Weight gain, oh gosh, I have put in at least 9lb already. Mostly crips and toast! Eating was the only thing that stopped me feeling sick, too. So I have been, constantly! Easing off a bit now, but the damage is done. And I was 11st 1lb to start with (at 5ft 7in).

My two boys have been 10lb 11oz and 10lb 8oz, so full expecting another huge one!! So Spirals, I know how you feel.

Told the boys the news tonight. Ds1 very excited, but cross at having to wait so long. Ds2 not particularly interested! :)

Awwww Lizardc the thought of your two boys cracks me up! Mil had 4 whoppers - boys ranging from 9lb 9 to 10-something. DS was 9lb 3 so I'm expecting another on the bigger side.

Hi. I've not checked in for a while, but have kept up with the thread. It's all over for me, could someone please take me off the list?

Had my scan today at 12+3 but it's a mmc. Exactly the same as happened to me in Jan. I had an early scan which dated me at 8+5 with a normal heartbeat, but today's measurements were no different from that scan. I'm booked in for surgical management on weds.

It's all so so shit.

Anyway, I wish you all luck and good health with the rest of your pregnancies and I hope I'll be able to look in on you all when babies start to appear. xx

I keep expecting to have gained weight but still down 5kg despite all the eating and ever growing bump! It's crazy, I think the scales are broken!

i felt a bit chuffed to break our news just before Kate and wills...hahah bit silly! Still trying to get hold of my dad and on elf my brothers! Time difference makes it tricky and think they have been away!

After a super normal ish day yesterday this morning was rubbish! I am still nervous for flying to the uk in 2 weeks if I am going to have sickness like that still! Yuk would hate to be like that on a plane!

And coster also zero experience of babies here just a few cuddles in my time! Yikes.

I'm so sorry you are going through this again pint. Life can be so cruel.

My scan went really well! Put forward 2 days so now at 12 weeks and 2 days with an EDD of 21.03.15.
Scan picture very clear (Put it on FB as was taken on my phone and now on laptop). A VERY active baby. He/she was playing 'ball until it came to taking the nuchal measurement and the little sod kept turning away. Eventually got it and the measurement was 1.6 so pleased about that.

Zebra thank you so much for the advice. I will certainly arm myself with information. I was planning on being off meds in time to breastfeed, but my recent attempts without meds have scared me. I'll look at alternatives with my doctor though.

Sorry Pint, can't even imagine how you feel :( I hope you're okay.

Congrats Junk :) so exciting for you! I have mine tomorrow, a little terrified but iI cannot be this sick if baby isn't stealing everything from me, so I'm hoping all is well. The main thing for me is my dates. LMP I'm 12 weeks, may be as little as 8 though!
Also need to contact midwife tomorrow as I've not kept anything down at all between 5.30 am and 2.30 pm, vomited about 5 times and dry heaved about the same amount of times, causing my eyes to almost pop out of my head!

Zebra your post earlier was lovely (about letting your DC try things for themselves). This is my first one, and currently compiling thoughts on how to raise "it"... Disagreeing slightly with DP on home points RE gender bias (I think it's fine to buy a boy a toy kitchen, for example) but we'll get there.

Currently awaiting room service (the best thing about hotels?). Flight wasn't too bad but was the only one in sexy DVT socks. And the queue for passport control bad so long I thought I was going to faint. Apart from that, doing okay thus far. Then again, only 20 hours in and I've just had a 3 hour nap (only meant to have 30 mins shut eye. Whoops)

I actually logged on feeling sorry for myself, seeing if anyone else was up being sick but that doesn't seem fair now.

On this topic, one of my (very smart and not at all kooky) friends absolutely swears by THIS
