I am only four weeks finally starting to accept it now and I'm bloated like a whale. Look ok naked as it all smooths out, but squeeze me into anything with a waistband and it's another story! I'll be bra shopping before June at this rate!

The bloating is awful, isn't it? I'm wearing a skirt but it's cinched in at the waist and really highlights the little paunch I've been growing. NOT a good choice...

Told my DSIL this weekend – she’s thrilled! She’s also given me a few maternity clothes which is very much appreciated! Felt really poorly yesterday afternoon after sitting out in the sun – I think I got a bit dehydrated.

Not at all impressed with my antenatal care so far, unfortunately. First off the midwife didn’t send through the referral and today I discover the scan date letter has been sent to my old address! Thankfully my PIL live there now so DFIL called me and said an “official looking letter had arrived” and I got him to open it. Bloody good job I’d told them otherwise that could have been an awkward conversation!! I thought about calling now and telling them they had my address wrong but I don’t want them to make another mistake and cancel the scan or anything. I’m really not impressed though. I’ll tell them at the scan that they need to change the address – will that be good enough do you think? Or should I call them in advance?

Grr.

Just back from my scan and all is well! My little sea monkey is growing in the right place and I saw the teensiest little heartbeat

Ahhh yay! Linda that's lovely! How far along have they put you?

Chilly - that's rubbish. I'd call and tell them about the address and then just double confirm the date of the scan if I were you. Hopefully it's a bit more straight forward from here on out.

retro I have a very slowing of bowels.....nowt much happening there at all the past couple of weeks!

Retro I'm def with you on the bloating and wind but no way have my bowels slowed down. I've had the runs everyday for the past 6 weeks! Fed up now!
