All you need to do Retro is faint, just once, they'll let you have whatever you want!

PolytheneGirl · 19/05/2014 17:52

Oh yeah.... No symptoms except the runs! Maybe I have ibs?

lindamagoo · 19/05/2014 17:55

Poly you should defo be thankful, for no symptoms and the runs! I've now got constipation and I'd much rather go back to the runs Smile

PolytheneGirl · 19/05/2014 17:58

I'm just a bit worried that the symptoms may have stopped because something is wrong. Still 2+3 till 12 wks.

Apparently, star, the only fans we're allowed are the extortionate Dyson ones with no blades. Or you could just tell the kids not to unscrew the protective cage and stick their fingers in it Hmm

poly, if it carries on like this I may well end up having to tell work early when I pass out on a child! I've got a thermometer I'm going to put up just out of interest, was stifling today, could cheerfully have curled up for a nap!

lindamagoo · 19/05/2014 18:06

My BF has just bought one of they baby dopplers for listening to her baby's heart, I think I might get one in the next couple of weeks, she's only 9 + 3 I think and she picked up baby's heartbeat already, amazing Smile

RetroHippy · 19/05/2014 18:08

Oh, and I know symptoms are meant to ease off by 14 weeks, you're probably just hitting that early.

DH is on his way home with two CB digis and two Sainsbo's own. Excited for a 'pregnant 1-2'! I'm bursting to tell someone, even with you lot. He must be about to pop! I've said we'll tell my mum when they come up in half term, then we can tell DSIL and BIL after that. That's it! MIL seems a little wobbly at the moment (depressive) and I don't want to worry her unnecessarily.

RetroHippy · 19/05/2014 18:10

That's amazing Linda. I know someone who has one, she's due in 10 weeks or so. Maybe she'd lend it to me Wink

Bid up a friends CB ovulation monitor last week, but forgot about it on the last day. I was going to buy it!

lindamagoo · 19/05/2014 18:12

My BF said I could use hers but I don't fancy getting my fat gut out infront of her, lol

toots123 · 19/05/2014 18:37

So glad im not the only one thats bloated!! I was the same with going to the toilet too much to now - nothing!! Gaviscon is my best friend!!!

MademoiselleG · 19/05/2014 18:39

I was wondering about these Doppler thingys, there's a fairly cheap Angelcare one I saw somewhere. But mw last time advised me against it in case we didn't manage to locate hb (as opposed to there not bring one) and worry unnecessarily...mmh. I might just do it anyway?

retro I SWEAR it was at least 32 degrees in my classroom this afternoon. I'm in the top (3rd) floor and felt like vomming all the way through my double Y10 class, it was the longest ever lesson (and that was just for the teacher!!) definitely getting a thermometer.

fancyacupoftea · 19/05/2014 18:48

Oh crap I forgot the prune juice from Tesco! Despite the bad gas and the bloating there was very little toilet triumph this evening.

Congrats on your little heartbeat Linda! Really pleased everything is okay for you.

Excited to hear how Sazzles's scan was now!

DH made me walk through the baby paraphernalia section in Tesco. He's obsessed with prams already.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 19/05/2014 19:09

Yes Sazzle, where are you? Pink or blue??

Yay for alcohol free beer!! Perfect!!

PolytheneGirl · 19/05/2014 19:15

Well DH has just pissed me right off. I was wearing a nice floaty, loose, hang from the boob style shit today, coupled with some low rise black jeans worn under my bump. I thought I looked quite nice and well covered. DH just told me, after we had visit my mom on the way back from the school run, "oh yeah, I could really see your bump earlier!"

I've got the rage back! Angry

Sorry ladies busy day! All fine at the scan thanks so much for asking. We are team blue! Another boy. I always knew I'd be mum to boys so couldn't be happier, our ds is just such a sweetheart I'm hoping for another the same! Ds is a bit miffed tho, he wanted a little sis! Oh well gives us an excuse to go for no3 ;-)

Oh dear Poly, men always know what to say don't they? :p Also, isn't it after 9 weeks the placenta takes over? Might explain the lack of symptoms?

PolytheneGirl · 19/05/2014 19:22

Well done Sazzle my DS (3.9yo) keeps telling me he wants a little sister too. He doesn't even know I'm pg. I don't think we're planning on finding out though and I'll just have to tell him you don't get a choice lol.

Treacle you have just put my mind at rest! I'm off to google now.... Thanks Thanks How are you feeling?

Treaclepie19 · 19/05/2014 19:22

Yay sazzle team blue all the way, I think I'll be having another boy, don't think I'd know what to do with a girl now, lol. Oh and not to burst your bubble but it's true what people say! You never get 2 the same, my ds1 was the perfect baby, ds2 however was sent to me straight from hell I think, lol Grin

PolytheneGirl · 19/05/2014 19:48

I'm thinking this one may be a girl just because this pg feels so different from my last, iykwim? Mind you by the time I felt DS move I was pretty sure he was going to be a boy. Maybe I'll get a more definite feeling in a few weeks?!
