Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

Unfortunately bustherb I can't even recommend a gin and tonic to help recover from that day. Flowers will have to do.

Had a random nose bleed at my desk today. I knew they were an expected side effect but imagined it would be much later in pregnancy.

Zampa · 17/11/2014 18:10

PS. Thanks for good wishes. Meant a lot.

GoBigOrange · 17/11/2014 18:12

Hello, hope its okay if I join too.

Finally, finally got a BFP and am expecting DC1 after getting on for 4 years TTC, and finally resorting to IVF.

I've had 3 hcg blood tests which all came back good, and I've got a ride on the dildo-cam booked for next week in hopes that we will see a heartbeat. Will be terrified until then though, as I've got no symptoms yet. I can't believe I am actually willing myself to feel sick and dizzy Confused

I'm due July 16th.

Bustherb · 17/11/2014 18:33

Thanks Zampa, I had heard nose bleeds are a common symptom, a girl that sits next to me has them frequently. She's due in March xxx

sdyer · 17/11/2014 18:55

Thank you number3 will try it on and see what happens lol

broodylicious · 17/11/2014 19:03

Youreallygotme · 17/11/2014 19:04

Hi everyone! I'm just back from a 2 week holiday so have been catching up with all the posts, there are so many of us now!
I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself today, I'm so tired after a day in work and I have studying to do for my masters as well. Considering just going to bed! No actual sickness for me yet either but I've been feeling queasy pretty much all the time! I'm 7+3 today and have my booking appt on Friday which is exciting!

MissManage · 17/11/2014 19:07

cramping at 5 weeks anyone? normal or not?

Thepurplegiraffe · 17/11/2014 19:15

I have had lots of cramping Missmanage, I think it is pretty normal.

Congratulations to all our new additions, lovely to see you here.

Leela5 · 17/11/2014 19:21

Lots of cramping here - just uterus stretching, don't worry Smile

MissManage · 17/11/2014 19:45

Oh good news! Thanks ladies x

WantToGoingTo · 17/11/2014 19:55

Yep cramping here too! Wait til you orgasm - it gets worse after that! lol tmi!

Apologies in advance for the rant but I have had a terrible day! DH awake at 05.30 as had to go to work early and dozed in and out didn't really get back to sleep. My revision seminar ran an hour over, paint is not adhering to our new plaster and we have radiators being fitted on wednesday and i spent all afternoon painting instead of revising all in vain as it has all peeled off Think I overdid it as then had to lie down and been feeling sick all afternoon and am getting very stressed about it all. My exam is a week tomorrow and the conservatory was meant to be finished in 2 weeks but that isn't going to happen as we are also still looking or a tiler! DH not getting stressed about anything.

Ok, rant over, needed to vent. Not sure if it is me being a stress-head or the pg hormones which are making me more stressed! But stress is not good for bean!

twinky12 · 17/11/2014 20:35

Hello all (waves) can I join? Also hello to the guys from ttc pregvember thread. Got my bfp yesterday, hopefully a sticky bean had 1 mc before. Will be my first child and apparently dd is 30th July. Still hasn't quite sunken in.

Ceejay14 · 17/11/2014 20:54

Hi
Congrats to all fellow July mums to be. I'm new to this so wanted to say hi!

BlazeofLight · 17/11/2014 21:29

Hello to all the newcomers!

I am feeling a little bit sorry for myself tonight, because I am absolutely exhausted. DC1 (13 months) has been ill on and off for a month, and the last two nights has barely slept at all. Suddenly wondering what I have let myself in for, and how I will cope with two.

Also feel sad, because first time round I was excited all the time. Being pregnant was all I thought about. This time I barely think about it during the day, just concentrate on finishing work quickly to get home and spend time with DS. Then feel guiltily for not thinking about my little bean more.

Please tell me all of that is normal??

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 03:52

Ok I'm having a bit of a panic and I know it's because of midwife appointment today. I have woken up and have no cramps and no sore boobs. Nothing.

I'm 5+3

It's really unnerving :(

JoY007 · 18/11/2014 07:07

Morning Ladies Smile
Leela5 not to worry I have days like that, the feeling will come in a few hours of it hasn't come already.

Comforting to know that the cramping is normal.

Leela5 · 18/11/2014 07:08

Thanks Jo :) the night time anxiety is the worst, my brain goes into overdrive.

Bustherb · 18/11/2014 07:18

I was having cramping and I think it was due to being dehydrated. The minute I started drinking more water every day it went, could be coincidence Wink xxx good luck xxx

WantToGoingTo · 18/11/2014 07:25

bustherb I have also read that drinking lots can help with cramping and most pg symptoms. I am trying to drink more but pre-pg I ony drank about 1-2 glasses a day so I am finding it quite hard!

Hope everyone is well this morning, clear skies over here! :)

WantToGoingTo · 18/11/2014 07:26

And good luck with your midwife appt today leela :)

Bustherb · 18/11/2014 07:31

Anyone else seem to have a different temperature to other people?? I'm so hot allllllll the time!!!x

Thepurplegiraffe · 18/11/2014 08:05

I'm the opposite, freezing all the time but I was last time too. Feeling pretty sick again this morning, all fun.

Overtiredbackagain · 18/11/2014 08:50

Hi Blaze, it's totally normal to be pre-occupied when it's second plus pregnancy. Remember when you are expecting first, you don't have any other DC to focus attention on. I was exactly the same and terrified I couldn't love DC2 like I did DC1, but honestly it all falls in to place when they are in your arms! Smile

I'm expecting DC3 and an terrified, feel like, as an "older" mum I am going backwards but hoping it will be easier as mine will be 10 and 6 when baby arrives.

Sarkymare · 18/11/2014 09:10

Hello and welcome to all the new ladies

DP almost felt the full wrath of my hormones this morning. I mean who in their right mind leaves a plate of salmon en croute in the living room over night? Especially when the other occupant a) hates all things fishy. The smell, texture and taste. B) has awful nausea and c) has the sense of smell of a sniffer dog.

Good luck with your appointment today Leela Xmas Smile
