Just Shagging 12th Thread for graduated viroids

FurryScoob · 16/09/2014 16:51

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 11th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 27th outing.

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal here once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a secret facebook group, if you want to join, ask in-thread.

So, roll call below please, viroids! smile

Oh an iPhone 6! Are they any good? Before I went shopping I liked the quinny moodd and the myla from mamas and papas. But now I've changed my mind and I like the orb (I think it's a mothercare one?) in teal Grin the car seats were bright orange. I can't remember what they were called now but were in every shop

laurenamium · 21/09/2014 15:12

orb pram pushchair!

laurenamium · 21/09/2014 15:15

www.mothercare.com/Cybex-Solution-Q-Fix-Car-Seat--Autumn-Gold/630683,default,pd.html car seat for DD. there's a matching one too for baby

ZylaB · 21/09/2014 16:15

Looks good lauren :)

RPopz · 21/09/2014 16:29

Oooh that is luuurvely Lauren - looks super expensive Wink

Haha, La I did laugh at your doubly comical boobs Grin

Babypopz is now right down in my foof.... Hmm How does it manage this exactly!?

Minion · 21/09/2014 16:31

I've just made my christmas cake but paying for it now. My hips and thighs are killing, so am off for a bath.
At 4;30 on a Sunday!
How decadent.
Seriously though, anyone else suffering with hippage problems? Almost feels like my thighs been twisting all the way round. I suspect it's the multiple times getting in and out the car this morning.
Sundays.. Day of rest... Ha! Someone tell Mr Minion please.

Leela5 · 21/09/2014 17:16

Ooh zyla what's iPhone 6 like?

Babies in ribs, babies in foofs?

What's the world coming to?

lauren that's a swanky seat!

Phoned gp as spot got bit heavier. Dr phoned back and I've got to go for early scan. I've already booked early scan for wed. Perhaps this means It will be brought forward.

min I was born with hip dysplasia so get dodgy hips. Non pg related though. Make sure you get lots of rest off your feet

Minion · 21/09/2014 17:21

Thinking of you la

RPopz · 21/09/2014 17:25

No can do Min - I am a Sunday jobs Nazi too.... Will let you off though preggers. Hope the bath sorts you out x

Oh La - you sound like you're being very calm xx Thanks

Leela5 · 21/09/2014 17:32

Not calm - in car driving 4 hours back from Birmingham hoping it's stopped by time I get home. No cramps so that's positive

couldbeanyone · 21/09/2014 17:37

La having gone through the spotting thing/early scan over the last few weeks do try not to worry (easier said than done of course). It is very common, far more common than I realised, and lack of pain appears from what the doctors told me and the information leaflet they have me is positive.

I can talk, having had a mild panic last night when I had a tiny bit more spotting.

Everything crossed for you.

Leela5 · 21/09/2014 18:03

Thanks could I'm trying mind over matter and pretending all is fine :) got 3 colleagues on car I've had to tell I'm pg coz I had to explain why id gone white as a sheet and needed to sit down plus dr phoned whilst I was in car so it was obvious. They are being very sweet about it.

Sorry to hear you went through it too and lauren too - is everything ok now?

Leela5 · 21/09/2014 18:04

I think perhaps I've overdone it these last few days and just need to chill

RPopz · 21/09/2014 18:18

One thing I've learned from these forums is that it's so common - like could says. And it rarely means the worst. I think it's actually listed as a pregnancy symptom in one of my books. Bless you for having to tell your colleagues, keep positive xxx

RPopz · 21/09/2014 18:18

Chilling definitely sounds in order!! You've had a hectic weekend! Brew

laurenamium · 21/09/2014 18:21

Definitely rest up la! Thinking of you and hopefully they will scan you in the next couple of days and everything will show fine! I'm sure it will!

The pushchair is cheaper than the one I first looked at popz so I can get a posher car seat for DD I tell myself this anyway Smile

Spent the afternoon riding and took DD for a ride too, it's been lovely. She had her first "gallop" which involved me sprinting through a field so the pony could run fast enough! I've definitely earnt a meal out with DP tonight! Grin

couldbeanyone · 21/09/2014 18:29

Hi la yes all ok now had scan this week and definitely a baby and heartbeat there, just over 8 wks now. Still getting the odd bit of spotting but told not to be concerned as all looks fine on scan.

ZylaB · 21/09/2014 18:43

Fx la like people have said spotting can be fairly common, hopefully scan will show everything's ok xx

could that's good news :)

For those who asked iPhone 6 seems nice! Just waiting for my number to be transferred over.

RPopz · 21/09/2014 19:49

Has killer acid reflux. Orders curry. #pregnancylogic

Nessalina · 21/09/2014 20:59

Evening all!

Just got back from 'active birth' class at the hospital! It was very interesting. Watched a Dutch birthing video from 1988 Grin Showed EVERYTHING Shock DH looked a bit traumatised. Got to have a good look round the delivery suite too which was very useful. They've got three rooms with birthing pools so I'm crossing my fingers that one will be free when the time comes!

Good work Popz - I had a massive carvery which actually seems to have worked wonders for the heart burn!

Min - my hips & thighs are very unhappy with me at the moment Hmm Doing rather a lot of lazing about at the minute!

La - I'm impressed that you're being so chilled out, really hope you're feeling ok Thanks I had some spotting early on about 7 weeks, then had rather a big bleed at about 14 weeks, but all was ok. It is super common, but always scary Sad If you're having a free early scan at the EPU does that mean you'll cancel the private one and save some pennies at least?

TabbyTurmoil · 21/09/2014 21:49

la Keeping fingers crossed that all will be well (I'm sure it will) but glad to hear your gp is looking after you. Hope you get the scan soon. What a horrible shock to have when you're away from home and with colleagues - big hugs to you.

ness eek to the video! I'm staying in birth denial for as long as possible!

popz I have rubbish heartburn but am unable to bear that in mind when making food decisions - had curry last night and mega garlicky pasta sauce tonight.

min v impressed at the Xmas cake baking will you make me one please?

I have had a silly anxious day - I was on citalopram but tapered off at the start of the year to ttc. Most of the time it's fine but have a bit of stress at work and worries about scan next week have made today a struggle Sad, don't want to tell DH in case he worries I'm going to get bad again and he ends up looking after baby and scraping me off the ceiling at the same time...

littleluna89 · 21/09/2014 23:46

Oh zyla I desperately want the iPhone 6 plus (i have seen it, it is comically huge in my tiny hands, but I loves it!) But I'm waiting for hubby to find out what kind of discount he can get through work, so I'm basically having to avoid the city until the weekend so I don't get inpatient and try (and probably fail given my credit score) to get it in the mean time!

Anyone get terrible migraines during pregnancy and what did your doctor do about it? Midwife suggested dr might have to check it's not neurological but didn't explain how he'd do that... I'm mostly convinced it's not my glasses as I got these in March, which is less than year ago...

ZylaB · 22/09/2014 06:49

Luna the 6 is the same size as my old Samsung s3, the 6 plus is bigger though :)

ZylaB · 22/09/2014 06:50

Oh and DH and I were lucky we were both just outif contract for our old phones, so could upgrade and not have to spend a fortune. I'd have tried to be good and not get it otherwise :)

Leela5 · 22/09/2014 08:57

Morning all! lauren I was laughing at you sprinting along with a pony and a child bouncing up and down on the back :) how sweet!

ness was video more terrifying than obem?

tabby I suffer from anxiety and your post resonated with me completely. You're doing brilliantly - try not to spiral. I try to sit down and write everything out as when it's on paper it makes more sense and I can see solutions more easily.

Spent 25 min on hold to my gp surgery this morning - I hate my surgery it's far too busy and takes weeks to get an appointment. Had to then phone epu.

They've said monitor and go to early scan as planned on wed. I've got no more cramping than previously so I'm staying positive and willing my little bean to stay put.

Going to go to work now and try to put it out of my mind.
