Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

Had my baby shower today, lots of fun and lots of cake!! So many pressies, it was lovely My MIL bought us adorable Converse booties!! Sooo cute.

Eurgh, wedding was a bit of a nightmare tbh Wil .... probably more so because of being 6 months preg! Very pretentious yet badly organised. Pretty annoyed at how thoughtless they were really... if I was dragging everyone out to rural France at great expense to see me get married, I'd have organised everything to the bloody letter!!! Hey ho, it's over now at least x

Poor you Popz - I hate disorganised weddings! Especially where there's very little care taken over the welfare of the guests. I think the worse was when there was a 7hr gap between start of wedding and first food

Ooh, what else? Some adorable homemade things: crocheted booties (squee!) and a beautiful crocheted white blanket! About 6 v.cute outfits... Bibs, muslins, cot sheets, baby towel. Some lovely picture books - including the Mr Men! Some baby toys and other bits & bobs. Elmo booties! ooh, and chocs for me! Feeling very lucky & spoiled

Buffet lunch has lead to very unhappy stomach this evening mind you Doesn't take much to throw off my digestion these days!

Hoping I'll be on the grads thread still for a while, however I'm currently bed bound. If I get up the pain is excruciating and the bleeding gets heavier. I have had some lovely positive stories from people with threatened mc so I'm staying as calm as I can and hoping that my cervix stays closed. I really don't understand where all this blood could be coming from though, it's very disconcerting.

ness there is nothing cuter than baby shoes and socks - squeal! It sounds like your friends spoiled you and quite rightly! I have been to a few baby showed and I'm a massive fan of the cupcakes.

popz I totally agree - I can not stand it when you go to so much trouble and expense to attend a wedding and they then don't organise it properly. I went to one in Ireland - flew over, hotel etc. wedding at church then we got to reception - no welcome drink, nothing. Waited 2 hours whilst bride and groom were off at some stately home down the road getting photos done. Dinner for me (veggie) was microwaved curry with a plastic bit if naan. Yuck!

popz shame about the wedding. It's crap when they don't take much care of their guests. The cot and wardrobe look beautiful!

That's so annoying popz. I have to admit, the more weddings I go to, the less I get the point of them. In laws were on at us to get married yesterday. Even said they would help financially. I told them not to worry about it...

Popz it's a shame the wedding wasn't well organised! You would think with the amount of money that goes into them they would pay a bit of attention to the guests!

I always wonder if brides and grooms forget that guests usually travel the morning of the wedding so are usually hungrily and desperate for a drink by the time they get there. To make people wait ages with nothing to do or nowt to eat is below man!
We had a magician and food slung around. The pics were short as I wanted mostly candid shots and personally when I'm paying all the dough for a magician, I wanted to be in there!
I love magic!

I've been fairly lucky with wedding I think. I went to one in summer where the kitchen/serving staff got it horribly wrong and decided to send out all of each dish at a time rather than a table at a time meaning everyone who ordered beef got theirs first but that took ten minutes or so and then the chicken came out..... Beef people had to wait twenty minutes to get any veg as that came out last and we had to chase up my veggie option which arrived about half an hour later and was the size of a frigging vol-au-vent. THIS is why I get pissed at weddings - I'm not fed properly

Min I was the same,I didn't want my guests waiting while I had photos of me having pillow fights in a bath, so we asked for candid shots. Had a few posed pics but served canapés and drinks to guests while those were done. I think it's more important that I spoke to the people who had travelled from all over the world to be there.

Really scared today - how can I bleed this much? Surely it's bad

Oh and anyone who provides a rubbish veggie option - it's just frustrating! We have tastebuds too people

I'm deciding whether to tell work today. Leaning towards wimping out, but worried it's going to be obvious very soon if it isn't already. It just feels so personal - I even freaked out about telling my dad. I guess I'll have to get over that quickly when I really start showing...
