So I got a stupidly early faint positive today at 9dpo when I should definitely know better after a chemical last month. According to the Calendar I'm due December 1st so I've decided to be massively optimistic and start this thread. Is there anybody put there?

vslug at my surgery you don't do that. You just make an appt to see the midwife at 8 weeks.

vslug · 10/04/2014 21:26

Also another quick thing from me... Off to the doctors tomorrow for a blood test to confirm the pregnancy... Anyone know how long you have to wait for the results to come back?? Appreciate it's probably different at every surgery.

vslug · 10/04/2014 21:31

Yeah - I'm not sire of I booked something wrong - but there was nothing on the website to say wait until 8 weeks so I thought I'd go with it!

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 10/04/2014 22:02

Welcome Poly and congrats.

We have a separate doc to keep track who's in the group, I have added you, here's the link DecStats for you to have a look and add further info on the data tab if you wish, there is also a 'stats' tab but it doesn't work on mobile and probably not on ipad either, you won't be able to see the graphs.

Ladies booking scans, update your data too Smile

On the topic of not telling, I've stopped drinking alcohol and coffee years ago so have it easy on that one. But you can always say you're on antibiotics, or detoxing or whatever. With me, the fact that I am not exercising is raising questions.

OH brought some raw ham back from Germany for me, cos I really like it but I can't eat it, Envy. And asparagus too that I just adore with home made mayonnaise, life is cruel sometimes.

PolytheneGirl · 10/04/2014 22:14

Thank you paranoid I've just popped on and updated, strangely it all seemed to work well on the iPad. I love that format! Lucky you, on the tell tale signs. I'm probably going to be found out very soon on the coffee front!

Fallada hope this link is useful:

This time around it seems more complicated with appointments etc. I've been to my GP and she has taken my stats e.g. weight, blood pressure, last date of period etc. then I have to wait a few weeks for an appointment to come though either at the hospital or local children's centre which I think is a 'booking in appointment' and then after that I will see the community midwife who is based at the GP's surgery.

Minion · 11/04/2014 07:12

Morning girls.
I'm joining today, got a bfp 4 days ago. It still hasn't sunk in. Due date 17 December , only told work and one friend who knows I was having trouble conceiving.
Nervous, yep.
Hungry, yep.
Windy..oh yes!
Nice to meet you and here's to a happy and healthy 9 months eh.

BobaFetaCheese · 11/04/2014 07:24

Welcome min i recognise you from the JSer thread (ex grad lurking), so glad you've got your bfp finally! Hoping we see red on this side soon too.

Good luck today vslug, my gp doesnt offer betas. Ee have to book on after 7 weeks!

My family and BIL know, have to tell PIL and mates soon. DH told work yesterday. They've been great with time off for mc in the past so it's worth them knowing! Lack of symptoms here, aside from hating ketchup, which was my craving with ds2!

What's everyone upto this weekend?

Ladylel · 11/04/2014 07:31

Oooo I wanna be on the stats :) (talk about wanting to join the big girls) first baby due dec 1st age 26

Ladylel · 11/04/2014 07:38

Have just realised it's a google doc so I can add my own. Such a loser! Lol

Ladylel · 11/04/2014 07:40

No I can't I am douche cry

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 11/04/2014 08:37

Congratulations minion :) welcome to the group and part of the very special Xmas baby club :)

6w1d feeling very queasy. Think I need to eat an oatcake or something when I get up think it's the empty stomach bringing it on. I get up at 6 and don't tend to first eat till 8.30 at the earliest so it's quite a long time to go without something

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 11/04/2014 08:38

Congratulations lady :)

Minion · 11/04/2014 09:14

boba I've got a good feeling about red, it's about time luck shone down on here isn't it.
Eeek emily a Chrimbo kid! It's my favourite time of year too so double celebrations. As soon as I know I'm in the safe zone I can start to look forward to it a bit more though. It's still early days and I'm shaking more than an unreliable jelly on a 3 legged table!
I'll go add my name to the stats.

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 11/04/2014 09:30

Happy Friday and welcome
lady I've added your details, congrats
minion do I recognise you from the maybies?
emily lol Xmas babies club, I like it, we should make it our official group name.

I don't fancy normal breakfast today, worried I'm going down with a cold. Also don't fancy working.

Ladylel · 11/04/2014 09:43

Thanks Emily And Paranoid

It's all very cute that we're all due in Xmas time I just hope not on Xmas day. Think if the expense lol

I also didn't feel like breakfast, woke up feeling ok but about 30 minutes later I was retching. Just about stomached a banana so I could take my multivitamin. Trying to avoid bread I am so bloated lately :(

I have my first mw appt on 1stmay and il be 9w+3d I then get married a few weeks later and I'll be 12w +4d. hubs2b has got his speech sorted needless to say!

Minion · 11/04/2014 10:11

paranoid I was part of a few buses last year but because nothing was happening I dropped out! couldn't deal with checking in with loads of new folk month after month after month. This one looks a good'un though.
I'm having a 'I don't pregnant at all' type of day today. Trying not to read too much into it. Yesterday felt very nauseaus in the morning but I think it's cause I skipped breakfast.
Today, well. I guess I wait and see.
Does anyone's boob pain come and go? It's there if I prod them but not aching until the evening.

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 11/04/2014 10:37

Minion Xmas is also my fav time of year. Love all the festivities :) can't wait to be dressing a little mini Emily in a Santa/reindeer babygrow!! Hehe

EmilyPinkOrBlue · 11/04/2014 10:42

Paranoid when the thread maxes out we will have to make a new one called Xmas babies club :)

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 11/04/2014 10:45

minion I know where you're coming from, I really hope you've got a sticky one. I haven't had any symptoms so far, and don't feel pg, I'll believe it when I see it iykwim. Got an 8 week scan in 3 weeks. There are lots of difficult stories on this bus, fx dec will be our lucky month. Smile

Minion · 11/04/2014 11:02

paranoid totally understand what you mean. I'm hoping that's it's a blip as I'm weeing for England still so assume that wouldn't continue if it was a sticky one.

Missjasper · 11/04/2014 11:28

Hi lady's! Happy Friday to everyone :-) paranoid can you add me to the list pretty please! It's my first and due 13th December I think anyway! And I'm 31. I've tried but doesn't seem to want to let me add on my iPad sorry! I've been holding out just in case and constantly knicker checking but guess I've gotta believe it some time! Looks like Xmas babies all round! Oh my god how exciting!!

Ladylel · 11/04/2014 11:45

minion my boobs are the same. Sometimes they ache, sometimes nothing, sometimes it's when I've leant on them (tummy sleeper) or taking my bra off. I can say they feel bigger too! Bonus!

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 11/04/2014 11:46

missjasper you're on

Missjasper · 11/04/2014 12:25

paranoid thankyou!! :-)
