Catsofa I asked for the form when I first visited the gp so I don't know when they officially give it out but i don't think there's anything to stop you getting it sooner.

Hopefully our blood test letter will come today! Cooooome ooooonnnnnnnn.

TeaAfficionado · 07/10/2014 06:25

Hi All!

Scan today! Eeep! Nervous!

prevlurker123 · 07/10/2014 06:34

Same here Tea!! Good luck!!

TeaAfficionado · 07/10/2014 06:38

And to you prevlurker!

MissV84 · 07/10/2014 06:54

Thanks for the bump reassurance everyone Smile paranoia is a terrible thing.

good luck tea and prevlurker! Let us know how it goes not long now..

Had a terrible nights sleep last night, really anxious about work, how long away is mat leave?!

Lauren82000 · 07/10/2014 07:03

A brilliant nights sleep in our house last night. We turned our mattress when we changed the bed and I didn't even get up for a wee! Fell asleep watching tv sometime around 9.30 and woke up to my alarm at 6.30. No late night visitors and the first thing she said when she woke up was I love my princess bed mummy. Smile Today is going to be a good day perhaps.

daholster · 07/10/2014 08:08

Lauren that sounds lovely! I hope it is a good day.

Good luck tea and lurker !

I am off to the dr today since I think I have an ear infection, it's starting to really hurt worse if I move it/catch it and I have a huge painful gland up, it's sore to sleep on. Could do without it to be honest! Grandma's funeral today, and back to work tomorrow. Tongue still covered in ulcers, o wonder if I'm getting thrush in my mouth, my tongue hurts so much and it isn't tasting very well. Not sure what's going on, I don't feel I've properly recovered from my throat thing yet, still clogged up and tired if you know what I mean. I just feel pretty rubbish and could do without it!!!!

Anyway, I can smile that today I am 13/40 - the second trimester! Just waiting to bloom... Any minute now...

ThereMustAndShallBeTea · 07/10/2014 08:23

Scan for me too! Good luck tea and lurker :) May our babies be cooperative and our photos clear.

Just coughed so hard I threw up, twice :(

TinyTear · 07/10/2014 08:36

NHS scan for me too!

Had the harmony one on friday, but today my DH can come with me...

TinyTear · 07/10/2014 10:32

Woohoo, so measuring 13+3 and the official due date is 11th April.

RiverRocks · 07/10/2014 10:34

Wow! Can't believe there are 4 of you getting scans today! How exciting. Make sure there are pictures for when I get in from work tonight Grin

daholster it sounds as if you are getting run down. You should go to doctors, because if it is an infection it could make you really ill before you get better. Don't forget you have a reduced immune system when you're pregnant anyway, and we're entering that time of year when everything is going around. Just take care of yourself Flowers

ThereMustAndShallBeTea · 07/10/2014 10:34

Lovely Tina :) Mine isn't until this afternoon

TinyTear · 07/10/2014 10:41

No pictures, they are a bit shit!
Grin
She was being a stubborn little madam and not cooperating too much...

BananaToast · 07/10/2014 10:55

Glad you had a nice scan Tiny, must have been lovely for your DH to see her!

Good luck to all others with scans today.

daholster · 07/10/2014 11:23

Exciting all these scans!

Thanks river - I just got back from Dr, he offered antibiotic tablets which I declined for now, or an antibiotic ear drop which I gratefully accepted! I told him I'd cope with what he thinks might be sinusitis for another week then see. He's given me some steroid mouth tablets for the ulcers since he thinks they might be related to a flare of my colitis, to see if that works - unfortunately can't get those til tomorrow. He checked my blood tests - iron levels low normal and not anaemic so that's good. Just poorly and run down!

Let's see where I an next week, I can always go back. Biggest exam if my life in 4 weeks, I really need to get to it but don't feel I have much to get to it with, and everything else seems to be getting on top of me and trying to win!!! Dh's birthday on Friday and I've done nothing.... Eek!

Lauren82000 · 07/10/2014 12:32

You can always stick a bow on yourself if your feeling better. Wink

minipie · 07/10/2014 12:58

Wow, the scans are coming in thick and fast! Good luck to all those still to have them.

TinyTear congrats on your girl Smile we are in the same position, one DD already and now know we have another on the way! DD was very excited when we told her about having a baby sister but I think she hasn't a clue what it really means.... she cried when we went to the shops and came back without a baby!

Thanks for the reminder about flu jabs... think I might get it this time.

TinyTear · 07/10/2014 13:02

Aw mini that is so cute... we might not tell DD until she notices or Christmas whichever comes first. she will be 3 in January and at the moment it's too soon for her to wait...

londonlivvy · 07/10/2014 13:04

Thanks for the tip about flu jabs. I will give the surgery a call.

I'm still waiting for the letter with the combined risk assessment after our scan last Thursday. A nerve wracking wait for the postie each day. Argh.

So very tired at the moment, DD is teething and has me up twice a night at least plus have a very sore neck and head which paracetamol isn't touching. Lots of stretching but god I'd love a migraine tablet which would sort me out!

Ref the various forms, I think the MAT1B is for maternity pay. The midwife supplies it at sixteen weeks or so? The Maternity exemption certificate is something else entirely. My doctor gave me a form at the first meeting at about six weeks which she signed and which I had to send off. I then got a card in the post for free prescriptions and dentistry etc.

cinnamongreyhound · 07/10/2014 13:27

Sorry you're feeling rubbish LondonLivvy! Hope a couple of good nighs sleep come your way soon!

How about some zinc and vitC daholster? Glad you've got something for the ulcers they really make you miserable. My dh has a theory that the close the pain is too your head the harder it is to deal with, ulcers make me proper grumpy!

Glad your dh got to see your little girl TinyTear!

Hope all went well for everyone else with scans today!

We do need to update stats with all these adjustments to dates :) there is a thread somewhere I think!

TinyTear · 07/10/2014 13:47

BTW just a silly question, is there also a FB group, or are you all just here?

I do spend a bit of time on FB, mostly in my Feb 2012 group, and wouldn't mind an April 15 one either

prevlurker123 · 07/10/2014 13:47

Scan all good here! Do have a great pic but not wanting to upload just yet. All very smooth process and no change in due dates. Since it was my first scan at 12w it was really surreal, I was thinking wow that thing is actually inside me!! Really great experience though and looking forward to telling people now!

TinyTear · 07/10/2014 13:51

Hooray Lurker!!

TeaAfficionado · 07/10/2014 13:52

Scan all good here too - baby was keen to show off their gymnastic ability by standing on their head! So relieved to see that they are actually 'in there'.

Meant I could tell Grandma she's going to be a great-Grandma for the 10th time so she was very excited :-) (My mum has been wanting to gossip with her for weeks!!)

TinyTear · 07/10/2014 14:23

Great news Tea
