Excited, I haven't washed anything yet but will be soon!

I had my first aquanatal today. It was very nice! Not too tiring but when I came out of the pool my bump felt so heavy!

Those Multi-Mam breast compresses sound good, Anna. Never heard of them before

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 10/09/2014 15:59

Believe it or not take away becomes boring and all you want is a home cooked meal n a lovely meal Sat in freezer is soooo nice. We also sometimes ate main meal at lunchtime when both of as less tired and baby more settled

Vicky5910 · 10/09/2014 17:58

Oh god you're all buying stuff and I still have nothing sorted. We are supposed to be waiting until we move to buy things but the date keeps getting pushed back!
I am soooooo tired. I've been back at work for a week, and I am so done in. I can't even talk when I get home, I'm just so tired, and I spent half an hour trying to plan a lesson and all I wrote was 'what t'... Then I forgot what I was trying to ask! 6 weeks and 2 days more of this! :(

bunnykitten · 10/09/2014 18:45

I have Ewan and other non-essentials on my Amazon baby list (I caved in to requests from relatives to set the list up for gift ideas). I just have to avoid buying everything on it myself now!

Could someone please invite/add me to the Facebook group? I promise I'll still continue to post nonsense here too...

Kantha · 10/09/2014 19:02

I have a spreadsheet with everything I need to do on it (procrastination).

No sign of me actually doing it yet. Certainly no sign of a nesting instinct kicking in. House is a tip.

One tab of the spreadsheet is Christmas. I have a notion of getting Christmas presents sorted this month then having no hassles in Nov/Dec. This is totally out of character for me. I am more of a 20 something of Dec shopper.

So whilst the baby clothes remain unwashed I have bought all the presents for the cousins. Confused

star87 · 10/09/2014 19:59

Hi,

Just checking in ?? due on 1st November with baby number 2! Already have a DD aged 11 months.

Getting really fed up this time around and really struggling with everything! ?? not long to go!

haventgotaclue1 · 10/09/2014 20:06

OK, warning: this is me having a whinge session. Don't read if you want to stay chirrpy.

Today, for the 1st time so far, I've felt really crap and have had a shite day at work. Arm hurts SO much from whooping cough jab; legs really ache and I can barely walk upright; have a cracking headache; and can barely keep my eyes open Sad.

That's it. Moan over.

On a brighter note, Ewan is also on my wish list (but still classified as an "essential" item Grin).

excitedforbaba I've also washed EVERYTHING - brand new or hand-me-downs. It's all gone in the wash.

star87 · 10/09/2014 20:18

It must be one of those days haventgotaclue1!

haventgotaclue1 · 10/09/2014 20:27

That's what I'm hoping star Smile. Tomorrow's another day and all that...

Vicky5910 · 10/09/2014 21:38

Don't worry haventgotaclue after reading my post yours sounds downright chipper! I am a moaning winge face!

excitedforbaba · 10/09/2014 22:58

haven't got a my washing machine has been on the go all afternoon! All sleepsuits and vests are washed and air drying! The sheets and blankets will go tomorrow!

Also having an achey day today! My back hurts I have a toothache which is hurting my head but I have a weird pain in my bump when I move. Dr Google suggests ligament pains but I think I'll make an appointment tomorrow to be sure

weeonion · 11/09/2014 08:27

Morning all!!!! Time and gestation moving on!!

just checking in to say hi, have been too busy with work to be checking in and posting.

hoping you are all grand.

ps - where is random internet / mrsdjnr these days - occupying Facebook thread???

amy83firsttimer · 11/09/2014 09:37

I was wondering that yesterday. And alita?
31+3 today and everyone says it's flying by but I think the whole process takes waaaaaay too long. So bored. Excited, but bored, if that makes any sense?!

barmybunting · 11/09/2014 10:19

You all sound very organised with all of this shopping and batch cooking planned, I feel rather disorganised! I went shopping yesterday for hospital bag stuff and some other baby clothes we need. I have ended up buying far too many clothes and no hospital bag stuff! Oh well.

Kantha · 11/09/2014 10:37

Meant to say yesterday regarding changing bags. After DS2 came along I decided that if I had a few more years of lugging nappies around I would treat myself to a nice bag having made do with a small bag that came with the original travel system for DS1. I got a burgundy leather OiOi bag off eBay (so a bit of a bargain). I love it and it's still in good nick for DC3.

bunnykitten · 11/09/2014 12:42

Good grief, I just had a heart attack thinking I had discovered my first stretch mark, a large red line up my entire belly. It's actually the mark from the seam in my tights Blush

barmy I'm feeling quite disorganised, I still need to empty the room that will become the nursery! Hope it's ok that I Pm'd you my email address to add me to the Facebook group...?!

CraziesTogether · 11/09/2014 12:55

eastmids I have to ask, what is cowboy pie?

WinterLover · 11/09/2014 13:28

After my scare on Monday im half organised, half disorganised. House is a tip, im in pain and just cba! I do have hospital bags ready, all baby stuff is ready, plan for DS when I go into labour is sorted. im just a jibering mess Sad

Annarose2014 · 11/09/2014 13:32

bunny I had a full on weepy meltdown over "my 1st stretchmark" a few wks ago - it disappeared half an hour later....Blush

Yesterday I popped into TKMaxx & found an amazing nappy bag - Badabing Paternity Satchel - marked down by a whole 2/3rds!!! Steal! Flipping delighted with myself.

So, everyone check TKMaxx!

Antenatal class this morning - we had to hold ice (!!) in our hands for one whole minute whilst doing breathing exercises to mimic the idea of a contraction. Definately brought it home it wasn't gonna be easy!

ToniWol · 11/09/2014 14:03

If they try that with me I may have to duck out Anna - I have Raynauds so if I try to hold ice in my hand for a minute my fingers are likely to turn white!

32 wk appointment this morning - everything continues normal and Blueberry is growing properly (if anything a little small as FH was 31 and am 32 wks tomorrow) which is good.

At least the hip ache seems to have eased - not sure if it's to do with the fact I made DH blow up my gym ball last night and spent a good couple of hours sat on it.

blamber · 11/09/2014 14:24

Well I guess it's my turn to have one of those days! Didnt sleep well with hip pain and worries. Baby has been getting the hiccups more often this last week, about 4-5 times a day. Last night it happened twice when I turned over to my other side. So now I'm worried he's caught in his cord or something. I shouldn't be worried, as I don't think the hiccups are excessive. Still I'll ask the midwife next week.

Then on my way to work there were loads of idiots in traffic stressing me out and my legs are weak too.

On the bright side, only 4 days of work left! Then I can get organised and prepare for the baby. Plenty to do!

weeonion · 11/09/2014 16:55

:-) at mentions of stretch marks! I have many beautiful faint white lines on my tummy from last time. I honestly don't mind them and none have been added this time. Still gave 6 weeks to go tho!

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 11/09/2014 18:10

Cowboy pie is diced sausages fried with onions n mushrooms cooled in oven dish and tinned beans added - top with mashed potatoes or mashed root veg and grated cheese and bake for 30mins. (I sometimes use left over roast pork instead sausages)

haventgotaclue1 · 11/09/2014 20:28

blamber, 4 days left???!!!! I am SOOOOOOOO jealous Envy - lucky, lucky you Grin. I've got 5 weeks and 1 day left and really can't wait.

Sorry that it's your turn to have one of those days...definitely have my sympathy. Must say that today has been a bit better - although another shocker of a night's sleep (back ache, arm aching, woke up with heart burn) - got better during the day. Bonus is that legs don't ache so much now and arm is loosening up again (think tonight's aqua natal must have helped with that). Am really hoping for a a semi decent sleep tonight Smile

haventgotaclue1 · 11/09/2014 20:29

PS, bunny, your "stretch mark" discovery made me crease up - proper hurt my stomach from laughing so much Grin
