So I got a stupidly early faint positive today at 9dpo when I should definitely know better after a chemical last month. According to the Calendar I'm due December 1st so I've decided to be massively optimistic and start this thread. Is there anybody put there?

How is everyone today?
I went to bed at half 7 last night and slept through to 6.30am. Feel a bit off my food today.

Welcome crazedndazed!

ImBrian · 29/03/2014 13:43

I've been feeling a bit queasy but I'm not that tired. I keep having oh shit moments about having 5 kids, I need a bigger car!

Good that you are getting some decent rest rockstars12. Hope your appetite returns soon.
I seem to have a constant headache, nose is bunged up and getting short of breath a lot. Think my asthma / allergies have just become a bit more concentrated.
It's a scary and worrying time but I'm still super happy to have gotten pregnant at all!

Vicky5910 · 29/03/2014 15:28

Blinkin' eck I disappear for a few days an it's all kicking off! Hi everyone! emily how are ya?!
Bloaty hungry tearful sore boobs... Not at all like my last pregnancy. Feel like I've got super hormones, what are the chances of the midwife getting me an early scan because it 'feels like twins' ha....!

rockstars12 · 29/03/2014 16:49

Thank you nicky. I sleep a lot now, I think I'm just having a nap and before I know it half the day or the whole night has gone! Just out of curiosity have you seen a doc about being asthmatic and pregnant. I take a turbo inhaler usually, but have been a bit naughty and stopped not knowing if its safe.
Clocks go forward this evening, 1 less hour in bed! Lol all the extra helps at the moment. So boo to that. I work Sundays.

SweepTheHalls · 29/03/2014 17:33

Asthma inhalers are safe, it's much more dangerous to risk an attack by not taking them. I'm on pretty big doses of inhaled steroids, an was through both of my last pregnancies. Don't stop taking anything already prescribed without speaking to your GP or asthma nurse.

MrsFtn · 29/03/2014 18:07

Oh no I forgot about the clocks - thanks for the reminder rockstars! Is it just me or are the days really dragging? Maybe losing an hour will make tomorrow go a bit quicker!

mopsytop · 29/03/2014 18:08

Ugh having horrible cramps, really bad. Bit worried is period and, therefore, chemical pregnancy ...

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 29/03/2014 18:10

Midwife appointment on Wednesday. It's all a bit different to last time, the midwife is coming to my house! It seems like a much more personal service. I didn't see a midwife until 12 weeks last time so this feels really really early!

ImBrian · 29/03/2014 18:32

Mosy I get really bad cramps particularly on a night. I've had them with every pregnancy (7) and they always feel like af is coming. I'm past when af would be due now and I'm still pretty crampy they seem to start wearing off about 6/7 weeks. It's hopefully just that, when was af due?

In the name of science I just tested the opk as a hpt idea. The test line was coming up as the wee touched it, I've never had an opk come up so fast and be so strong so it works. Nice to see dark lines and use up opks I have a poas addiction

That's interesting imbrian, I have a bazillion ic tests so been doing one each day and seeing that lovely line getting darker. There's not much time to fret though with my little scamp dd1 causing havoc wherever she goes! Grin

ImBrian · 29/03/2014 19:10

Tell me about it, I'm on count down to bed time so I can pass out on the sofa.

Hellooooo

Oh my goodness! Can't believe I'm here, is it ok to join you ladies?
I did a Sainsburys test yesterday and got a lovely 'cross' for Pregnant!

This will be my 3rd baby :) Very happy indeed, just hoping all goes well.

ImBrian · 29/03/2014 20:50

Hi everyone
Got my BFP on Thursday! So excited but for the 1st time had the worst heartburn in bed last night. Hope it doesn't continue the whole 9 months

PunkyPod · 29/03/2014 22:42

I hope the heart burn doesn't return Betty! I think you can glug on gaviscon though while pregnant...?

Felt a bit queasy this evening but all I can really say is BOOBS!!! My little B cups tingle and feel friggin massive! Blush

Chipandspuds · 30/03/2014 00:27

if gaviscon doesn't work try milk Betty I had heartburn for about the last month of pregnancy with DS and gaviscon made me feel sick but a friend at work recommended milk and it did the trick! Also no greasy or fatty foods helps. I remember seriously regretting a portion of fish and chips once!

MrsFtn · 30/03/2014 08:35

Morning everyone. Happy mothers day to all you mums and mums to be. And a big wave to the new recruits. I used up my last cb digi today and am pleased to have progressed to 2-3. Now debating whether or not to get one more for next week. I think I need to go into poas rehab at this rate!

SweepTheHalls · 30/03/2014 08:43

Morning! Another 1-2 weeks in the cb this morning for me. I just want it to move to 2-3 weeks to see that my levels of HCGare increasing. Still, a positive is still a good thing. I think I'll be taking out shares in cb by the time we really believe we have a sticky little bean this time.

mopsytop · 30/03/2014 08:44

I am so glad I'm not the only one obsessively poas-ing!

Vicky5910 · 30/03/2014 09:04

Happy Mother's Day!

ziggystarducks · 30/03/2014 09:34

Thanks Vicky x

Happy Mummy's Day to all of us anxious December dd girls. I just opened 3 Mothers Day cards :)
One from the teenager, one from 3y/o DS and one from the little bean, set me off in tears!!
Feel more tired than usual, but not much else yet. I wait with fear and trepidation the 7-8 months of nausea that I had with both previous babes.
But at least I found the Hyperemia support thread!

Hugs to you all xxx

Feeling very deflated after a bad reaction from my dad when we told him yesterday. Sad

PunkyPod · 30/03/2014 10:08

Oh mythical that's really sad. Why was he negative? Is this your first? My mum basically freaked out when I told her about dd but they are number 1 best friends now. I hope he comes round... Thanks

mopsytop · 30/03/2014 10:10

Oh no mythical! Why was he SK negative?
