Eek great news all round with scans today - v. happy for you all and wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow Squatting.

I'm up for a FB group too, someone from an old antenatal group popped in early on and suggested it and it sounds like a nice idea.

I am trying to keep myself busy today to distract myself from scanxiety but I will not be leaving the sofa until I get through Friday. And my appointment's not til the afternoon - so wish it was first thing so I didn't have to wait quite as long!

Is anyone else feeling movement yet? I am only 11+3 so it seems far too early but for two days running now I've had the strange fluttery sensation. It is my third, which apparently makes you more likely to feel early (although I don't really understand why that would be). I can't remember when I felt the first two but definitely think it was more like 16 weeks or so

nothing yet, but with my first i didn't feel anything until week 20 or more... although I tried lying on my tummy yesterday and could feel something there

Me too almost every night at around the same time I'm feeling something if I lie a particular way. I thought it was too early too.

11 weeks today and I have stopped being sick! I feel like a new woman, I celebrated today by pigging out. Not something I plan to make a habit of but I did lose 7lbs through morning sickness, so giving myself a treat today.

I have noticed heartburn the past couple of nights, anyone else had this? I didn't get it last time until my third trimester!

I was a lurker in the beginning but the morning sickness has been hell but finally starting to feel a bit better so thought i'd pop back in.

Had my scan today and I gained 2 days so now 12+2. Very wiggly baby. Lots of back flips. Ha ha.

Someone did suggest it TinyTears but there were others who felt that it would mean everyone would go there and leave the thread very quiet and therefore exclude those without fb.

Not yet HippoPottyMouth, I did with ds2 before 12 weeks. I'm wondering if its just one of those things or I'll turn out to have an anterior placenta. They didn't check it this time but with my other two they wrote it's position.

So off for a 'fun' cervix check up tomorrow to check I've not got cervical incompetence or something due to an old biopsy I had years ago. Pretty sure it will be okay as it wasn't a cone biopsy which actually reduces the length of your cervix (sorry if TMI) just a little test one. NHS is certainly being thorough though.

I see cinnamon but as I said I think there is room for both...

lindalove good luck with cervix inspection. I had a cone biopsy about ten years ago so I get consultant cover and a bonus scan to check cervix isn't incompetent. I'm kinda hoping that all was OK last time, it will be fine this time too. Do you get a bonus scan too?

thanks cinnamon not ideal timing as DH just had to go away on a work trip til Friday so no relief on the night wakings til then. pesky kids. Could these blasted teeth just turn up already!

My previous antenatal group moved onto Facebook after we had the babies as people wanted to share pics, but not share them with the world. It seemed like a good time.

All these scans have got me smiling sooo much! Ooh, it makes me all giddy! Cant wait until Friday for mine. Only three get ups!

I don't mind either way, I'm in a sept '10 group but the thread did pretty much dry up. I can't remember who it was that felt strongly against :)

mswibble mine's 2.30. I know what you mean, I keep imagining showing people my scan picture and letting extended family know (who have all been waiting for an announcement for ages!). But then I think of everything that could be wrong and get scared again. Just can't wait for it to be done so I know one way or the other.

I would be up for a FB group too, I find it easier to use on my mobile too. Happy either way though.

Had my flu jab today in and out of the surgery in less than 5 minutes and no sore arm, yet!

Can share bump pics on here though. Those on phones just use mobile site rather than app and you can do pretty everything as normal site :)
