So I got a stupidly early faint positive today at 9dpo when I should definitely know better after a chemical last month. According to the Calendar I'm due December 1st so I've decided to be massively optimistic and start this thread. Is there anybody put there?

Yep my boobs are the same. Dont hurt during the day until about teatime. No sickness either and im 5 weeks from lmp BUT i have no appetite whatsoever & im having to force myself to eat. Don't recall this happening before. Ive also still got what feels like period pain & im on crotch watch all blinking day!

My birthday is December and i'd rather not share it!

ImBrian · 11/04/2014 14:13

abouttime I had what felt like period pain for about a week and it's finally eased off now. Still get a twinge but I get paranoid and do the knicker check out of paranoia.

My birthday is start of January my mums due date was Boxing Day. Thank god I held off :) I'm hoping bubs doesn't follow in my footsteps and sticks near early December which Id be happy with :)

chillychicken · 11/04/2014 14:37

I've had AF type pains now for over a week. 5+1 today. Nausea not so bad today, boobs not sore either (but yes, they seem to be worse at night anyway). I don't feel pregnant today.

Also, TMI but discharge. Is anyone else getting it? I've had quite a lot of clear discharge over the last week but today it's creamy and thick.

Minion · 11/04/2014 16:00

chilly I'm 4+2 and was completely dry up until today, just starting to notice more.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 11/04/2014 16:09

What do people recommend to stop the sick feeling? Thank you :)

ImBrian · 11/04/2014 16:23

Jolly ranchers, don't let yourself get hungry, fizzy drinks, anything ginger and if all else fails try not to move!

Thank you. Any other suggestions? will stock up tomorrow.
I SO can't wait to go home and do NOTHING all weekend!! Lol

PolytheneGirl · 11/04/2014 17:11

emily I did find sucking on boiled sweets or minus helped I'm my first pg and anything sour.

PolytheneGirl · 11/04/2014 17:14

Sorry that should say boiled sweets or mints.

Shanels · 11/04/2014 17:54

Hey ladies
Well you all got me a little excited by referring to Xmas babies. I love Christmas too so it would be the best gift ever.

I don't have any if the common symptoms and suffering with chest infection but have antibiotics. I'm week 6 today - should I be worried? No nausea, no breast swelling but just the odd twinges in that area.

Happy Friday to all!
Sx

I feel really guilty that DS1 (Dec 21st birthday) doesn't have a 'full birthday experience' (he's only 2 but not been able to take him out on his birthday as everywhere is rammed). My SIL has a 28th Dec birthday and said joint xmas/birthday presents were the worst! So avoid that and all will be well!

Can whoever starts the next thread please remember to copy the link to the stats into the first post? I keep on missing it on my phone!

emily, ginger biscuits, if I woke up in the night I'd have one...and it really helps.

PolytheneGirl · 11/04/2014 21:25

I went shopping with my DM today and she spotted a christmas baby grow on a sale rack and said "awww, do you know anyone who's having a christmas baby?" I nearly choked right there and then. I wonder if she suspects? I'm going to have to keep a low profile for a few weeks I think!

Vicky5910 · 11/04/2014 22:24

Oranges are helping me a bit Emily. It's awful this sickness and tiredness thing, I feel barely functional! :(
Anyone else finding mumsnet keeps logging them out?

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 11/04/2014 23:09

shanels I haven't been fond of Xmas recently but that might change.
I had no appetite today so of course now I'm hungry and I want pizza Confused I'll just sleep that one off, shall I? Good night all

DessertFox · 11/04/2014 23:11

Good evening mamas to be, just had a V surprised BFP here and needed to be among people who understood. Thanks for being here it has made everything a bit less scary. If all goes well, EDD id 19/12/14. that's pretty close to christmas...! Happy friday all XXX

ImBrian · 11/04/2014 23:17

Vicky mine keeps logging me out, it's getting annoying now!

OP posts:
Bubblybint · 12/04/2014 02:01

I can't sleep because I'm trying not to be sick (would be the 5th time today). I threw up on a train on Thursday and on Wednesday into my handbag (or would have been the car). That was a new low. Help pleeeeaaase

oohdaddypig · 12/04/2014 04:10

Hey can I join too please?

BFP last week and EDD 17 December. This is baby no 3 but no less exciting (and worrying as I'm a worrier Grin )

Usually I feel utterly normal till 6 weeks when 3 months of nausea starts but I'm nauseous already. For me, salty foods help like crisps. And eating constantly!!

Bubbly - that's tough. Does actually being sick bring any relief? Could you try constantly eating crisps or ginger biscuits?

SassehMonsta · 12/04/2014 05:04

Welcome Dessert & daddypig, and congratulations!! I've found (by trial and error) that marmite sandwiches stop me feeling sick, and that i can only eat savoury foods (I miss chocolate but even the thought makes me queasey!) My boss recommended plain biscuits, Foxs mints etc.

I've yet to be sick but constant nausea for the last week and I get the runs first thing in the morning (4-5 am). Blergh. Body clock has changed so I'm now an early bird, much to the annoyance of my night owl husband!

Ladylel · 12/04/2014 08:50

How exciting is this, got my MATB1 in the post the other day! Slowly getting real ish, anyone else got this yet? X

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 12/04/2014 09:32

You can't get a matb1 until you are 20 weeks pregnant. Are you sure that's the form you got?

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 12/04/2014 09:37

And it doesn't come in the post - the midwife gives it to you.

Anyway congrats to all the newbies to the thread. Grin

BobaFetaCheese · 12/04/2014 10:20

Lady, was it your NHS exemption card? Mine is still valid from DS2 Grin and there was an overlap with him & DS1 so I've not had to pay for prescriptions since 2011

Congrats Dessert & Daddypig.

Ladylel · 12/04/2014 11:34

Oops My bad, yes it's exemption :/ I was reading about mat b1s and they all said 20+ weeks and stuff. Read it a bit quickly and assumed its a card not a piece of paper lol!
