Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

Hehehe!

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 20:31

Do they listen to baby's heartbeat at first mw appointment? Mines on thurs. It's daft I know but I'd really like reassurance that's it's actually there Hmm

RPopz · 19/09/2014 20:35

Is it the booking app La? They just ask you loads of questions about you and DH and your health. Nothing to do with the baby really. I don't think they can reliably monitor the heartbeat externally until about 16 weeks anyway x

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 20:54

Yes, oh well...I just get nervous there's going to be nothing in there! My friend had heart beat listened to at 7 weeks but it was a special appointment because she was bleeding.

RPopz · 19/09/2014 20:59

You can get viability scans from 5 weeks. But you have to pay for them privately. And obviously you're still in uncertain territory til 12 weeks.

I know how you feel though. I was terrified we were going to turn up to the dating scan and be told there was nothing in there!!

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 21:20

I think it's coz everyone else seems to have morning sickness and my mum had it at 6 weeks but I don't. It's making me worry

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 21:23

Sorry I feel like I'm banging on here and if course everyone's got their own worries. Sorry guys x

RPopz · 19/09/2014 21:26

Don't be daft, we were all the same!! Thanks xx

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 21:42

la don't worry about fretting on here! we do it all the time! If you're really worried get a private scan, they're about £40 or £50 I think but I've heard group on etc often do offers?

And just remind yourself of the symptoms you do have, not everyone has sickness, you have the wind and the boobs!

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 21:42

Thank you all for pram advice btw :)

KatoPotato · 19/09/2014 21:46

La, other than the wind and occasional constipation I feel okay too, but remember with my DS I had no idea I was pg until I was 20weeks! So I'm maybe just not an Ms person?

Oh and the tears. I'm crying A LOT lately...

KatoPotato · 19/09/2014 21:47

The BOOBS!!! argh!!!

TabbyTurmoil · 19/09/2014 21:55

La I didn't have any sickness at 6 weeks, think it started at about 7 weeks. My secretary never had it at all and she's 24 weeks now.

TabbyTurmoil · 19/09/2014 21:56

Zyla that pram looks swishty! Had no idea they come in so many colours.

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 21:59

Thanks guys. Boobs yes! Boobs feel and look ridiculous. If I wasn't me id look at me and laugh

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 22:00

Loved all the prams you guys mentioned! Will do some research later down line. Have already got nursery colour scheme in my head

Nessalina · 19/09/2014 23:23

La - we all did the exact same thing! 'Ooh, why don't I feel sick, I'm a bit worried, what if it's all in my head...' Flash forward three weeks 'OMFG I feel like shiiiiit... Why did I ever wish for morning sickness???' Wink
Pokable sore boobs and killer wind will have to do you for now!
We went for red pram hood in the end - they are all fricking expensive, way more than I ever thought they'd be!
Apparently braxton hicks start really early on, but you only start to notice as the pregnancy progresses. I've not felt one yet to my knowledge, but then my bump feels tight all the time Confused 24 weeks is pretty normal though I think Popz!

Leela5 · 20/09/2014 05:52

Really bloomin early! On train to Birmingham for work...ug...

laurenamium · 20/09/2014 07:32

Morning viroids! Ill catch up later just checking in to say its private early scan day today! Nervous and excite all at once! Grin

Nessalina · 20/09/2014 07:52

Ooh good luck lauren!
Bloody hell la, that is a disturbing time to be up!! Confused

Leela5 · 20/09/2014 07:54

Oooh Lauren that's so exciting! Let us know how you get on x

wilmabedrock · 20/09/2014 07:58

Good luck Lauren.

La think I was 7 or 8 weeks before I started getting reliable symptoms.

HungryHorace · 20/09/2014 08:52

Good luck, Lauren!

You lot do talk, don't you?!

Nice windfall, Zyla. Have you decided what to get yet? I got a surprise £2,700 the other week from Barclays in relation to a loan where they'd sent inaccurate / incorrect paperwork (or something) in October 2008 and because of that they had to refund all interest paid from that date! It was amazing as I'd no idea it was coming. I was very sensible and paid off another loan with it. In the old days I'd have booked a holiday straight away. But no more! Sigh. :-/

So tired. DS is colicky / refluxy and it's very tiring. But poor thing can't help it, so we are just getting on with it and trying to help him as best we can.

Hope everyone is OK.

Congrats to all you new ladies. Huge surge of BFPs!

RPopz · 20/09/2014 09:22

Blimey La do you ever sleep??

Good luck today Lauren xx

RPopz · 20/09/2014 09:23

Oh and hi Horace!!
