Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

I'm desperate for fast forward to tomorrow morning when I have scan. Boobs still sore but have decreased again in size. Just want reassurance of scan to let me know it's actually there :)

Leela5 · 23/09/2014 16:30

It must feel like forever for those of you between the 12 and 20 week scans. But know what you mean about not wishing pregnancy away

ZylaB · 23/09/2014 16:48

That's why I'm paying for a scan tomorrow la too long until 20 weeks and I'm having a proper worry :(

KatoPotato · 23/09/2014 16:49

My scan isn't until the 3rd November! I am living each day in terror!

Had to tell my Mum at the weekend after I shouted 'Oh Fuck OFF!' then ran upstairs sobbing after DH had the audacity to ask me 'What do you want me to say to you?'

She found me in a self indulgent slump but told me it was far too early days and anything can happen, so basically I shouldn't have told her.

This upset me even more, and I've heard her make similar remarks about early pg before, but I guess that's just how she is. The way I saw it was that whatever happens I'd still want her support?

Feeling sad again..

Nessalina · 23/09/2014 17:13

Aww, don't be sad Kato Sad Early pregnancy is super stressful and along with the extra hormones it's SO hard for people to say the right thing! I was just a nightmare for the first 12 weeks Blush Definitely worth an early scan if the pennies will stretch, but if not, try not to stress, you'll feel better soon!

Now cheer up the lot of you, or I'll post a picture of my stretch marks!! Wink

Leela5 · 23/09/2014 17:27

Awww kato I'm sending you a hug Hmm that's not fair of her. I know people are careful about waiting til 12 weeks but it's good to tell some people close to you for support.

zyla scan buddy Smile let us know how you get on xx

Leela5 · 23/09/2014 17:28

I want to see stretch marks!

Nessalina · 23/09/2014 17:35

Lol! Not sure you do La... Confused I took a pic this morning to send to my mum for sympathy.
She messaged back and said 'time to stop eating for two eh?' Hmm
Aren't mums great?!

RPopz · 23/09/2014 17:47

Hugs Kato

Hooray for flat selling La Grin What times the scan tomorrow?

Boobs get worse before they get better unfortunately!

I def wished away the first trimester... through desperation to get to the scan and that "safe zone". Wasn't too bad after that and up to the 20 week scan. Only started feeling scanxious a day or so before! Since then I've been wishing time away to look more pregnant... and now I'm wishing time away til baby! Think it's pretty natural.

A lady who works in my building announced her pregnancy today by bringing her scan pic in... found myself getting all nostalgic for early pregnancy! Shock

RPopz · 23/09/2014 17:48

Haha, mum's always know just the right thing to say eh.... Hmm

Minion · 23/09/2014 18:05

Ahhh mums!
And we're going to be the subject of the same conversations in a few decades!
Ha! Poor kids eh!
Great news on the flat la, have a great time at the scan! I hope it relaxes you x
Minions boobs went away during the second tri, but may be growing speedily now, started to go hard at the sides, bit like when you're due on (ohhh nooo, 3 months till ERTD shows up again..booooo)

Husband has just got himself a gold star. He was watching weird foods America earlier and they were eating dirty hotdogs so his craving was hotdogs, went out to the shop and just came back with a booming chorus of 'gifts for my two favourite people'... Awwwwww. I nearly sobbed. He's bought me some toffifee and the bean a fluffy sleep suit.

Bless him.

Hope all yours are behaving more today.

RPopz · 23/09/2014 18:30

Awww Smile Mr P is taking me to Lazy Daisy and then taking me out for tea apparently Smile (hysterical preggo crying FTW Wink )

ZylaB · 23/09/2014 18:36

It's nice when they're sweet isn't it rpopz my DH just brought me some lovely flowers dos I crued down the phone that I'd been stressing all day and had thrown up and generally had a rubbish day.

Being taken places and for tea after is win :)

ZylaB · 23/09/2014 18:37

*cos I cried

Nessalina · 23/09/2014 18:47

Ha! I just had a meltdown on DH this afternoon because I didn't want to get the bus into town to buy bras Grin (baby is too high up for underwires now!) He was a bit bemused!
He ended up saying I could buy a load of sizes online and he'd take back any that didn't fit for me Smile Definite man points!

RPopz · 23/09/2014 18:49

I think they're all just terrified ha!

Bit scared about Lazy Daisy... its like first day at school! Confused

RPopz · 23/09/2014 18:52

Have you worn underwire up til now Ness? I'm terrible, haven't got any new bras yet... STILL squashing myself into old ones Blush Plus I keep hearing apparently we're not supposed to wear underwire anyway! My poor boobs.

wilmabedrock · 23/09/2014 18:55

I am so glad you all also have pessimistic mothers. When I told mine about my abscess she chose to tell me that her grandfather died of a dental abscess. Well gee, thanks.

Min, just breastfeed and then you probably won't get ERTD for ages although you will have lumpy, leaky boobs and deformed nipples Grin .

I'm in bed already.

laurenamium · 23/09/2014 19:04

HELP! DD has drawn around her mouth with blue felt tip in the style of lipstick while she was at the childminders. And it's not washing off ConfusedConfused

Thank goodness for well behaved DPs! Mines away working/ fighting again for a few nights so he can't annoy me or gain man points he would probably more likely annoy me Grin

JuniDD · 23/09/2014 19:15

hello all, man, you viroids chat. I've been offline a bit lately, not sure spending my days on Mumsnet is the best thing!

Hugs all round for those who need them, sounds like there's a lot of hormones rushing around!

Get yourselves some Bravado bras, they are LUSH. So soft and comfy. Smile

I'm feeling smug because the cat keeps trying to get in the pram (which is parked in the living room) and I just put the rain cover on it. Ha, in your face cat!

Midwife on Friday to do birth plan and the rest of the week to work myself up into a massive stress!

ZylaB · 23/09/2014 19:19

juni I read somewhere about putting tinfoil in or on anything you don't want cats to sit on, prams, cots etc. apparently they hate the way it feels and the sound it makes so learn not to sit on it. Worth a try?

KatoPotato · 23/09/2014 19:26

Lauren! Use hand sanitiser to remove ink!!!

Leela5 · 23/09/2014 19:34

My bra is off by 5:30 these days - too uncomfortable need to get new ones.

I hate sitting at desk at the moment - stomach puffs up with gas and is really sore. Glamour!

Aww your dps are all being very sweet today!

popz lazy daisy looks cool I just googled it

juni my cat behaviourist pal said out lots of uncomfortable stuff in pram or cot til baby arrives - cat learns it's not comfy place to be. Unfortunately mine love foil! We play with balls of foil so they come running if they hear it

Scan is 8:10am - eek!

laurenamium · 23/09/2014 19:43

Thank you Kato! I've asked on Facebook too so I'm putting a list together for tomorrow when she wakes up Grin

JuniDD · 23/09/2014 19:45

I put plastic bags in it because he hates them. But apparently he does not. Bloody animal! He'd lie on spikes to spite me, I tell ya.

Popz Lazy Daisy is great, I need to practise my movements now I think of it. I tell you, between my hypnotherapy, movements, perineal massage and time staring out of the window, my days are FULL! Wink

I've grown out of my 34D maternity bras if anyone wants a black one or a nude one (washed of course!). They're the nurture ones by Debenhams which are great. I'm happy to pop them in the post.
