LittleMissSunshine33 · 07/11/2014 18:55

Aww thank you for all your kindness I'm touched!
Children at work kept me busy today they were guessing my baby's name I had melody, Rosie, Max, Batman or Hulk hmmmm!

Hope all those having more tests are ok so frustrating they can't just tell you there and then with results etc!

BanglesSpangles · 07/11/2014 18:58

Littlemiss- please please call the baby hulk. Do it for the children Grin

Finally homeward bound- very much looking forward to taking it a bit easier next week- though I'm sure I'll find something to occupy my time

Memphisbelly · 07/11/2014 19:04

Little miss I agree Hulk has to be on your top 3 Grin

donkir · 07/11/2014 19:19

Ha ha Littlemiss. They all sound like my other half. We've had Thor, Clarke, Bruce, plus all the Greek gods.

Bangonthedoor · 07/11/2014 19:56

Ha definitely hulk! I might even suggest batman to DP Wink

Really pleased that you finally have something sorted and confirmed frenetic you've had a bit of a journey to say the least!

Hope everyone is doing ok and cooking along nicely Smile

Memphisbelly · 07/11/2014 22:48

Killer heartburn tonight feels like lava bubbling in my throat....nothing to do with ice cream at 10pm Grin

blankfornames · 08/11/2014 07:01

Thinking of you Littlemiss Thanks. It's fantastic to have another due date to look forward to, but doesn't take away from your original due date either. I'll be remembering our little Angel on 13th off Dec.

Memphisbelly · 08/11/2014 17:50

Frenetic and others who have had pain in their hips and back hats off to you because I am in bloody agony today and have struggled to get through the day.....even crying at work. Had a sleep and a hot bath as I have concert tickets tonight, my friend has said he will carry me if needs be Grin, worried it will bugger me up for tomorrow (may take a cushion for the seat like an old woman)

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend

jenmcspen · 08/11/2014 20:37

Have had some bad health news this week and feeling a bit meh Sad Worst of it is that I am struggling to eat properly and keep being sick so am worrying about bump getting everything they need. Have been prescribed nutritional drinks but they have basically said that there is nothing they can do for me until after baby is born. Even then it is an op with varied success Sad
And just to top it off now have a leaky breast (sorry if tmi!) seems a bit early!!! Another fun pregnancy symptom ppl don't mention! lol!

GeekyHybrid · 08/11/2014 20:39

Totally and utterly wiped out. Is anyone else feeling the same? My to-do list is growing and I can't see me ever catching up at this rate. Very disheartening being incapable of getting anything done. I so need some energy from somewhere though I think I know who's got it all! Junior has been kicking and squirming the whole time I've been typing this. Little so and so already has some choice nicknames!

Bangonthedoor · 08/11/2014 22:13

Completely feel the same geeky the last few days I've just been thinking how on earth am I going to get through the next trimester?!

I wish you could get energy shots at each midwife appointment!

What's everyone doing for wee samples? Our area don't provide the sample pots so you need to bring your own. I forgot to pick one up from work today so don't have one for Tuesdays appointment.

BanglesSpangles · 08/11/2014 22:56

Jen, hope youre ok- and its not something too serious

Killer sciatica day for me- spent most of the afternoon doing yoga poses- its eased off a bit now, and i reckon it'll be fine tomorrow- in a way, its annoying its so sporadic- i cant work out what ive done differently when it happens, so i can avoid whatevers causing it!

BanglesSpangles · 08/11/2014 22:58

Oh, bang- and wee samples- i get given a little pot and a cardboard jug thingy to wee in at each appointment

Memphisbelly · 09/11/2014 07:33

Jen hope erverythimg will be ok, remember we are here if you want to vent/talk sbout it.

Regsrding pee samples i have a pot or they give me one before app to run and dp one, my problem is as im swollen down there its like a sprimkler so I only get a teaspoon in pot if that wish they provided a little pot to transfer in like thry do at hospital.

Geeky I am the same about jobs slipping away. Yesterday I lefta listwith dh for certain housework things and he actually did them, think he realises how much im struggling.

bagofsnakes · 09/11/2014 09:06

Jen really sorry that you're not in the best health. Pregnancy is hard enough without illness to contend with. If you can keep the nutritional drinks down, baby will get everything they need. Really hope that it's nothing too serious x

jenmcspen · 09/11/2014 10:08

Think I am just a bit over - emotional at the moment which is making it worse. Woke up at 5am to find the dog had pulled my one bra which still actually fits (and was from bravissimo so not cheap!) out of the washing basket and chewed it up!!!
Cue OH finding me sobbing on the landing with a mangled bra in my hands at 5am!
Ahh well, can laugh about it already so things aren't so bad Grin

Memphisbelly · 09/11/2014 10:32

Oh no Jen, that would make me cry too! I remember years sgo my old dog pulled one of those mini peg things full of fancy underwear and chewed every strap literally hundreds of pounds.....after that my expensive bras got swapped for primark and Asda Grin

donkir · 09/11/2014 10:34

Jen im hoping things get better for you. Thanks

So has anyone who doesn't already have little ones used the parent and child spaces in car parks. I've just been to sainsburys and had to use one as I'm now too fat to get out the car without swinging the door really wide.

sandulacek · 09/11/2014 11:15

Grin donkir. In theory you have a baby on board! Good tip Wink

Memphisbelly · 09/11/2014 15:19

Donkir if you join the Tesco baby club you get a disc to dispay to say you can park in mum and baby spots....if anyone anywhere argues against you using them then more fool them argueing with a pregnant woman Wink

I have a leg of lamb in the oven, roasts, cauliflower cheese, yorkies and parsnips with all the veg......mmmmm I am starving!

Memphisbelly · 09/11/2014 19:06

Really struggled to eat my lunch, really hate cooking to then not fancy it Sad

Went into the loft today and got the baby box (that we will keep downstairs) out to wash and start filling it, bought baby nail firl, scissors set yesterday, one of those ramer sponges so they can go in with some wipes and nappies, cannot find the bag with all the bibs and blankets in, they must be in the loft but navigating bump through rafters, past crib, moses basket and a pushchair was tedious so decided to get crib and moses basket out with xmas decs in december then I can clear lost of loads of stuff (dh loves space and hates all the baby stuff up there so insists as baby grows out of stuff its going out the door)

Grinningcat · 10/11/2014 08:47

Was mildly concerned this morning as baby didn't move at his/her usual time between waking up and actually getting out of bed. Gave LO until I arrive at work to play ball and then called "baby baby bay" loudly and was rewarded with a couple of hefty kicks as if to say "shut up mum I'm trying to get some kip in here".

PeppermintInfusion · 10/11/2014 11:26

I finally got my cot and furniture sorted this weekend, so that's another thing off the list!

Junior was nocturnal last night and has been sleeping all morning instead!

Grinningcat · 10/11/2014 12:05

We finally dismantled the old Ikea double bed in the spare room and took it down the dump. I managed to do about 20 mins of painting at 9pm last night just so I could feel like I'd started! Won't get a chance to crack on with it until the weekend.

25 week mw app tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing baby's heartbeat.
