Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

That is a weird dream!

Yeah I think it's a good outcome for social reasons, but not sensible to throw away the one chance to have any power over what happens in your country. Ah well. At least fb will be back to oversharing of baby photos and crap quotes about friendship Grin .

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 09:01

And videos of cats wil, don't forget those!

Pisghetti · 19/09/2014 09:50

I'm a little worried about how I'm going to find time to share all those baby photos especially when I go back to work. Digital/phone cameras weren't a 'thing' when I had DS so this baby is probably going to be photo'd a lot more than him. Hope he doesn't get a complex. He can't remember himself when film had to be taken to Boots/sent away in a little bag before you got your photos. And if it was a crap picture - tough!

I'm glad you're staying too but my brother and his family won't be happy as they were in the 'yes' camp. It was so close there'll be a lot of unhappy people. At least we have a chance of not being saddled with a conservative government forever now we continue to have Scotland's vote too selfish

wilmabedrock · 19/09/2014 10:13

Ah yes Cat vids! But they're quite sweet.

Unfortunately we rarely affect the vote Pis. If England wants fake tories Labour, they need to vote for them. Can you tell I'm bitter? Grin I personally think the south of England should have their own gov and we could have a union with Wales, Ireland and everywhere north of Birmingham Wink .

I'm just joking obvs. Let's get back to discussing this pram you're getting zyla!

TabbyTurmoil · 19/09/2014 10:21

Pis agreed, plus was worried it would get very nationalistic and UKIP-y down here at the election next year very selfish

Hopefully the extra devolution will mean that next time this comes round the practicalities will be in place so that the implications of independence would be clear.

wil I think we're getting an uppababy vista! just got to decide on colour! either the wheat or the black (or possibly red...I dunno!!)

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 10:30

My ipad quite often changes commas for exclamation marks. It's annoying :(

Nessalina · 19/09/2014 10:42

Ooh good choice Zyla, I really liked the Vista Smile

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 11:14

But what colouuuuuur whine

I really like the wheat, it's a little bit different, but will it show the dirt a lot? The black is very very black as the frame is also black, too dark? The red is nice, but we have red downstairs in the house, I don't want to look like I've tried to match too much (I'm a complete sad case I know!), so... Probably wheat or black, thoughts?

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 11:15

Also they've a new model out early next year, so might be able to get a current model one cheaper, you never know :)

laurenamium · 19/09/2014 11:49

Zyla I just had a stalk, I like the vista in the dark green! Couldn't see wheat though. The red one is nice too. I think as you will be using it out the house it doesn't matter if it matches the downstairs of your house too much Grin

wilmabedrock · 19/09/2014 11:55

i'd go for a colour. My pram is black and it annoys me.

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 12:01

DH likes the blue one but I wanted a gender neutral one in case we have another :)

The wheat is a sandy colour, usually doesn't look right online, not how it looks in the shops iyswim

Every now and again I'm tempted by the orange hehe, in other words, I still dunno!

minimooo · 19/09/2014 12:45

Just had a sneaky peek and the red one is lovely zyla. So's the wheat one - it's nice and fresh and crisp I would worry about keeping it clean though Confused

RPopz · 19/09/2014 13:30

We got a silver cross in "Sand" - Zyla which sounds like it's prob similar to wheat! My mum was adamant we shouldn't get it cos it'd get filthy and I ummed and aaahed about it a bit.... but it was so pretty! So we got it in the end Grin Opinion seems to be divided on whether it's a terrible idea or not... I can't see it'd get anymore dirty than a black one tbh.

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 13:58

I think I need to find somewhere that has all the colours lined up! Thanks for the reassurance about sand/wheat rpopz as that's my main worry about it

Pisghetti · 19/09/2014 14:06

I vote red just because I love the colour red Smile I'll probably be looking to get a red one whenever we get around to thinking about prams.

RPopz · 19/09/2014 17:55

The display pram we looked at was Sand. The shop assistant was very quick to point out to us that it'd been there a few months being fingered by all and sundry... and wasn't hugely dirty (though obvs hadn't had a baby in it or being outside!! Hmm )

RPopz · 19/09/2014 18:28

I think I'm having Braxton hicks but only because my tummy feels odd and like it hasn't felt before! I noticed it last night in bed... all tight and almost numb. Same again this afternoon at work. Not painful though, just weird. Too early? (24+6)

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 19:00

Omg just looked up those prams you've all mentioned - I had no idea how expensive prams are!

Just looked up braxton hicks too as had never heard of them.

Have realised I know absolutely sweet f all about pregnancy! Grin

Did anyone find their belt felt tight at 7 weeks? Just had to undo button and zip on trousers in car when driving back. Not sure if it's holiday weight or baby?

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 19:01

popz article I just read said from 16 weeks

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 19:08

I love the red one zyla!

ZylaB · 19/09/2014 19:09

la it'll be wind and bloating! lovely eh? :)

rpopz have a warm bath see if it eases them?

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 19:16

Oh crikey more wind? I'm just going to start tying a string to my foot in case I float off inadvertently. Doesn't help I'm also veggie! Grin

Leela5 · 19/09/2014 19:35

cookie it's your edd in a few days. Have you your bag packed? ;)
