Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

Awake too but 6am is my normal time.

TouchPauseEngage · 16/11/2014 07:00

Me too chicken. Left DH in bed and have the dog curled up next to me warming my feet. This lack of sleep is killing me. I was at work till late last night Sad

supershiv chesterfield is not far from me. Bring warm clothes, it's foggy and freezing at the mo!

Thepurplegiraffe · 16/11/2014 07:04

We are lucky if we make it to 6am with our 1 yr old but at least I don't have to be out the door at 6.50 on the weekend.
I am feeling pretty sick in the mornings so not looking forward to tomorrow but at least it's not all day. Yet.

TouchPauseEngage · 16/11/2014 07:14

purple mornings are my worst time for sickness. The only time I actually heave. It's not been too bad so far really, but, I was cooking for a dinner party last night (my job not for fun!) and felt really nauseous. I hope that doesn't continue as its not great for business to have a heaving cook! Grin

Thepurplegiraffe · 16/11/2014 07:17

Oh wow Touch hope it doesn't get any worse for you. Last time round my nausea was constant and I couldn't bear to cook a thing.

TouchPauseEngage · 16/11/2014 08:21

Fingers crossed purple - December is a busy month, including a wedding, so absolutely can't not turn up! 7 and a bit weeks so I have everything crossed that I'm going to avoid the worst of it.

WiIdfire · 16/11/2014 09:07

Sorry I didn't update straight away, but had scan on Thurs and there was a tiny wee little heartbeat. (6+2). Thank goodness! So it is in the right place and growing properly, plus there is just one (good to know)! Have fortunately not had much nausea nor any vomiting, but am making up for it with cramps from hell. So severe last night that I came out in a cold sweat and nearly threw up from the pain. Anyone else suffering from this? Luckily Ive not been through much pain in my life, so nowt to compare it to, maybe I'm just being a wuss, but it is pretty miserable.

Number3cometome · 16/11/2014 09:09

Morning ladies, feeling absolutely shattered!! Not sure if it's the pregnancy or medication? Being high risk, I've been put on 75mg of baby aspirin and 750mg of methyldopa. Don't ever remember being so tired with DD and DS although maybe it's my age this time?
I had a moment of feeling like I was going to hurl this morning although that may have just been in my head!

Supershiv1 · 16/11/2014 09:16

TouchPauseEngage I can imagine cooking for others as a job with MS being awful. It's not with me yet but I remember clearly the smell of any food cooking, but especially meat, would tip me over the edge.
oh what fun I was to be around on Christmas day Grin

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 09:21

Wildfire I do get stretchy cramps, rely noticeable at night. They can be stabby sometimes. Are you drinking lots of water? Water helps them a lot and I stay hydrated during the day.

My mum has a nice phrase for them - she says it's the baby settling in for the duration. That always makes me feel less worried.

I just feel hungover this morning. Slightly rancid, hint of nausea and like I've not slept well.

Supershiv1 · 16/11/2014 09:22

Number3cometome do you mind me asking how old you are and why you'd be high risk? I'm on baby aspirin now but not 100% sure why, I just remember them telling me to take it if I ever got preg again. Not seeing midwife till December so feel a little like they are giving me conflicting messages about being HR. Don't know what methyldopa is either.
Congeats on the scan Wildfire are you high risk as well?

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 09:23

If your pains are to point of throwing up it would be worth giving dr a call to see if you can take painkillers. Dizzy and severe pain can be sign of ectopic but as you've had scan and everything fine (congrats! :) ) then that's definitely not the case

Supershiv1 · 16/11/2014 09:27

Just seenbthat methyldopa is for high bp. MN has cganged in 2 yrs - you can google directly from it now Wink

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 10:06

I'm so paranoid that my boobs are not sore. They ache now and then but that's it. I'm 5+1.

Anyone else?

Number3cometome · 16/11/2014 10:15

Me! Exactly the same. Nipples are fine the only thing is that they feel slightly heavy, that's it.
I'm also 5+1.

Number3cometome · 16/11/2014 10:16

I take beta blockers for my blood pressure but they are not safe in pregnancy. I had eclampsia (seizures) with DS and pre-eclampsia DD so they have prescribed me the baby aspirin too, it helps blood flow to the placenta x

WiIdfire · 16/11/2014 10:18

Leela - thanks. I was quite dehydrated so will make sure I drink a load today and see if that helps. As you say, at least its not ectopic (which is why I had the scan, as last one was).

sdyer · 16/11/2014 10:24

Morning all! So yesterday I had an appt at the dr he was running late as he went to the wrong surgery. After waiting nearly An hour I found out there was Still 3 people in front of me so I decided to leave I was so angry and was emotional all day after that. The littlest things set me off! My boobs are tender too still no sickness

Sarkymare · 16/11/2014 10:41

I've just taken a clear blue digital it says 2-3 weeks. I think I can relax a bit more now.

How's everyone feeling today?

Sarkymare · 16/11/2014 10:42

Are they rescheduling your appointment sdyer?

Kilicat · 16/11/2014 10:46

sdyer that sounds dreadful - I'm not surprised that you got fed up waiting.
leela mine are also not nearly as sore as other people have been describing although are tender at times and feel a bit heavy.
I've got an appointment with my GP this week which seems a bit behind several of you ladies as I'll be 7 weeks by then. Got a feeling we'll end up paying for a private scan in mid December so that we can make a Christmas announcement (both sets of Dparents and grandparents will be there). I've seen a few companies online - does anyone have any recommendations?

Thepurplegiraffe · 16/11/2014 11:12

Leela mine don't really feel any different, didn't last time either. I don't think it's anything to worry about.
Also interested in recommendations for scans, I had a look this morning and didn't have a clue.

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 11:17

Last time I got mine at my gp practice - they have a day when private sonographer is there and you can book scan. Worth calling yours to check?

Oh good I'm glad I'm not the only one. Last night me left one was agony for about 5 min and they ache on and off but they aren't huge yet.

Wildfire water is hugely important - it'll help with cramps and nausea and you need to drink around a cup of water an hour. Hopefully your cramps will feel a bit better.

Sarky I have a collection of pee sticks ranging from 11dpo to now so I can see the progression. Makes me feel good to see the dark line now Smile I did digi the other day and it said 2-3. Hoping next week it will be 3+

Sdyer no wonder you got fed up!

Leela5 · 16/11/2014 11:19

I was recommended this company also last time but chose to go with the one at gp just because it was closer

scan

sdyer · 16/11/2014 13:16

The next time they could see me was 3rd December! But hopefully I'll have an early scan this week so I won't need the dr. I only wanted them to re confirm my DD and take my blood pressure.
