OhMJH definitely go in if you feel something isn't right, don't be fobbed off! Don't worry if you can only provide a trickle. Some days I've only managed that and they've still been able to test.

I've just come back from the Maternity Assessment Unit myself as Jellybean hasn't moved much today and my blood pressure is creeping up again probably my fault for being on my feet all day. Half an hour of monitoring later and I'm now back home and all is well. Baby has just decided to have a lazy day. Even the midwife had to wake him up.

I mentioned the full moon as I was leaving and they said the delivery suite was already extremely busy So there might be some truth to it and something might kick off for the rest of us.

Dizzylizzie29 · 06/11/2014 19:27

Hope all is well with weeonion and any other ladies in labour!
Had DH running around in a panic the other night by throwing up everywhere, painful tightenings etc -he kept asking are you in labour, I kept telling him no I just don't feel well but he was all in a tizz! X

Dizzylizzie29 · 06/11/2014 19:27

Me throwing up not him!

Annarose2014 · 06/11/2014 19:39

OhMhj A trickle can be enough! I'm a nurse so have dipped a LOT of wee in my time! Ask for the widest jar they have to catch it all, sometimes they give you dreadfully narrow ones.

CazY777 · 06/11/2014 20:16

WorkFree I think our babies are in tune with each other! Last night I thought something was happening because of the regular pains I was getting. Nothing happened but today she's been a lot less active, nearly decided to go to the hospital but she started moving again after food, cold drink and dh talking to her.

DrBlondie · 06/11/2014 20:17

OhMjh, hope you're ok and they sort out that pesky infection.

amy83firsttimer · 06/11/2014 20:29

Ticked off all my old wife's tales barring the shag I'll need to wait until the football's finished so fingers crossed for me overnight!!!

ohmjh hope everything's Ok. Also getting worried about WeeOnion now. Confused

Last day of work tomorrow! 37 weeks!

blamber · 06/11/2014 22:44

Wonder if we'll be getting any babies tonight! No signs here apart from BH and period pains now and again, but then again I'm only 38+1. I know in theory it could happen this week but I doubt it!

hotfuzzra · 06/11/2014 22:49

Hello ladies
Had some weird happenings today, no show, no waters breaking, but contractions (probably BHs) all day and from about 2pm onwards quite bad period pains.
I don't know if anything is going on down there but I'm only 37+4 so it'd be very unlikely...
Midwife did home visit today, all went well and I really want to try the entonox in the garage
Hope you're all well and you more advanced ladies start feeling things soon.

Strawberryfield12 · 07/11/2014 06:41

Woke up around 3am with light period pains, so light I just turned on other side and went on sleeping. But it has been the very first sign that things might be moving on, so quite content about it.
I think it's one of those early hot chocolate mornings for me....
Not very often you wake up to the thread with last post from 11pm previous night. Is that a sign lots of you are taking advantage of full moon to get the babies out? Grin

WorkFreeWannabe · 07/11/2014 06:52

Another restless night for me too Strawberry. Around 1 last night I had terrible contractions for around 30mins. Can't have been BH as it was a different level of pain I've never felt before and totally disabling. I was doubled up and unable to move. Just as I downloaded the contraction timer app they stopped typical. Spent the rest of the night worried it will come back and waiting for further signs. DH was in a blind panic for all of 5 mins before promptly falling back to sleep Hmm

catg83 · 07/11/2014 07:44

Morning. Crappy night here. OH had to move to other room because of my snoring. Kept waking myself up with it!

Had a lovely dinner out with 3 friends, one hasn't seen me since I was about 20 weeks. I got up from the table and she ran round to give me a massive hug and a bump fondle. It was really sweet. Grin

Thisisimpossible · 07/11/2014 08:00

workfree, Strawberry and Cat a Restless night for me too. Very strong BH for 6 hours yesterday afternoon but then they stopped. Loads of nausea, feeling shaky and shivery since and tmi alert very loose bowel movements this morning (hooray!!). Off to MW appt at 11 so will see what they say. DP driving me slightly under protest which has really upset me as I felt very worried and quite vulnerable when the BH kicked in in the hairdressers yesterday pm. MW and birthing centre where I'm seeing her is a good 45 mins drive. Anyway, looking forward to seeing all your updates. It seems things are beginning to move for a few of us Smile Thank you full moon!

weeonion if you're out there you're not far from my thoughts throughout the day. Hope all is ok xxx

excitedforbaba · 07/11/2014 09:00

Morning everyone... I wonder did the full moon have much effect for anyone!?

Nothing here at all, actually managed a decent nights sleep with just one toilet trip which is unusual!
Have not long woken up from a very random dream where I was discussing when they were going to induce me with the pregnant doctor from hollyoaks! Confused

amy83firsttimer · 07/11/2014 09:11

Nothing here - I blame the eventual lack of action from DH (sorted this morning).
Sod's law is our new trick, so for instance he said that as I went to bed unshagged it'd be sod's law that I'd go into labour overnight. Another trick he's read online is to wear your best pants so you ruin them with your waters going. (don't think mine will fit Sad)

Thehedgehogsong · 07/11/2014 09:12

I managed to fall asleep and slept quite well, woke up this morning with the same pains and some really low down rooting feelings which have been agony!
Bouncing on the ball now and DH at work, DD at a friend's house for the day and I'm supposed to be packing for our house move.

CazY777 · 07/11/2014 09:31

Not much happening here apart from some more stabbing pains. Couldn't sleep from about 4-6am, came downstairs to find dog had been sick again, on the sofa this time! Don't know what's wrong with him, he doesn't seem ill

blamber · 07/11/2014 10:01

Sounds like last night has been quite eventful for many of you, even though no babies appeared. I noticed absolutely nothing, except painful hips, weird dreams and sweating.

Thisis, sounds promising!

Caz, poor dog and poor you for having to clean it up.

Annarose2014 · 07/11/2014 10:17

This sounds very wrong, but I'm jealous of you all with your pains! 40+6 today and apart from a LOT of mucus, everything is as quiet as always.

I tend to have bad nights just because Junior typically starts partying from 1-3am. Last night was no exeption and I found myself walking around the landing at 3am to try to calm him down a bit as it was impossible to get comfy in any position. Wrecked this morning but just lack of sleep.

In a way maybe its preferable not to have weeks and weeks of BH, as they must really wear you out. But the flip side is you start thinking "I'M GOING TO BE PREGNANT FOREVER!!!" Grin

Annarose2014 · 07/11/2014 10:21

Actually, that mightn't have been the last one....aaaahhhh Confused

Thehedgehogsong · 07/11/2014 11:52

If there's a more update list, when it's posted perhaps Kantha and Crazy's dates could change as I think they were Nov not Oct?

I am super bored today, end of the second week of no work, contractions aren't changing (only new development is a lot of trips to the loo - tmi!)

What's everyone doing??

catg83 · 07/11/2014 12:37

I am crocheting a blanket and organising drawers. They are both jobs I can do sitting down as my PGP is awful today after doing too much yesterday. I am doing all this with a background of netflix, marathoning through House. Bit of a Hugh Laurie crush here.

ladydolly · 07/11/2014 12:47

Officially overdue today! Swim this morning, visited a friend, making chicken stock and muffins now, hairdressers later followed by takeaway pizzas tonight. Still enjoying it! Lots of ball bouncing last night only resulted I'm stronger BH but no noticeable drop of baby's head. She's very very wriggly this morning though.

Catg83 I moved into the spare room about 7 weeks ago because dp was getting no sleep with my snoring!! I miss him but feel less guilty when I get up 5 times a night to pee and when the insomnia hits.

toniwol your d day today!!

Happy last day at work loaf!!!
