It helped for a short while.
Came back and now I've eaten it's just coming and going.
Yeah I've barely moved from the sofa today. I went with DH and MIL to mcdonalds just to get out of the house.
I feel guilty as it hasn't really hit me yet apart from the pain so I must seem really odd. I'm sure MIL understands as she's been through it.

Don't feel guilty treacle, in a strange way it might be a good thing that it's not hit you too hard just now, be easier to physically recover. Everyone deals with things differently and there is no right or wrong way

Have just noticed my typo from my last post (checkin gin...I wish!). Not sure if my knee excuse was believed, especially since I refused a glass of wine. Apparently 2 of DH's frineds (well, one friend, one acquaintance) asked him if we wanted a 2nd child. We're seeing the same group of friends in 2 weeks for a big 40th party so may have to c8me clean by then.

You're right linda, going to the doctors tomorrow anyway to sort out work and will ask them about the pain and painkillers and everything.

DH has been researching and reckons my pain is a mixture of wind and all my organs re-adjusting.
Had a little sob for the first time. All got a bit overwhelming.

Treacle I think anything to do with that area of the body can cause that windy/painful feeling and it can also give you pain in your shoulders, I remember the discomfort after my laparoscopy, not nice. Sending you massive hugs huni x

Your news has reminded me how precious and delicate our little beans are and to be very grateful to be in this situation regardless of how tired/uncomfortable/sick we feel. I'm going to make a conscious effort not to complain about how I feel now and to just appreciate it.

Survived the day with PILs. Don't think they suspected a thing.
I will be 12 weeks next time we see them so hopefully I'll have had my scan by then and can break the good news! Fx

Still only 13 dpo, but a good strong line on a Superdrug test. Had some spotting Friday night, into Saturday morning, and a bit more just now. I'm told that's normal? Hoping it's implantation bleeding as it's light brown, not red.

Boobs are getting painful now. And feel massive!
