I can't be the only one due in May 2015... So here goes, a shiny new thread.

I have to sneak in here to discuss all things pregnancy/baby related because this is a surprise DC5! Shhhh! Don't tell anyone!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Justyouwaitandsee · 31/08/2014 15:34

Hi lizzy - I am also due on 4th May. May the fourth be with you Wink

We have told our immediate families this weekend and our parents are over the moon.

I still don't have any real symptoms. My body seems to want me to eat healthy food, which is helpful. I can't fancy chocolates or biscuits etc. I am not feeling sick and no changes to my boobs etc but I an quite tired today. I did another CB digi on Friday and it reassuringly came up as 3+ weeks. Did you do another test in the end kitty?!

Arendsmummy · 31/08/2014 15:38

Was going to ask kitty the same I've ordered mine on good old amazon it's being delivered tomorrow think I'm going to wait till Wednesday to test tho just incase i conceived later and don't get my 3+ ild be worrying lol xx

fififolle · 31/08/2014 16:28

Oh my goodness, I'd forgotten about the constant nausea. I can't even tell DH I feel sick, I can just about mange to tell him I feel 'S'!
Huge boobage already and like Justyouwaitandsee I can't face chocolate! instead craving 'clean food' during the odd 5 min slots that I feel hungry!

KittyVonCatsington · 31/08/2014 18:06

Sorry ladies! I chickened out of testing again! Today is the first day where I don't feel permanently on edge so didn't want to spoil it. Today I am pregnant and that's all I need to know Grin

Thanks fifi that had me laughing out loud. Especially the women who yelled at her mother "you have no idea what this is like!"

Genius.

plinkyplonks · 31/08/2014 18:12

Bwhahah :) I keep on bloody testing because I want the damn 3+ weeks showing on my Clearblue digi :D. The crazy things we do :D

MamaLazarou · 31/08/2014 18:46

Hello, can I join you? I got my BFP yesterday morning - at long last!

I had some very slight spotting this morning which I believe to be implantation bleeding. But then I did another test just now and it was negative. I wish I hadn't done it. I didn't really need a wee and only managed about 4 or 5 seconds when it was supposed to be 10. I should discount it as inconclusive, right?

I definitely feel pregnant and am getting weird shooting pains in my breasts which I had in my first pregnancy. Wah! My head is all over the place.

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 31/08/2014 19:52

Welcome aboard and congratulations ladies!

Is it may yet? Or at least time for the 12 week scan so I can tell people?

Haily111 · 31/08/2014 20:32

Thank you Smile
I have had v v sore boobs (didn't have this with me previous two dc's) had slight nausea but seems to have settled. Also have slight acid indigestion. Had this with my son.i also cant wait to get to scan date.

Am so nervous about it this time tho Hmm got tummy aches etc and petrified every time i go to loo :(

CockBollocks · 31/08/2014 21:17

Can I join in? Due date should be about 4th May. DC3.

KittyVonCatsington · 31/08/2014 21:35

Hi Mama! Stop testing! A line is a line Grin

Hi Cock good to see you over here!

Sounds like we are all going to be nervous together Haily. Glad it seems to be normal Smile

LinaDee · 31/08/2014 21:58

Totally understand what you're feeling Haily! Dreading every wipe! It's so nerve wracking and such a worry at what should be a really happy, exciting time. I just keep telling myself to be positive and do my best to relax - always easier said than done, I know!

I got my BFP on Friday night and did a clear blue digi last night that said 2-3 weeks. I'm not sure whether I should go to the docs tomorrow to have them confirm. After my last experience, I feel so nervous about the whole thing. Should I wait or just go?
Im hoping when I see the midwife at 8 weeks she'll be able to arrange a reassurance scan.

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 31/08/2014 22:55

Those of you looking for reassurance scans have you previously had losses?

I'm in two minds about having one as I've had a 9 week mc before having previously been scanned at 8 and been told all was well. I don't want to scare anyone but i don't know what to do for the best with this scan stuff. I don't want to get my hopes up iyswim

Haily111 · 01/09/2014 07:05

That is a good point. I would like to have one done but cant really justify the money at the moment x

fififolle · 01/09/2014 07:14

I had a scan at 7 weeks with DC#1 as I'd had some light bleeding- but I think that was more due to my strange body and short luteal phase.
It was very reassuring to see his tiny heart beat.
Hi Cock congratulations on your BFP, I remember you from the August bus.
Congrats Mama I had a bit of a wobble last week as I'd had Pregnant 1-2 weeks in CB digital then re tested with a could of other brands which didn't show much at all Confused. I was reliably informed by Kitty that blue dye pg tests are shite and got two good lines on a FRer.

Threesoundslikealot · 01/09/2014 07:30

Hi, new people.

I'm having a bit of a stress this morning! I did a digital test and it came up 2-3 weeks, even though I am still only 4+0. I'm also feeling sick in the morning already even though it took till 5/6 weeks for that to start in my other pregnancies. I'm fretting that it's twins, although I have nothing to suggest that in my history. My fear is that I've recently had very painful ovulation, which isn't usual for me, and I'm wondering if I've been releasing more than one egg. I am quite an old gimmer which makes it more likely. I'm probably being silly, but aargh.

KittyVonCatsington · 01/09/2014 07:37

ididn't -yes, I've had a loss and that's the main reason why I've enquired about an early scan.

three A couple of other posters also got 2-3 weeks, a day or so after the 4 week day. You're probably fine unless you are all having twins! Painful ovulation isn't an indicator of multiples either-even if you don't normally get pain. Try to relax! even though I know it's bloody hard and I need to listen to my own advice!

honeysucklejasmine · 01/09/2014 07:47

Hello! Got a very faint BFP this morning. #1, EDD 11/05. A bit surprised! Had convinced myself it would be negative. Still not sure. Will test again tomorrow for a darker line.Smile

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 01/09/2014 08:03

Well no point for an early scan for me. Have had a massive bleed this morning so looks like my time here is done.

Wishing you all safe pregnancies

Threesoundslikealot · 01/09/2014 08:05

I'm so sorry, Ididn't. Are you OK?

ElisaGirl · 01/09/2014 08:13

ididntsee, so sorry that's horrible news. Hope you're ok, will be thinking of you

threes I think the way the CB dig works is to do with implantation so some people are faster than others. You may have been just on the point of 1-2 and 2-3 wks?

Welcome to everyone new and congratulations!

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 01/09/2014 08:25

Not really three but I won't be maudling on a positive thread

Threesoundslikealot · 01/09/2014 08:36

Maudle away, please. And that was a crass question, I'm sorry. I meant more are you being looked after?

Ididntseeitsoitdidnthappen · 01/09/2014 08:37

My husband is here but not sure what use he's going to be! SmileShock

Justyouwaitandsee · 01/09/2014 08:40

Oh ididnt - I am so, so sorry. Sending hugs and Flowers to you xxx
