Congratulations Dani, you must be so relieved. I'm celebrating on your behalf with a packet of chocolate digestives. Really want baklava now though :)

Lucy90 · 27/08/2014 11:34

Dani thats such good news i bet youre so relieved

PolytheneGirl · 27/08/2014 11:44

Great news Dani, go celebrate!!

LotsaTuddles · 27/08/2014 11:51

Really thought I'd posted here on Saturday and then panicked that the thread had disappeared from my threads I'm on Blush

Baby's been kicking me in the ribs constantly, I'm sure she thinks it's funny.

Going on holiday on Friday and just noticed I haven't got enough metoclopramide, so trying to sort out with dr to get me a prescription. Going to be a fun week in a caravan with PiLs, SiL, DNieces, DH and DS if not Confused

Danibogs · 27/08/2014 12:07

Thank you all-just so happy Smile Taken the rest of the day off work and will definitely take your advice to celebrate with yummy things! Hope you are all ok x

CatFaceCrayola · 27/08/2014 15:10

Ooh, excellent news Dani :)

We are waiting for taxi to the airport and I am feeling very on edge. Travel always causes me panic but pregnant travel seems to be worse.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 27/08/2014 17:32

Packed out Eden project in the rain, no raincoat, parked in the furthest carpark utterly exhausted meltdown. DP owes me sunshine. And a luxury bed.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 27/08/2014 17:52

Are you still camping BHLS?? Maybe a Premier Inn for your last night for a bath and a bed!?

My day went entirely to plan - I did nothing Grin volunteer was texting me and messaging me on Whatsapp which needs nipping in the bud, but I just keep telling myself: only three months left!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 27/08/2014 18:16

Baby is wriggling and it's making me feel a bit gross and icky Confused

SassehMonsta · 27/08/2014 18:19

Also have mid-week, mid-pregnancy apathy. Just can't be bothered.

My mobile is hating MN so I'm going to copy and paste my Qs from facebook now I'm on the computer... (if the dog gets off my arm!!)

Had 25 week mw apt today. Asked if she thought they was any chance of me being on the midwife led unit... She said no, next to none. Booo. Labour ward it is then!!

Didnt get belly measured (24+4) but she will measure my belly next time (4weeks from now). No weighing or testing etc except urine dip. Heard.heartbeat though, nice n strong around 140ish. Baby decided to kick/hit the monitor to begin with!!

Now booked in for:
GTT at 26ish weeks, bloods (pre-anti-D) at 28 weeks, Anti-d 28.5 weeks, another consultant visit at 32 weeks. And anasthetic team at some point around 30? No idea. Genetics are sending me and dh a letter incase we want testing done but it would be done at the drs not at the general. Phew!

Remembered to ask for a mat1b thingy. Hurrah! Will photocopy for DH to take to work tomorrow.

How much is too much with milk production/expressing at this stage? I seem to be producing a lot.. To the point where today Im actually going to express when they hurt/ache/feel heavy but into a pot so I can see how much!!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 27/08/2014 18:48

Yep I am still camping. Theres been really fun bits bit some really shit bits too. Today was horrible and am stuck in traffic on way back from eden project and am starving. Wish we could premier inn it but DP would never ever go with that. Hes like a shorter black Country Bear Grylls. I'm cold, fed up and hungry.
No idea about milk production... not had any, should I be worried?

Ladylel · 27/08/2014 19:00

Great news dani such a relief to hear good news.
Anyone starting to feel nauseous again? Almost ms again? Have googled and think it's normal for coming up to 3rd tri. Only based on the fact I cannot stand certain smells mainly cooked pork anymore i.e bacon and sausage in the grill! Vom!

SassehMonsta · 27/08/2014 19:23

Don't worry BHLS, seems the consensus on FB was that I'm in the minority here with milk! It's not as much as I thought now I've (hand) expressed into a pot, but its more than the rest of you! :P

monkeybaby2 · 27/08/2014 19:24

Hurrah Dani, that's great news!

And BHLS, no milk is completely normal and milk is completely normal. Just repeat the mantra 'Pregnancy is weird! Pregnancy is weird!'

I have eaten three cakes and a huge bag of maltesers today...mad slightly disgusted with myself. Think it must have been subconscious effort to balance out the healthy courgette, potato and cheddar soup for lunch and the cheesey jacket potato for tea. Actually, that's quite a lot of cheese isn't it....

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 27/08/2014 19:40

27 weeks today.

Is it still a craving if you just want to eat? I don't fancy anything in particular but would just like to stuff my face. Or is that just called being greedy? Grin

Hugmonster82 · 27/08/2014 19:53

My boobs went up 3(!) cup sizes in the first few weeks but nothing since then. Starting point was tiny to start off with so have been very proud of my increased size but no sign of milk. When does that usually happen?
Love all the Facebook belly kick videos. I've only seen mine move once and that was 2 weeks ago so very jealous! Since then the kicks have felt more internal. Should I be worried that the kicks haven't got stronger or is it more likely that she's facing the other way? This pregnancy lark is so stressful!

monkeybaby2 · 27/08/2014 20:07

Hugs it just depends where baby is on where you feel it. So long as you're feeling kicks I wouldn't worry but call your mw if you're concerned.

With DD colostrum came in more or less straight after birth and my milk kicked in a day later. No milk or leaks prior to birth at all and my supply once it arrived was plentiful Smile

Cuppachaplz · 27/08/2014 20:10

sasseh maybe apathy linked to milk production as I have buckets too ;)
Was told not to express any though as can induce labour, maybe this is just me following recurrent mcs? V painful though, and fed up of leaking, and they are too big and hurry for me to enjoy running that much now. (That's the reason, nothing to do with the pissing rain at all :$)

dani fab news. Relax and enjoy.

porqoi it's not you craving, it's the baby now. mine is a greedy lump too ;) right now I reckon it would kill for red wine... But is settling for the cba type tea of half arsed coldish leftovers.

I've had some bleeding today, and having been very good about not looking things up since the brain lesion was first identified, I have been on pubmed today and am now freaking out. Bath and early night in the hope of achieving calm.

Somersetgirl1990 · 27/08/2014 20:22

Also loving the kicking videos! I've tried videoing mine but he always goes quiet when I get my phone out Grin

What's the limit for flying? Is it 34 weeks? I'm thinking I'd like to go to Dublin for my birthday in October but not sure if I'll be too pregnant to fly? Also, will I feel up to wandering around? Dublin is my favourite place in the world and I'd love to just sit in bars listening to live music and chilling out but not sure if it'll be too much that far on

LisaC2611 · 27/08/2014 20:47

Hug monster my kicks haven't been that strong and I only saw my stomach move for the first time at the weekend. I think my little BOB is still breech as most of my kicks are very low, although when I got in bed last night he kicked on my left side and hubby felt it properly for the first time Grin

Hugmonster82 · 27/08/2014 21:37

Most of my kicks have been low too so that's made me worry less. Just as long as she turns around by the end!

Hugmonster82 · 27/08/2014 21:41

I think you should be ok in October if you take your notes with you. Also check with the airline as they all have different policies. Some require a doctors note and some stop you flying earlier than others. I was questioned at 24 weeks on how far along I was. Then they gave me priority boardingSmile

Thought I'd pop in here - 1st Dec due date - and glad to see I'm not the only crazy one moving house in the third trimester. It seemed like such a good idea at the time, selling, buying and moving in before the baby comes, until the summer disappeared and we're pushing October/November for exit and entrance dates.... oh well, I won't be doing the lifting Smile

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 27/08/2014 22:12

Stationary I moved house in first trimester before anyone but DH knew, so no getting out of lifting for me Confused I think you're doing it the right way round!
