Pepsi is that the fleece coat from jojo? Keep wondering about buying it but had mixed reviews online.
Drews - hope you're feeling better now and got some sleep. Unfortunately these things do happen however careful we are. I know I'd be a mess too.
Managed to hurt my back yesterday moving the vacuum cleaner. Knew cleaning was a bad idea! Meant it was really painful to sleep on my left side so had to lie on my back. Kept getting heartburn lying that way and didn't sleep well as was worrying about harming the baby by being on my back. Have felt kicking today though so hope all ok. I'm a complete waste of space at work though!

Phew...found you all. This thread moves quickly, haven't fully caught up yet.

Cat, Persephone is our first name choice too. We both love it but I don't think many of out f&f will, they'll think its pretentious. I have see it get proper slated once or twice on the baby names thread too but it hasn't put me off. Our middle name choice is currently Olive, after DPs gran who died last year.

Spent the weekend hanging blinds, having lovely new born snuggles with my friends baby and worrying about living in a building site/ our general lack of preparedness for a baby.

Welcome to the new joiners.

Like the name Persephone. I always remember a friend of my aunt who called her daughter this but insisted it was pronounced "Percy-phone". Poor child. :)
I've had a morning at home letting tradesmen in, and now I'm off to see the much-awaited antenatal physio about my hips. It's a glorious sunny day too.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/08/2014 15:03

Percy phone, oh no she didn't :'
I came home early from work and I'm no longer babysitting tomorrow, so here begins a day and a half of sleep and relaxation!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/08/2014 15:04

That was meant to be a laughing face, a la :' D

Lucy90 · 26/08/2014 15:33

Hope your appointment goes well somerset, im 23+1 and cant wait for my 25 wk appointment already!

Somersetgirl1990 · 26/08/2014 16:12

Is everyone else eating well? I seem to be living on Heinz spaghetti bolognaise and Jaffa cakes Blush

monkeybaby2 · 26/08/2014 16:20

Not as well as I should be. I take a multi vit to allay the guilt Smile

CatFaceCrayola · 26/08/2014 16:30

Me and DH are pretty settled on Persephone now. Although I'm pretty sure that neither of our families will approve. But tough I guess. And may Percy-Phone will be useful for some playful winding up :)

I have eaten all sorts of crap (I am on holiday!) But will have to make an extra special healthy effort when we get back (flying back tomorrow, sigh)

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 26/08/2014 16:42

Omg. BHLS and anyone else interested, I'm on day 4 post-Footner and my feet are falling off! It's incredible! I had a horrible tough ridge all around my heel and I've just peeled it away and it's all pink and new underneath! Best £20 ever!

isambardo · 26/08/2014 17:07

Interesting that Persephone is popular here. Dh has chosen either Persephone or Penelope if we have a girl, I've been keener on Penelope as I thought Persephone was a bit prone to misspelling and pronounciation issues. We went with my choice for our sons name so dh gets to chose this one :)

Somersetgirl1990 · 26/08/2014 18:25

Nothing interesting to report from midwife appointment, she just took blood pressure, listened to baby's heartbeat and answered any questions! Said I might be coming down with something and that's why I'm feeling rubbish or could just be my body realising I'm pregnant. Great Confused feel like a cold is coming though so that's probably why I've been feeling crap

monkeybaby2 · 26/08/2014 20:29

Urgh, they've upped my Fragmin dose...It is apparently because I weigh more now so:

More cake = bigger needle

Curse you pregnancy-sweet-tooth-will-power-destroyer.

Pepsiaddict · 26/08/2014 21:54

Hug monster it's the navy padded coat rather than the fleece one. It's nice and cosy. Bought the size up which may be a bit big but I guess better that than too wee.

LisaC2611 · 27/08/2014 09:08

Very quiet on here an fb at the moment. Hope everyone is ok

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 27/08/2014 09:51

Morning!

Peace, I want footners...!

Baby hasnt been moving a great deal the last few days but I am still feeling kicking I am assuming things are ok. I've been mooching about cornwall or sleeping so I guess baby is getting some rest too.

Hugmonster82 · 27/08/2014 10:37

Just eaten an entire sharing sized packet of giant buttons. Not even 11am. Feeling a little bit ashamedWink In my defence I was worried as couldn't feel the baby moving and it's end of the month billing today and I've got the accounts team chasing me. The chocolate has shocked the baby into action but hasn't helped much with the work situation.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 27/08/2014 10:50

Hug I've just eaten two pieces of baklava simply because they came out of the box stuck together. Pretty sure I have diabetes now.

LisaC2611 · 27/08/2014 10:55

BLHS I must be having your movements as BOB has been very active the last couple of days, more so than normal.

Did an almighty kick last night just as I put DH's hand on my tummy and then proceeded to do 3 more so hubby felt the baby kick 4 times last night Grin, he thinks it's very weird!

Hugmonster - you go with the chocolate, I've had a sausage baguette for breakfast this morning and its seriously repeating on me, wish I'd have chocolate instead. Also our last few days of the billing month and as that is primarily my job its manic at the moment. Roll on next week when its quieter again Smile

Danibogs · 27/08/2014 11:00

Just wanted to share my good news. After a stressful few days just had scan at FMU and told baby is ok and abnormality is just a normal variation. So relieved. Thank you for your support. Now want to find some buttons and baklava to celebrate! :-)

Cuppachaplz · 27/08/2014 11:02

Morning all,
Must be the morning for piggy eating; posts on here have made me feel much better about stuffing a slice of cold pizza down my throat, rather than a proper breakfast.
Home alone as everyone out at a wedding which I didn't feel up to, and feeling to slovenly to make a cup of tea. Anyone else struck with mid week, mid pregnancy apathy? X

Hugmonster82 · 27/08/2014 11:20

Dani that's brilliant news. So happy for youSmile now go get some sugary snacks to celebrate!
