So I got a stupidly early faint positive today at 9dpo when I should definitely know better after a chemical last month. According to the Calendar I'm due December 1st so I've decided to be massively optimistic and start this thread. Is there anybody put there?

Hello everyone

New poster here.

This is DC3 for me, which I can barely believe I am writing.

Not told anyone in RL yet. Probably will weekend after next. Feel a bit Blush to be honest. I know it's silly I just suspect people will have thought we'd stop at two, esp as we have a girl and a boy and be quite shocked.

I have added my details to the list, which is very cool whoever is responsible for it!

dgift · 16/04/2014 22:36

pls ,is it still safe at this stage to lie down on my back

Rejjie · 16/04/2014 23:08

Hi everyone,

I found out on Saturday that I'm pregnant with my first. Due date is meant to be the 19th December. It's been quite reassuring reading these posts and know that I'm not a complete maniac for thinking every little cramp is bad news and checking my knickers 30 times a day! I haven't told anyone apart from my husband and want to keep it that way until the first scan. I'm just paranoid that something will go wrong. I'm 41 next month and was told last month that I wasn't even ovulating, so it really is a lovely surprise but I'm very, very nervous and trying not to think about it every minute. It's easier said than done though when I can feel constant twinges.

Looking forward to hearing how it progresses for you all.

Rejjie · 16/04/2014 23:27

Does anyone know how to find the other thread that's been started for first time mums due in December?

I'm finding it hard to search for it.

Thanks.

Sheilathegreat · 17/04/2014 06:03

Dgift Yes it's fine to sleep on your back Smile

Sheilathegreat · 17/04/2014 06:05

Rejjie this is number 3 for me but I do remember very well all the freaking out I did with DC1. For me once the first trimester was out the way I began to relax a bit more and even really enjoyed it. I had a a few minor hitches along the way but the first 12 weeks were definitely the scariest.

Congrats and welcome aboard Smile

SassehMonsta · 17/04/2014 08:02

rejjie, Ill run over there and bump it up, so it should appear near the top for you! Congrats to all the newcomers.

We've decided to bite thebullet and tell the inlaws tomorrow (Friday) as there is likely to be step-siblings and step-grandparents and MILs ex-bf at the party next weekend, who we dont want to tell yet. Plus, husbands grandad will be around tomorrow. Still disvussing how exactly tp break it to them!

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 17/04/2014 09:04

Welcome all and happy Thursday.
pourquoi I want to know your choice of names!
imbrian sorry to hear your family reaction, fertility treatment is tough, she might be upset but it doesn't necessarily mean she's not happy for you.
Has anyone heard from shanels?
rejjie ovulation can be random, it doesn't just stop, it becomes irregular. Congrats!

They have rejected the self referral OH did on my behalf on the ground 'no surname' well yes I have a surname it's what has been written in the box 'surname', dear hospital I'm sorry you don't like it but I didn't chose it. Angry

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 17/04/2014 14:59

7 weeks today! Another hurdle! Luckily sicky feeling seems to have gone the last 2 days I'm wondering if it was the pregnacare max that contributed to that as since I stopped taking them I feel better. Just taking the boots folic acid now. Have had a horrible taste in my mouth though last day and a half - has anyone else got this?

Abouttime · 17/04/2014 15:02

Bad news from me. Emergency scan yesterday as I've been losing brown blood since Monday & it looks like I have a blighted ovum. Follow up scan in 12 days to double check & decide on course of action but midwife thinks I will miscarry before then.

It's cruel because my body still thinks I'm pregnant so I'm still sick, no appetite & have sore boobs. Just want it to stop.

Best of luck ladies.

LisaC2611 · 17/04/2014 15:12

Hi, can I join you please? I found out on Saturday that I am pg with our first child. Have been trying for 2 years and was undergoing fertility treatment (Clomid). Was a month away from our referral appointment when I got my BFP Shock Grin.

Am over the moon and can't believe it has happened naturally. Am about 5+3, got a mw appointment on 2 May so will hopefully be booked in then and scan organised.

Can't wait for June when I can officially shout it from the rooftops GrinGrin

LisaC2611 · 17/04/2014 15:12

Opps meant to say, EDD 15 December

PresidentSpreadable · 17/04/2014 15:23

So sorry to hear your news Abouttime, bodies are so cruel sometimes. I do hope that it's not long before you have another bfp.
