December 2014, anyone else yet?

So I got a stupidly early faint positive today at 9dpo when I should definitely know better after a chemical last month. According to the Calendar I'm due December 1st so I've decided to be massively optimistic and start this thread. Is there anybody put there?

somethingwittynot good luck!!!

mopsytop · 28/03/2014 15:54

Good luck witty

I am tempted to buy a couple of digi tests myself but they cost about £10. I should probably just wait for my period not to arrive on Sunday morning. (Fingers crossed at least). I remember being like this last time. I think I did 6 tests!

somethingwittynot · 28/03/2014 16:20

December 2014, anyone else yet?
mopsytop · 28/03/2014 16:22

NICE ONE witty!

nickyjlees · 28/03/2014 16:25

somethingwittynot Yay, fantastic news! I had the exact same screen on my clearblue this time yesterday :)
Huge congratulations!

MrsFtn · 28/03/2014 16:26

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Just being on here is getting me very excited and the more excited I get, the more positive I am if that makes sense.
witty Congratulations! hope that is the result I get next week. It's going to be a long wait but I'm determined not to do it too early and disappoint myself

mopsytop - I know how you feel - I feel like I should get some shares in Clearblue the amount I have spent lately! My local CoOp pharmacy had the predictor ones for £10 for the two pack yesterday (bargain as the single packs are £10!)

ImBrian sorry to hear you have suffered mc too. I even had bleeding with my first pg (DD now 3 1/2 yrs old) so I feel like it's a case of when and not if I end up in EPAU.

Emily I wouldn't worry as you said the hot water bottle was not scalding hot. I even worry my bath is too hot at the moment though so I know what you mean!

rockstars sorry to hear about your pat losses too. Glad you find yourself in a more settled place for this one - fry ups an everything!

Bubba wedding will be a nice distraction for you hopefully - I'm trying to keep busy and not worry about it all so much. Maybe you could go with soft drinks but pretend there's a shot of something in there - Just means you will have to get your own drinks all night!

nickyjlees I went to visit my cousin last week and her 8 week old girl. She was told she could not conceive too - if it's meant to be, it will be!

It's very exciting that some of you are planning early scans. Looking forward to hearing how you get on.

somethingwittynot · 28/03/2014 17:09

Thank you everyone! Seems much more real now

MrsFtn · 28/03/2014 17:45

Has anyone made gp or even midwife appt. yet?

SweepTheHalls · 28/03/2014 17:54

Just done anothe cb digital as not really believing this. Us still says 1-2 weeks, which makes no sense as we last did the deed almost 3 weeks ago. [scheptical]

SweepTheHalls · 28/03/2014 17:55

Would help if I could spell! [sceptical]!

SweepTheHalls · 28/03/2014 17:55

Ah! I give in!

somethingwittynot · 28/03/2014 17:58

Midwife booked 10th april. Early scan 1st of may

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 28/03/2014 18:04

oh my god the HUNGER!!!! seriously?! how can i be this starving this early?!?!

ImBrian · 28/03/2014 18:33

Emily I'm not that hungry but if I don't eat I start feeling sick. With all my pregnancies I've put on a stone in each trimester and I'm determined not to this time. I'm a stone heavier then I've ever been so I'm hoping to keep my weight steady for as long as possible.

Sweep those tests aren't 100 % reliable for the dating plus pregnancies can vary massively on hcg levels so I wouldn't worry. I'm refusing to so anymore tests as I know I'd spend hours obsessing over how dark the line is.

Mrsftn I haven't bothered yet, they don't do anything much. I'm thinking of having my scan done privately so I might leave it a bit later. I know I'll be consultant led but that's more due to labour and chromosomal problems so i guess I can leave it a bit.

I think I will see if I get to 7 weeks and then see gp to book midwife appt

Emily I had the hunger for carbs in my last pregnancy right from day 1. Haven't had it yet this time though. Does anyone else not have any real symptoms? Starting to worry me now...

ImBrian · 28/03/2014 18:52

Mrs with my first I had no symptoms at all even with the rest they haven't been that strong. This time my nipples are getting sore, I have cramp on and off and I feel queasy sometimes. Id prob not notice if I wasn't looking out for it. Plus 5 weeks is early for symptoms, watch in two weeks we'll be chucking our guts up and complaining. Wink

Bubba84 · 28/03/2014 19:39

somethingwittynot Thanks congratulations!

MrsFtn I'm sure I'll find a way round not drinking! I'll need to be imaginative! I saw my GP last week so just waiting on midwife contacting me now...

EmilyPinkOrBlue I'm with you on the hunger, it got to about 6pm and I couldn't stop eating bread! I usually never eat bread but it's certainly been the only thing I can stomach with the morning sickness. I definitely seem to be better in the evenings, phew.

somethingwittynot · 28/03/2014 20:22

Starving and my indian is 20 minutes late and counting!

SweepTheHalls · 28/03/2014 20:43

Off to Yo Sushi for lunch with my mum tomorrow. Emailed them today, who knew, NHS guidelines now let you eat sushi!

PunkyPod · 28/03/2014 22:16

Not that many symptoms either, except sore boobs. I didn't get much with dd until about 7-8 weeks when the exhaustion hit me like a truck and I was constantly eating. Had some nausea but no vomiting. I'm hoping to get away with no puking this time too, I'm a bit phobic...

I did a digi yesterday too, am also planning on doing the second one at around 6 weeks. If it's moved up and I haven't had any bleeding I'll really believe this is a baby for us. Until then I am very cautious. 5-6 weeks has previously been my mc time.

somethingwittynot · 29/03/2014 06:32

sweep the brilliant thing about yo sushi is that its flash frozen before we eat it meaning its safe for us pregnant people. I looove sushi so very jelous!

Punky im around 4 weeks 5 days did a digi and got 2-3 weeks so all is looking good for us at the moment. Going to repeat next week and hopefully get 3+. Not many symptoms here heartburn already! Dry mouth 24/7. Sore boobs and nausea to. Morning sickness kicked in at 8 weeks with DS1 and then it was hyperemesis all the way to 40 weeks. Was sick 3 times with DS2. Wonder if I will get away with no sickness this time?

ImBrian · 29/03/2014 07:11

Witty I have the dry mouth thing, it kicked in before I got my bfp. It feels like it does when I wake up hungover! Fingers crossed you avoid to much sickness this time.

somethingwittynot · 29/03/2014 07:47

Its a typical pregnancy think for me had the dry mouth always thirsty thing with DS1 and 2. But I never had GD

xcrazedndazedx · 29/03/2014 12:27

Hi everyone, my EDD 1st-3rd Dec. Fingers crossed will be 1st DC from 2nd pregnancy - I also had a MC in November.
