How are you doing today, Notta?
Things will work out one way or another. That sounds trite, it wasn't meant to. But seriously, things will be ok, whichever way it works out.

How are you going to unveil your bump?
We put DS in a Big Brother tshirt for PIL - worked a treat!

Sparrowlegs248 · 16/12/2014 16:25

Hi freedom I'm ok thanks. Its not trite, I have been thinking myself what Will be Will be (in between moments of despair!!) I don't want to carry on in an unhappy state.

I don't know about the bump unveiling, Amy bright ideas? Yours is great but I don't have a child already. Smile

FreedomHuntress · 16/12/2014 16:33

Good. You hang in there. (I am trite-sounding cliché queen!)

Who are you unveiling to?

stubbornstains · 17/12/2014 14:03

DTD klaxon!

Finally got back in the saddle last night (fnarr). It was great, of course. You kind of forget that sex is, actually, quite nice, when you get stuck in a rut of not doing it.....

(See, I just knew you'd all want me to share that Grin)

stubbornstains · 17/12/2014 14:04

On a totally different note, how are you doing today nottalotta?

Snooky17 · 17/12/2014 14:24

Howdi ladies, notta sorry to hear your having a shit time at the moment, hope it all works out for you whichever decision you make.
Stubborn go you !! Scared to dtd and given I can't brush my tongue anymore without gagging not sure "other" options and keeping OH a happy bunny are gonna work lol.
18+2 now want movements !! Bloody anterior placenta am so glad I bought a doppler it has kept me sane(ish). Any scans coming up for people ?

HexyQueen · 17/12/2014 20:30

snooky How did you choose what colour Doppler to buy? I'm waiting to order mine after gender scan on Monday. Can't wait to hear the hb. Hope everyone is well, I'm still puking my guts up but much hungrier than I was so that's good for getting weight back on. Guess cos im thin my bump is looking bigger day by day :)

Snooky17 · 17/12/2014 21:31

Hi Hexy, er my doppler only came in one colour, total respect for you And all other "throwerupers"only felt sick during this pregnancy but spent Monday throwing up due to a lovely sickness bug, how you do that every day you deserve a medal !! Ooh a gender scan on Monday how exciting Smile

stubbornstains · 17/12/2014 21:41

Are you managing to keep much food down hexy?

HexyQueen · 17/12/2014 23:28

Keeping loads more food down even tho throwing up lots still. At least some of it will stay down, or for a period of time. From not facing sweet stuff at all I appear to have gone on a bit of a biscuit/chocolate bender this week. But hey, I'm worth it ;)

The nub theory images are totally bending my head, I just can't work out what I'm having. Thank God I don't have 5 more months of this before the big reveal... I'd be intolerable!

Gingerbreadlady1 · 18/12/2014 11:39

Hello old birds, how's everyone today?

OP posts:
Sparrowlegs248 · 18/12/2014 14:16

Afternoon all!

Stubborn respect for the dtd!! Lol! Get it while you still can I'd say.

Good luck for your scan Hexy and hope you stop vomming soon. I have not been sick but still early days for me. Felt very nauseous a few times.

I went to booking in appointment yesterday. Midwife was lovely. Have to go back again tomorrow as I have
a health condition that needs checking.

Sparrowlegs248 · 18/12/2014 14:18

I felt awful last night though. Tired, sick and very emotional. Ugh. Had toast bath and went to bed.

What is a doppler ?

supersupersupershock · 18/12/2014 18:57

Another very emotional one here. Though sickness fading a little.... still need scented candles in every room to ensure no smells of food! Very strange eating habits though

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/12/2014 20:00

How old do you have to be included? I'm 35 in January, but I've been a mum a long time and feel like very old Grin my eldest is 16 and my youngest is 3, I have 5dc. No6 is due in June. Hello everyone!

BingoBonkers · 18/12/2014 21:18

I'm hormonal. Angry. Moods swing. No patience. DH driving me crazy. Told him to not to bother coming home later. They have no idea what it's like being pregnant and having to look after two children, run the house and all the other stuff that falls under "domestic duties" which basically seems to be a non exhaustive list. Unfortunately I am bloody exhausted and can't believe I've got another 26weeks yet. I am struggling.

stubbornstains · 18/12/2014 21:19

Hello MrsExtraOrdinary!

The Rules of the Thread were carved on granite slabs many millenia ago and buried underground in a sacred location, but I believe that you may just qualify as one of the Sisterhood of Ancient Birds...although you might have to be an acolyte and serve us all with Cake until your 35th birthday.

(sorry, in a silly mood tonight). Welcome! Smile.

With such a wealth of baby making experience, we may be plaguing you with questions, mind.....

Do you want me to add your stats to The List? When's your due date? I'll go and get my chisel Grin.

stubbornstains · 18/12/2014 21:25

Oh bloody hell bingo, that is rubbish. Are you being held solely responsible for Christmas happening in your house, too? (My DP is being helpful, but I'm still hosting MY family in MY house with MY DS, so the lion's share can't help but fall to me, really).

I take it your DH hasn't stepped up to do more around the house while you're feeling rubbish?

MrsExtraOrdinary · 18/12/2014 21:29

Oooo go on! I think I'll fit in here nicely, lol Wink

I'm 35 in January so over the hill as of next year Grin

Stats are:
Nearly 35, edd 11th June (15 weeks) with baby 6. Was ttc 10 months this time. All good so far, 2 scans down. Got 20 week scan on my birthday and we will get to find out the gender! But if a hot topic in our household, I have 4 sons and a daughter. My dd is 15 so would be a massive shock and delight to have another girl. Hoping for another home birth as I labour a bit too quickly. I've got an independent midwife this time. Think that's it!

Here to serve all for the next 5 weeks! Grin

BingoBonkers · 18/12/2014 21:48

Don't even get me started on Christmas. Can't go into details as will totally out myself.

I've got the most toxic wind at the moment. I suspect the pickled baby beetroots aren't helping my flatulence status. Desperately trying to cut down on rubbish and eat better. With this pregnancy I can't find any food that really satisfies. The nausea is pissing me right off.

Seem to have decent energy in the mornings but post lunch I am useless. The evening routine is such hard work and I'm too tired to deal with it.

Enough moaning from me!

Tranquilitybaby · 19/12/2014 05:03

Hello girls, checking in. So busy working this week, everyone wants pretty sparkly nails for Christmas. Think I have glitter in my lungs!

Check you out stubborn, glad to hear you're back in the saddle!

I got some gorgeous little baby clothes from Asda yesterday, made it feel very real. Highly recommend their clothes, they're lovely quality.

Sparrowlegs248 · 19/12/2014 09:09

Hi MrsE - do I remember you off a bus or two? Welcome. :-)

bingo so sorry to hear you are feeling so low. I screamed at my H to 'duck off just duck off' last Saturday and things are still not right. Also having the trials of Christmas. Hope things soon improve for you.

Am in the hospital waiting for blood tests - usual ones - then midwife along with Dr to check about my heart problem and if it will be an issue.

Gingerbreadlady1 · 19/12/2014 09:34

Good morning everyone, it's my last day bar 1 for 2 weeks, I'm so f'ing relieved!

Welcome mrse, I'm sure we've met before?

Good luck notta, how are things with dp?

I'm def more crabbit than usual,, I've been taken off shifts since I told them I'm knocked up & finding it very difficult to get everything done when doing 9-5, weird.

I want glittery nails tranq!

Are we're letting youngsters in now!?!?!?
Pull up the drawbridge!
Stamps ageing 42 year old feet.... Wink

Oh, it's MrsE from the AN thread? And she'll feed us cake? That's ok then :)
You will fit right in here, there are quite a few of us with big age gaps between oldest & youngest kids. How are your eldest about the pregnancy?

Fuck I feel sick as anything today. Isn't this meant to pass by 15 weeks. Bleugh
Sorry your DH isn't being supportive bingo. Big hugs x

Sparrowlegs248 · 19/12/2014 10:23

Phew! So the good news is I won't need to inject mysf daily! Thank god for that!!
