I'm after two John Lewis universal buggy cosy toes (the fluffy ones with stars on) they regularly go for more on eBay (once you include postage) than buying new. The greenie in me would prefer to buy second hand as the world only needs so many footmuffs, but I'm jeffed if I'm paying more for second hand as you say goats!

Urgh today I've hit the struggling to get up off the floor without a hand / winch stage. And this LO hates under bump jeans. Proper mental kicking "gerroffmyland" behaviour. Am struggling to find over bump skinnies. I'm looking cetacean in anything other than skinnies. Has anyone found any over the bump skinny jeans anywhere?

Yellow try ASOS for Mammalicious skinnies, saved my sanity in last pg. :)

Me23 I can't find any info on that so will point you to Yellow's answer!

We liked the Uppababy too.

I need a bath for bump ache now. If I can get up. Am starting to think the 'L' of the corner of the sofa is not going to be suitable for me much longer!

mrsb87 · 08/06/2014 21:16

yellow I have a super comfy pair from h&m that I wear for work.

porcito · 08/06/2014 21:30

H and M have over bump skinnies too...

ldt87 · 08/06/2014 21:54

I lost this thread completely, its gone from my threads im on and everything. Strange.

How is everyone? Xx

fedupofrainydays · 08/06/2014 22:48

H&m skinnies are the best - and sooooo comfy.

Been looking on gumtree for second hand buggies. What are people's views on the bugaboo cameleon? Gone off the city jogger now I know it doesn't face me for when they are small!

YellowWellies · 08/06/2014 23:18

I'm thinking a trip shopping to Edinburgh or Glasgow is on the cards!

I'm desperate for new clothes. Am currently on a 2 outfit rotation.

Today, DP told me 'My body looked nice. Like the moon'. Thanks. If anyone wants to borrow him to boost their confidence, feel free.

This is just after my grandma commented 'I know you're getting on a bit for the first baby, but try not to think about all the problems it could bring'. I'm 30. I'll do a 2 for 1 offer?

MundayCakes85 · 09/06/2014 07:00

Went to see the in laws this weekend, no hug from MIL just inappropriate bump grab- I really don't like it! Then got told she only put on 1 1/2 stone in total- way past that mark!
In other news just did a massive New Look shop, voucher code VCSAVE10 gets you £10 off when you spend over £50.
Happy Monday all x

ohthegoats · 09/06/2014 07:02

Haha porcito, at least yours gives you a reasonably nice simile. On Friday I was pointing out how when I sit down my bump pushes up my boobs, boyfriend just said 'that's not boob, that's flab...' then poked my boob and repeated 'look flab'.

mrsb87 · 09/06/2014 07:54

Cheeky shitbag goats! I would have retaliated in some way. I have been quite lucky as dh has been nothing but supportive, especially through the hg and even now I'm getting foot massages every evening and the occasional bump massage! And no, he isn't available for rent! Hehe.

fedupofrainydays · 09/06/2014 07:58

Does anyone have a pregnancy pillow? Recommendations? Keep waking up on my back

Ok thanks bugs. Been looking at theraline. I need a bit for round the back and under bump support. Used normal pillows last preg but remember moaning that I hadn't bought a proper one as had an ongoing wrestle / they kept moving from behind me!
Will look at dunelm tho!

Oklahoma · 09/06/2014 08:50

The sleeping thing is really starting to annoy me. I also keep waking up on my back and just can't get comfortable however I lie. Anyone got any advice?

ohthegoats · 09/06/2014 08:51

I don't have a pregnancy pillow, but during my Sunday-insomnia session last night between 10pm and 3am, I decided that I definitely need more ordinary pillows to prop different bits up. I get stuck on one side or the other, with numb bits.. then when I try to move I get shooting ligament pains, which means lying there for another few minutes summoning up the courage to actually get up. Not helpful when you badly need a wee.

And yes, he's a cheeky shitbag. I just poked his beer belly and asked about his Stella-baby.

Loulou888 · 09/06/2014 08:54

Oh dear hay fever has kicked in I suffer every year and dread it when preggars. Most annoying thing is every time I sneeze I get a agonising sharp pain under bump. Oh well we've got thunderstorms forecast later.....

Kirstipops · 09/06/2014 09:16

Bwahaha Porcito & Goats, luckily I get the feeling you two give as good as you get!
Almost every morning I wake up with backache, it doesn't last long but it's still crap waking up like that. I've ordered a big long u-shaped pillow that i can cuddle into and howk my leg over and will hopefully stop me rolling onto my back.
This is my last day in the Lake district and I have swollen ankles from walking up to a waterfall yesterday but ooft the paddle in the water at the end was worth it! Weird to think that the next time I'll be here (for new year) we'll have a wee extra person :-O

tak1ngchances · 09/06/2014 09:48

loulou I have shockin hayfever. Can you take anything when you're pregnant?

YellowWellies · 09/06/2014 10:05

Last pregnancy I got a long sausage pillow - £10 from aldi in their bargain "aisles of shite" as DH calls them. That did me until 32 weeks when I was just so uncomfy I caved and spent £40 on a dream genii. It did help make the last month bearable and got plenty of use after as a nursing pillow. Must dig them out actually as my sleep is starting to go to pot. Once I'm asleep I'm fine its just taking me ages to drop off.

Am dreading the third trimester when your uterus drops back down on your bladder - I needed to wee every couple of hours last time! From that point on I definitely got better sleep AFTER J was born. Nature's cruel - giving months of sleep deprivation BEFORE the birth. I do remember how fab that first night's sleep after birth was, (even with hyperinflated boobs and the horrible night sweats to lose the fluid, up every three hours to feed) sprawling on my belly, zonked but happy after labour, watching J in his crib, not believing he was here!
