I have PMed half a dozen of you who have recently said they were up for the Fb group. If you can't join using the link, please PM me with your Fb profile URL, I will add you as a friend so that I can add you to the group, you are then free to de-friend me if you so wish! Anyone I didn't email, please PM me with either your Fb URL or ask me for the group URL. Hope that works!!!

AbsInTheClub · 17/02/2015 21:33

And just to confirm, the group is secret, so only members can find the group and see posts.

Snooky17 · 17/02/2015 21:53

Thanks Abs I sent you a pm with my fb URL pressed send too soon so is a bit abrupt sorry x

Gingerbreadlady1 · 17/02/2015 22:00

Okay, I'm an it idiot, but don't think that's a clickey link. And no idea what my fb URL is. Told you, idiot!

:) No worries. Have replied!
Hurry up the rest of you!

AbsInTheClub · 17/02/2015 22:16

Gingerbread, can you copy and paste the link into your address bar?
Or, to get your Fb URL, go to your own Fb page, click in the bit where you'd type a web address, it will start www.facebook.com/ followed by your unique profile name. Then PM that to me!
Else, if you have a relatively uncommon name, PM me with it, and a description of your profile picture, and I will try and find you!

HexyQueen · 18/02/2015 13:51

Sorry been offline for a while my DD competes in the under 5's Puking Olympics (over half term, nice). Thanks for that, Abs, not treading on my toes at all. Have pm'd you back so hopefully we can get round to seeing each others bump pix soon enough x

AbsInTheClub · 18/02/2015 14:13

Got you, HQ. We now have three on the Fb group!

Hope your DD gets better soon.

Tilly73 · 18/02/2015 15:01

Had my 20 week scan today and all looks well Smile
They've advised me to go to the labour ward to deliver and don't let you go over 40 weeks
I also get another scan at 32 weeks...so get to see our little girl again GrinGrinGrin

Lolababy00 · 18/02/2015 15:19

tilly73 glad 20 week scan went well.
hexy my DD has an awful cough which is making her vomit .. I now smell of milk and yoghurt as that's all she will eat ... Hope your DD reaches the end of her Olympic session soon.

Just had scan date through 4 of the 3rd ..... Excited but nervous

Snooky17 · 18/02/2015 16:37

Congrats Tilly that's great news.
Lola oh no, dairy products make you more mucusy but what can you do if that's all she will eat. it's so horrible when they're ill. Hope your ds gets better soon too Hexy

Cineraria · 18/02/2015 17:52

Sorry to hear about people's children being unwell. Hope they get better soon.

I wanted to say thanks for the welcomes when I joined the thread a few pages back. I'm definitely happy to be included on the thread stats Stubbornstains; I want to make the most of this, whatever the outcome. Sorry not to rely sooner but I've been spending all my time sleeping, eating or vomiting when I'm not at work. I told DH I'm just trying to help him get used to what babies are like and he said that he was definitely starting to feel less squeamish about vomit but he'd prefer to wait for the baby before learning to deal with the other end!

Snooky17 · 18/02/2015 18:43

Well as Cineraria bought up the other end business can I just say and apologies for the language but IBS will you just fuck off !! The stomach cramps are scary as fuck and since I don't have a padded toilet seat or tv in the bathroom I have had enough !! Rant over

AbsInTheClub · 18/02/2015 20:51

Great news, Tilly. How come you get a scan at 32 weeks?

Lola, hope your DD gets better soon.

Cineria, sorry you are feeling poorly, I hope it passes soon.
I can add you to the stats list if you tell me what date you are due.

Do people think we should just start a new stats list - lots of people seem to have disappeared from when this thread was started. We are due a new thread soon anyway. Just a thought.

Snooky, maybe time to invest in a padded toilet seat! Get better soon!

Well, I am fine, at least!!! Grin
Had my whooping cough (and other things) vaccine this afternoon. Bit anxious, it feels relatively new, but weighing all things up, felt like I was better off having it. Argh though, I hate it. The nurse is due a grandchild in two weeks - I am actually old enough to be a granny too!!!

Anyone else who wants in on the FB group, PM me your Facebook URL, or your name if it is uncommon plus the description of your profile picture. I am having to friend request everyone or be friend requested for me to add people to the group. I shan't be offended if you delete me afterwards!

30 weeks!

HexyQueen · 18/02/2015 21:37

Ok dokey, Abs can you send me a friend request as nothing has come through yet. Half the women around my age at DD's old nursery are grandmas too, but they were all started by 22! Saying which some of them are both new mums and grandmas too!

Tilly73 · 18/02/2015 21:55

It must be policy in my areas abs..only for the older mums to check the growth I think
My DSis is about to become a grandma for the third time..she's only 2 years older than me!!
There were a few older ladies waiting for scans today though so we're not unusual Smile

sebsmummy1 · 18/02/2015 22:00

Hiya girls. I'm still here! Have requested to be added to the FB group. I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, terrified but hoping for the best.

AbsInTheClub · 18/02/2015 23:07

Hexy, I have PMed you on here, not sure I have the right you on FB, but I have emailed you on mn my Fb URL so you can friend request me. Will keep trying til I get you!

Tilly, it's so odd how they vary from region to region!
I can't imagine being a granny at my age!

sebs, good luck for tomorrow.

Lolababy00 · 19/02/2015 09:48

Thanks everyone DD only woke twice last night due to her cough ... And no vomiting so hopefully on the mend ... However I still resemble a walking zombie.
My mum was a granny at 38 to my first DD .... That seems so young.

AbsInTheClub · 19/02/2015 10:45

Glad she is on the mend, Lola.

If anyone has me as a new Fb friend and I have yet to add you to the Fb group, please let me know - I think I have added you all, but on the off chance that I missed one of you, it's not intentional!

Lolababy00 · 19/02/2015 11:06

sebs good luck for today Smile

sebsmummy1 · 19/02/2015 14:50

Bad news from me I'm afraid. Baby died at just gone 11 weeks. They seem to want me to MC naturally but obviously I'm not keen. I've got to ring then tomorrow. I haven't even cried, just totally numb.

Lolababy00 · 19/02/2015 14:59

sebsmummy I am so sorry to hear your news .... I think it should be totally your choice about what happens next .... Thinking of you xx

AbsInTheClub · 19/02/2015 15:03

Oh sebsmummy, I am so so sorry, how awful for you all. Thinking of you at this sad time. Really sorry. Be extra kind to yourself. xxx

BingoBonkers · 19/02/2015 15:52

sebs I am so very sorry and sad. Hope you are taking care of yourself and push for what you want if you don't want to wait for natural events.
