Fuck. It's just dawned on me that I'm bloody depressed again.
Sorry if I've been weird today/this weekend. Urgh.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 23/09/2014 21:18

I don't think you've shown any depression weirdness Peace. Might be the reason for the new-pram blues though. Are you OK? I think maybe at this stage of pregnancy things are starting to hit home a bit, and I know I've struggled mentally a lot this week. Weathers changed too which never helps.

Have you escaped the dreaded GD?? xx

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 23/09/2014 21:24

No phone call yet, eating jam on toast while I still can.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 23/09/2014 21:32

Have some for me... Jam on toast will be my first non-diabetic meal!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 23/09/2014 21:50

May I also suggest Nutella?

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 23/09/2014 22:05

No because it's full of The Nuts Of Death...!

Co-op own brand chocolate spread however.... now there's a good idea!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 23/09/2014 22:07

I think I've got Morrisons' own on the go, although I call it Nutella, because I'm such a snob, clearly.

monkeybaby2 · 23/09/2014 22:11

waves at newbies and fb stragglers

Hello ladies that want to join the Facebook group Smile, please can you pm me when you're ready so I can open it up for you x

monkeybaby2 · 23/09/2014 22:13

Oh and am also having both whooping cough and flu jab here, am a big believer in vaccination and as I've had both flu and the jab before I'm going to do my best to avoid a dose!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 23/09/2014 22:26

Morrisons do the chocolate orange one too.... Thats amazing!!!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 23/09/2014 22:27

Although if you join the facebook group, you have to promise to keep posting here too.... keep the thread alive! xxGrin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 23/09/2014 22:28

I'll still be here with the tumbleweeds.

Somersetgirl1990 · 23/09/2014 22:32

Cadbury's chocolate spread is the best! Grin

CallingAllEngels · 24/09/2014 06:08

Am still here! Doing more lurking than posting both here and fb as finding this pg so much harder than last time. Exhausted, emotional, enormous and still 2 months of work to go Sad

baby has been kicking away though Smile

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 24/09/2014 07:04

Its morning, its raining, I dont want to leave the house. I want to NEST goddam it! Grin

Taura · 24/09/2014 07:20

+1 for that suggestion BHLS. Although not raining.
28w scan yesterday - all well. Baby in boxer pose.
Also my first Consultant appointment. His introductory gambit was "I've been looking through your notes and I'm not quite sure why you're here". Phew :) It's just because of my age, young man.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 24/09/2014 07:45

Ha Taura! I keep seeing different consultants and they ask me if I know why I am under consultant care.... "because I'm old, mad and fat"... Grin

CatFaceCrayola · 24/09/2014 09:38

Hadn't noticed any unusual behaviour Peace. Must bit the stage of pregnancy/weather/something.

I had yet another sobbing, wailing, snot ridden meltdown at DH last night. "what if I just don't like being a mum" was one of my main points. Sure there's the whole can I cope/will I be a good mum thing. But what if I'm an ok mum who just doesn't want to be a mum and ends up blaming child for my "ruined life"

I'm being ridiculous. ..someone slap me!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 24/09/2014 10:42

Would it be a terrible idea to try and get tickets for the Manics Holy Bible tour when I'll be weeks or days off giving birth?

Hugmonster82 · 24/09/2014 11:26

Peace it sounds like a great idea to me. It may be your last chance to do something like that for a while and bet they'll be amazing!

ffallada · 24/09/2014 11:59

Thanks for all the input about the flu jab - it hasn't helped me make up my mind but its great to know what other people are doing :)

espa · 24/09/2014 13:28

I'm going to a gig at almost 37 weeks...

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 24/09/2014 15:50

Okay, if there are seats and I actually get tickets (bitter memories of trying to get Beyoncé tickets for DAYS) I will go.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 24/09/2014 15:57

Also going to book my last bit of annual leave for October so I have stuff to look forward to. Combatting misery.

Taura · 24/09/2014 18:15

I had flu once, about 18 years ago. The experience was such that I have always taken the opportunity to get a free flu jab whenever it's been offered (we usually get them at work to try to avoid the whole call centre going off sick...)
