Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

sarky yes mayb I will get my letter soon then as my mw appt is not until 18 December when I will be 9 weeks!

Thepurplegiraffe · 18/11/2014 13:10

Number3 sorry you are feeling so down, it is such an emotional scary time. I wouldn't worry yet about symptoms, I have days where I worry because I don't feel sick and then it comes back, and my boobs never feel any different. I do however have lots of cramps so maybe that is a normal symptom.
I think symptoms can really come and go at this stage. I know how you feel though, I find myself panicking over something almost every day.

Zampa · 18/11/2014 13:13

Number3 It's so easy to worry about everything ... I've convinced myself on numerous occasions that I have an ectopic pregnancy or that I'm going to miscarry all because of back ache or light spotting. I try and remind myself that a lack of symptoms can also be a good thing! 9 months of feeling grim isn't a nice thought and if I'm not nauseous now, I should enjoy it!

Number3cometome · 18/11/2014 13:17

purple and zampa yes absolutely true.

I guess I just feel so different to what I did with my DS and DD, but then I guess they are all different and the last one was 8 years ago so it's easy to forget how much fun having my head down the loo will be soon haha x

Sarkymare · 18/11/2014 13:29

misses ha probably!

Yes there's a 1000 message limit I believe.

want is this just for your booking In appointment? Hopefully once you have your appointment on the 18th they will hurry up and book you in for a scan.

number as purple and zamp said, don't worry about lack of symptoms. Its still early days yet. Besides its perfectly possible to breeze through the first trimester with no symptoms at all. Enjoy being sick free. I'm sure we all will be fed up of the sight of the toilet bowl within a month Grin

Number3cometome · 18/11/2014 13:42

sarkymare it was just worrying me that last week I felt bad like shit and this week normal?

Anyways, I will embrace the lack of symptoms and hope something happens soon haha x

Overtiredbackagain · 18/11/2014 14:05

Number3 I think that's perfectly normal, every pregnancy is different. I had no symptoms at all with DS, this time I feel exactly the same as I did with DD, but I have days where I feel terrible and then days with nothing at all.

My latest fear is twins Grin

TinyCaterpillar · 18/11/2014 14:09

Hi all! Can I join? I got my BFP last week and I'm 5+4 today, EDD 15 July.

This will be my third and so far it's completely different from the other two pregnancies - I'm almost feeling no symptoms at all which is slightly disconcerting so it's good to know that others are in the same boat. It doesn't feel real! With my previous two I felt awful before I even took the test, this time I feel mildly queasy and a bit tired and that's it. I know I should be grateful though!

Number3cometome · 18/11/2014 14:13

Perhaps November is not the time for sickness? too many chocs about to be pukking haha x

WantToGoingTo · 18/11/2014 14:29

Yes 19th dec is my booking in but there is Christmas an then I will be 12 weeks on 9 January so I hope I get my scan appt before my booking in appt otherwise will they have scan appts at such short notice or will I have to wait until 14 weeks? :S

WantToGoingTo · 18/11/2014 14:29

That should be 18 dec!

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 14:40

Midwife was fab. All the stretchy pains are normal, symptoms coming and going is normal. Having dating early scan 3rd December and they hope to get me in for 11 week scan before Christmas depending on outcome of first scan.

Hope everyone's ok. This is a very nerve wracking!

Who's up for doing next thread title?

Overtiredbackagain · 18/11/2014 14:47

Glad your MW appointment went well Leela5, can I ask is it normal to have early MW appointments where you are? I will be 9 weeks by the time of my booking-in! Although this is my DC3, I am now "older" mum so was hoping I would get earlier appointment and earlier scan Sad

Number3cometome · 18/11/2014 14:50

leela5 that is very reassuring for many of us here who have been having aches and no symptoms!!

I am feeling a bit more lively, so off to the gym for a run Smile

Overtiredbackagain · 18/11/2014 14:51

Number3 you're exhausting me just talking about running!! Grin

Kilicat · 18/11/2014 14:55

Welcome and congratulations to all the newbies.

Symptoms do definitely seem to come and go so try to enjoy the less nauseous days! Having said that I seem to be getting into a routine of feeling very nauseous first thing in the morning but no actual sickness yet. Will stash some biscuits next to the bed as I imagine this will help. I am sure Dh will think this is a great excuse to snack in bed. He's given up alcohol and coffee with me so might insist on eating biscuits in bed too!

Extreme tiredness and insomnia are the worst symptoms for me currently - anyone got any good ideas for dealing with this and keeping awake at work?

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 14:58

I think it's usually 6-8 weeks, mine was early because I never had af after mc so they need to work out my dates. Unfortunately often it's pot luck according to where you live

Glad that info helped to reassure people Smile

Overtiredbackagain · 18/11/2014 14:59

Kilicat - I keep a packet of biscuits beside the bed and have two before I even think about moving, it seems to help although I still have alternate days of nausea.

I fell asleep at my desk and on the loo yesterday at work Shock Luckily, no-one caught me, fortunately it was lunchtime and most people were out! But DP thought it was highly amusing when I told him.

I surprisingly do not miss alcohol at all, I could quite easily have had a glass or two of an evening after work, but I don't even crave it! I was exactly the same with DC1 and 2, I find it amazing how your body changes so early on x

Sarkymare · 18/11/2014 15:08

who's up for doing next thread title?

I nominate you Wink

Kilicat · 18/11/2014 15:09

overtired that is really funny and pretty appropriate for your name! Not quite managed that yet. I'm a teacher so there's little chance of falling asleep with the kids in the room thankfully.

Will definitely sort out some biscuits ASAP. I agree that giving up alcohol has been relatively easy although not really looking forward to Christmas - although I am sure a celebratory half glass on Christmas Day won't be a problem!

JoY007 · 18/11/2014 15:30

I am not missing the alcohol, I went off wine few months before. Don't think I will miss the Xmas booze, will miss the champagne though, I think, as I seem to enjoy fizzy softs at the moment. I like the biscuit idea, will get some crackers, I normally eat bananas in the morning before my spin class but find the after taste horrid! Separate reading somewhere it's good for MS, though I have not have actual sickened just the weird taste and feelings of nausea.

New thread title - July DC are the cutest Wink DP and I are July including my mum, hence the partial statement.

Don't mind starting the new new thread but got to wait till I am home with access to a computer.

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 15:41

I would have done but am on app and would have to wait til I was at home PC Wink

That's a fab title want! Hooray new thread Smile
